is there anyway to use both peacocks and bees for a wedding theme?
I originally wanted to have my colors be blue and purple because they are our favorite colors and use peacock feathers throughout the wedding because peacocks are my favorite animal and they go with our wedding colors. Now my FH wants to use bees also because he likes them . is there anyway I can use both and it look good.

You could incorporate honeycomb with peacock feathers using the more brownish rustic yellow so there wouldn't be such a stark contrast between the bright colors of a bee and soft colors of the peacock. More of the vintage type bee as opposed to a bright cartoon look if that makes sense.

Depending on what shade of purple & blue as your main colors, yellow would be a striking accent color to both or either of them. Sounds nice! Go for the whole earthy feel with lots of greenery too.

I recently saw something with a peacock theme which was amazing...

I'm sure if you went with the golder tones rather than the bright yellows it would work beautifully. Peacock feathers often have gold in them ...

I would suggest using Peacock Feathers in your Centerpieces and Possibley giving Little Jars of Honey as your favors.

I think you can make these things work!

As someone said above, use a more golden tone for the bees.

I saw somewhere they had peacock feathers made into flowers...maybe you can use those in your centerpieces with golden bees also.

I think it sounds nice!

I also think Katie's idea about the honey favors is a good one! Maybe you can find a local bee keeper who can hook you up.

I can just see little jars with labels saying "How sweet it is to 'bee' loved by you." :-)

Lakeria, Your "Birds & Bees" wedding reception sounds very cute. I would use the honeycomb design in your invitations and stationary, and then the feathers in the centerpieces and bouquets. I like the idea of making a "tree" centerpiece (first picture below) which incorporates both the feathers (for the birds) and the yellow orchids (for the bees).
