I am getting married next October. My dress is champagne, any suggestions on colors for bridesmaids?

We would like to stick with the fall warm colors. I am using brown and green for the invites, but don't really want to use the brown for dresses.

How about a copper or burnt orange:

Or keep with the green:

Or I happen to like peacock blue for the fall:

All of these came from this blog if you want to browse through other color combinations:

Hope that helps!

For bold, I'd go with a reddish-orange.
For contrast, I'd go with a complimentary color such as lavender.
To keep it subtle, stay in the same color family and that would be apricot or peach.
Paint chips at your local hardware or paint store can be of great value when picking out colors. Find a color that matches your dress, then play with different colors to find what combinations you like and go from there. Make sure you look at color with natural light. Fluorescent and others can change the way colors look.
Best of Luck,
Cynthia

Hi,
I, too, like the idea of an orange color or even for a more conservative sophisticated look you could with chocolates.
Congratulations

Hi!! I love that time of year, all the colors of the trees are truly astounding! Golden yellows would look great or even an orange coral. You will have to chek out the cake that we are making for Nov 7. We are using all the colors for the leaves for the cake. It might strike you, and that way you can see what I am talking about!! Good luck planning-Juanita

I just got married in October. My dress was also champagne. My girls wore brown dresses with a cinnamon/copper ribbon. The guys matched in brown tuxes wtih cinnamon vests. We received many compliments on the color combo. I wasn't sure on the brown tuxes, but loved it when it all came together!

Congrats! I think if you stay within the coppers, brown, and/or orange hues it would add that dramatic yet elegant look. Also go well with the season you have chosen.
Great time of year to get married!!
Again, congrats!

Picking Champagne is a great choice. Fall colors range all accross the board when it comes to weddings. Check out the deep blue hues, oranges and even the greens. I am sure it will all be wonderful. Let us know what you decide.

My color is lilac, so my BM's dresses are lilac (soft fabric) and champagne-colored shoes.

Wow, a lot of great suggestions here! It looks like you have a ton of options. I like the inspiration boards that Red Butte posts. Maybe you should look at some more champagne boards and see what colors are included that you like.

Go dress shopping to see what you like and what colors they offer. If you commit to a color and you can't find dresses you like in that color, you'll end up changing it anyway. Sage is a lovely color, but will your bridesmaids look good in that color? Will it make their complexion yellow? These are all considerations when picking colors. Good Luck!

I love burnt orange and brown together! So pretty in the fall and burnt orange looks good on almost every skin tone.

I think gold would look really good with champagne, and you'll stand out more than if you did a color closer to red.
