Our wedding at Burlington was absolutely magical, and a huge part of that was thanks to the venue itself. From the very beginning, we were drawn to its beautiful blank slate and timeless elegance of the property. It gave us the freedom to truly customize our wedding and bring our vision to life.

One of the biggest advantages of Burlington was their flexibility with access to the venue since we were guaranteed to be the only wedding for the entire weekend, a rare find! We were able to spend a considerable amount of time at the venue 1-2 days leading up to the wedding, which was invaluable for the long set-up process, especially since we opted to DIY a lot of decorations. This relieved so much stress and allowed us to really personalize every detail, while also being able to sit back and truly enjoy the entire day of our wedding.

The venue also had an impressive inventory of items available for use. The variety of tables, rolling bars, and other rentable items made planning so much easier. They really thought of everything!

What truly set Burlington apart were some of their unique offerings that we didn't find at other venues. The outdoor heaters were a lifesaver for our evening dessert hour, keeping our guests comfortable even as the temperature dropped. The cornhole boards added a fun and casual element to our cocktail hour that everyone enjoyed. The fully operational vintage concessions trailer was a HUGE hit for late-night ice cream service – such a unique and memorable touch! And the groomsmen suite? Absolutely fantastic! It was so important that the groom and his party also had a dedicated space to relax and get ready.

Perhaps the most amazing feature of all was the bridal cottage. Having the ability to add on an overnight stay was a game-changer! Being able to get ready on-site bright and early took so much stress out of the morning, allowing us to maximize the entire wedding day. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and had plenty of space, comfortably sleeping six. The three makeup/hair chairs were perfect for our group, ensuring everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable getting-ready experience.

We also have to give a shout-out to Madison, who was an absolute dream to work with. She was always incredibly quick to respond to our emails and provided invaluable insight during our on-site planning meeting. Her expertise and helpfulness made the entire planning process so much smoother.

If you're looking for a beautiful, flexible venue that allows you to truly make your wedding your own, then look no further than Burlington. We can't recommend it highly enough!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Burlington as a baby shower venue. Madison and Betty were the best! So professional, incredibly attentive and made sure every detail was handled with care all while making it fun! Burlington was the perfect wedding venue. It’s absolutely beautiful, and there are so many different spaces to make the day feel personal and unique from start to finish. Every part of it felt special.

And Madison—the venue coordinator (day of but gets in contact with you two months prior)—is truly a gem. She went above and beyond for us and handled everything with such calm and care. I seriously don’t know how she does it all, but I’m so glad she was by our side.

We had 200 guests (a very fun and very thirsty crowd), and she somehow managed to keep everything running smoothly. I’ll never forget it. Can’t recommend Burlington (and Madison!) enough!

I’m very lucky that we had Madison to help guide us through the planning process! She is extremely thorough and detailed. On the day of, I feel like I didn’t have to do anything because Madison was so amazing and took care of everything. We are so glad we went with Burlington Weddings & Events because it ended up being the perfect day.

Although not a wedding, Burlington Weddings and Events owners and staff went above and beyond to put together a remarkable Christmas themed drive thru for our company’s employees and families to enjoy. The organization and flow of getting everyone through to see all the displays and characters, making sure everyone got their gifts and goodies, went without a hitch. At the end, we got to park and gather under the big tent where everyone got to see ol’ St. Nick. A great family evening spent at a remarkable venue in beautiful Charles City.

I have attended several weddings at Burlington and I can say by far that this is one of the prettiest venue i have been to for a wedding . All the staff and coordinator were awesome and great to deal with. If you or someone that you know are looking for a venue to get married at I would highly recommend this venue.

We got married at Burlington Weddings & Events on August 10, 2024. It was truly the most perfect day. It was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Burlington was a perfect venue and the staff was wonderful to work with. Madison was our coordinator and she did a fabulous job. She was so organized from day one to the big day. She was easy to get in touch with and answered every question we had. She organized all of the details with our vendors and everything went so smoothly on the big day. The venue was absolutely stunning. Our ceremony was perfect outside in front of the arbor and our reception was beautiful inside of the ballroom. Also - the bridal cottage is perfect for the morning of the big day. All of the girls got their hair & makeup done inside the cottage and it was perfect. The guys enjoyed their time in the groom’s den. We cannot recommend Burlington enough! We would do it all over again the exact same way!
