First Look

Hi Sadie! I’m Wanda and I’m planning my wedding for 12/20/26.


At first I was not a fan of the first look idea because I thought that it would take away from the experience of walking down the aisle.
However, after giving it some thought, I decided to do it for the following reasons:* having another sweet moment on the agenda to look forward to* letting go of most of my tears (I’m a cryer so I rather let the waterfall go in private)* to get most of the private photos done upfront so that I can enjoy some of the cocktail hour with family/friends.

I can let you know how it went after the wedding 💗

My husband and I decided not to do the first look bc he wanted to be surprised when I walked down the aisle. He was the best moment bc he was surprised to see me in my dress for the first time. He told me later that he was going through some emotions of seeing me in my dress. Either way you will get the moments that you are looking for no what you decide to do

Another option can be where you and he are on opposite sides of a wall or door that allows you to hold each other's hand and chat before you walk down the aisle. In Wanda's situation, this would help reduce the crying before going down the aisle.
