No it will not be. Just make sure that you keep all of your fittings.

Hi there, it honestly depends where you're planning to buy it from. David's Bridal for example has a warehouse of dresses ready to go so January would be fine. But certain designers through typical bridal shops can take 5-7 months to design and ship your gown. Then you'll still need at least one month for fittings. Hope that helps. Good luck!

But pls make sure you get your hair and makeup artists hold the date..because normally brides book around 6 months before or so...best wishes

Give yourself (and the dress shop) 6 months from ordering your dress... This will allow time for ordering mishaps, fittings and pressing. :) It also depends on the shop, but typically I hear dress shops need 3 months to get specially ordered dresses in... you may need longer if this is a custom dress.
Congratulations and Best Wishes to YOU!!!

Different shops have different deadlines. The best way to find out when to order is to call around and ask. Your local shops will be able to tell you exactly when you need to pick a dress :)
Have fun!
