As soon as I walked into the Newark Club I was in love! The view alone is stunning and the service is outstanding. The whole staff is warm and inviting and extremely professional and reliable. Artie is great to work with and I feel like a gained a friendship as well!
Our guests did nothing but rave about the food, service, quality, and portion size. We didn't have to worry about a single thing the day of my wedding. Artie and his crew took care of everything and everyone! We also had our ceremony there and the set up was intimate and private. The cocktail hour in the lobby is different and unique.
The Newark Club is not your typical wedding venue and you will not be disappointed! I loved every minute of my wedding and couldn't have picked or asked for a better place to have my dream wedding!!

I cannot thank Artie and Harry enough for the best day ever. They were responsive, supportive, kind and thoughtful. The food was in abundance and outstanding. The Newark Club was absolutely stunning. Harry was great to work with. Very personable- full with knowledge and patient. My guests had nothing but good things to say about the food, drinks and presentation. I was very proud and happy with the end result. Harry is very professional and makes an awesome jerk rub! He was able to accomodate a tough group and I commend him. My wedding day was perfect!

My now husband and I got married at The Newark Club on June 15th, 2012. From the moment we walked into The Club 15 months prior to getting married, we were seriously impressed with the chic modern look of the room- this is exactly what were looking for since we didn't want a typical wedding venue with the same old decor/feel. That was only just the beginning. Manager Artie Wassif, sat with us, provided us with the services offered, and assured us that we would not be disappointed. We put our faith into Artie and booked the venue. It was our best decision ever made. Not only was Artie a professional with us, but he was also a coach. He helped us in every way possible whether is was guiding us with the extensive, delicious, over the top menu, set up of the room, advice on decor, answering emails (and there were many!) within minutes with the same cheerful attitude, and working with our vendors. He bent over backwards in every way possible. The day of the wedding came and went and we did not have a worry in the world because of Artie and The Newark Club staff (my bridal assistant, Esther, was also out of this world)! Our wedding day was absolutely fantastic and we owe most of that to Artie Wassif and The Newark Club. Thank you for your gorgeous, diamond in the rough venue, highest level of expertise and service, staff, chefs, and everything else in between. You made our wedding the best day of our lives!

AMAZING location. We had our wedding there & I can say that we are so happy we went with Harry and the Newark Club. We booked them specifically for their beautiful one of a kind views of the city and the unique cocktail hour. We didn't know how amazing their staff would be the day off - service was definitely well above our expectations.

If you are looking for great service, beautiful views of the NYC skyline and something all-around different from everything else in north jersey. This is your place!!!

To say that I'd recommend this to a friend is an understatement. Their service and the SPECTACULAR FOOD speaks for itself. many of my guests have already informed me that after that food, they too will be using The Newark Club in the future. I couldnt be more excited bc I sure want to taste that food again ! harry was responsive to all my questions and accessible via text, calls, emails..etc. No question went unanswered and no detailed overlooked. I highly highly recommend it. If you're looking on wedding wire to decide bt this and another venue, please go with this one. I've been to many weddings and havent been as impressed..also, the spectacular view helps ! :)

From the moment I spoke with Artie on the phone I knew we were making the right choice. He was absolutely wonderful to work with and always knew how to ease any of my worries. Our wedding was on 10/14/11 and everyone can't stop talking about what an event it truly was. From the views, the food, and the staff everything was perfect!! Ester was by my side the entire night, she was always giving me a new drink, helping me use the bathroom, and even getting stains out of my dress!! We could not have asked for a more perfect venue! Thank you again for making our dream wedding come true!

We had our wedding at The Newark Club and we are sooo happy with our decision! It was such a different atmosphere than all of the weddings we have been to. We didn't want your typical wedding banquet hall, and as soon as we saw The Newark Club and the views, we loved it! All our wedding guests told us they loved the view, and it was one of the nicest wedding venues they had ever been to. They accomodated all of the decorating aspects that I wanted and were very professional. The cocktail hour in the lobby was so unique and came out beautiful and elegant! We worked with Artie most of the time in the planning of our wedding and he was excellent, always reassuring us and the wedding day went seamlessly. The food was EXCELLENT, our guests told us it was excellent food, and many said the best food they have ever had at a wedding, and our dessert/venetian table was a huge hit, many guests told us it was the best venetian table they have ever seen at a wedding. We LOVED hearing this feedback, it just reaffirmed the fact that we picked an excellent place and threw a great party for our wedding thanks to The Newark Club!!

In hindsight- having been at several weddings since planning my own... what makes a wedding run smoothly is the strength of the person running the reception. The Newark Club has it down perfectly.

Our wedding was planned on pretty short notice (5 months). Artie made sure we were more than comfortable with getting things done. The reception was beautiful, the food was excellent and our guests had a great time. Esther the bridal attendant was so sweet and attentive. I would definitely recommend this venue for the wedding you dream of.

Harry Prott and Staff were absolutely magnificent. From beginning to end The Newark Club made our wedding stress free!

You will not find more incredible service, food or an accommodating staff than at The Newark. I would not have had the wedding I had if were not for Harry Prott and his team. They were flexible, gracious, generous, accommodating, and exhibited the highest standards of service I have ever experienced.

People told me the food was the best wedding food they've ever had (I WISH I HAD EATEN) and that the room was spectacular (thanks also to my florist and planner, Extraordinary Productions). The room has so much ambiance on its own, and the view is incredible. Also, the linens and other options included in the wedding package are top notch.

Lastly, the day of the wedding, we had the most wonderful and attentive Bridal Attendant who took such good care of us, Esther. We didn't know if we were coming or going, and she was there with us the whole night to make sure we were fed, taken care of and that we went along with the program.

If you are looking for a venue in Norther NJ, I urge you to give Harry a call and just chat. They are a lovely group, and will take any stress you would otherwise have, out of the wedding planning experience. You won't regret it.

The Newark Club provided a fantastic view of Manhatten from the top floor of the building, you can't get a better background than that! All of my guests raved how elegant the club was and best yet- the food was better than most weddings they have been to. The Newark Club was accomodating to all of our special requests from the minute we first met with them all the way through completion. The staff was so very helpful with everything. Myself (bride) and my husband had a dedicated staff member wait on us all night and I never needed for anything!! Another Newark Club staff member was soley dedicated to the parents of both families and they never needed for anything either. My husband and I couldn't belive just how perfect and smooth the event went. Due to our budget constraints, we were trying to have realistic expections. However, The Newark Club worked with us so we had very reasonable costs but PREMIER service and fantastic food. I almost want to do it all over again! Thanks Newark Club for making a bride and groom feel special and for creating such an elegant and customer service oriented feel for my guests!!!

Love this place, always did & always wanted my wedding there.

We recently had our wedding at the Newark Club (4.27.2012) and I keep trying to think of one bad thingto say, and I cannot! From the day we came to view the location to signing the contract to planning and then the big day, everything was FANTASTIC! Harry and Esther, you were wonderful to work with! The Newark Club was just the perfect location for our wedding. We still have guests saying they've never had better food at a wedding before! THANK YOU for making our day wonderful.
