Wedding Vendors in Chicago

I found Moeller Music online while researching music options for my daughter’s recent wedding. I appreciated that they left musical clips on their website to get a sense of their style and sound. When I reached out to contact Paul, his responses were always within 24 hours—I also thought pricing was reasonable for the quality of music that they provide. I was thrilled and impressed by the music of the Moeller team—what a sense of class and elegance they brought to the ceremony!! I cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone that’s currently planning an event, I’m so thankful they were a part of our wonderful and memorable day!!

They were amazing to work with! We had a court house ceremony for our wedding, so we went big on our honeymoon! Kandice listened to everything we were looking for, and we agreed on Jade Mountain, in St. Lucia! She made the whole process super easy and really listened to what we wanted. Everything was handled for us, from the hotel to activities, and it all went so smoothly. It honestly made the trip way more relaxing since we didn’t have to stress about any of the details. Our honeymoon turned out even better than we expected, and a big part of that was thanks to them. I’d definitely recommend using them if you’re planning a trip and want things to be simple and stress-free.

My first wedding vendor review has to be about Johnna Metcalf. Where do I even begin? Johnna is one of the most brilliant, kind, organized, warm, friendly and calm people I have ever met. She’s one of those people where you immediately feel at ease when you’re around her. Hiring her was by far our greatest wedding investment and I would hire her over and over again if I could. She made our day absolutely flawless - if ANYTHING was sliiightly off or wrong, she caught it immediately, calmly, and handled it with poise - always reassuring us she’s got it covered. I felt 100% at ease, all day, because of her. The DETAILS of what she does for you is unmatched. She cared about our family and we all felt it. We are obviously still on cloud 9 from the wedding, and haven’t stopped talking about it - but our most frequent compliment by far (from our bridal party and family) is how wonderful Johnna was. Thank you Johnna for the greatest weekend of our lives ❤️

Jewell provided excellent food and service. Our wedding had to be postponed and they worked hard to make sure we got the food we originally ordered at the original price. I really appreciated their hard work and everything was delicious.

We worked with Cassandra for our June 2022 wedding, and I am so glad we did! She was so kind and easy to work with. She made the whole process so easy. She listened to all our requests, and helped fill in the gaps with amazing suggestions when we weren’t totally sure what we wanted. She really brought our vision to life, and our day was more beautiful than I could have imagined!

We were so happy with our wedding photography thanks to Daniela's fabulous work! She took beautiful photos and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. I can't recommend her enough. I am so glad to have such lovely photos to look back on.

Me and my husband selected Vowed to You as our day of coordinator. The only thing we would change is if we could rewind time and have Kyna be our wedding planner. From day one Kyna paid attention to detail and gave amazing recommendations. Our other wedding vendors had some hiccups setting up and I knew nothing of it because Kyna handled everything based on conversations we previously had about our vision. She ensured everything we needed throughout the day and night was taken care of.

Nick at DJ Chicago truly made our wedding reception exceptional - no exaggeration. We were actually blown away by his ability to read the room and keep the energy high and positive from beginning to end. We received endless compliments from our wedding guests on the DJ's incredible song choices and ability to bring the party to life. He was kind, organized, responsive, and accommodating leading up to the wedding as well. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ.

When we first came across George Street, we were excited about everything they presented. They offered a combined package for both photography and videography, and at a more affordable price than competing vendors we researched. Nine months later, we are very happy with everything the George Street team brought to our wedding. Once we met with one of their consultants, we got to choose from among their available photographers/videographers. All correspondence throughout the entire process was always timely and cordial, as the team was very kind in answering our many questions. The team also provided us a convenient online portal for us to enter all the details about our wedding, make payments, etc. Shortly before the wedding, the team connected us directly with our assigned photographers/videographers. Our photographers, Kristy and Michelle, added a positive presence with thoughtful creativity in suggesting different poses and places on site. They kept encouraging us that the overcast lighting of the day would actually make for much better photos. Mario, our videographer, was also very professional. Ultimately, everyone was very friendly and accommodating, and the resulting photos were absolutely stunning. We also received full hour-long video and highlight reel covering the day, which were special to relive. We would highly recommend George Street for other engaged couples who want to capture their big day without breaking the bank.

We hired Chris because we wanted someone we could trust to take ownership of the music and overall flow of the evening, and he absolutely delivered. From our very first conversation, we told him that music wasn’t our area of expertise. Our biggest request was simple: keep the dance floor full and make the music something we didn’t have to worry about on our wedding day. Chris took the time to get to know us as a couple and truly listened. Throughout the day, I constantly found myself saying, “I love this song,” even when it wasn’t something we had suggested. From cocktail hour through the last dance, every transition felt natural, the energy was spot on, and the dance floor stayed packed. If you’re looking for a DJ who will genuinely understand your vision, make thoughtful decisions on your behalf, and create an incredible atmosphere without needing constant direction, Chris is exactly who you want. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience!
