If I can give this venue more stars I would!! The service provided was exceptional! The food was delicious all the way around. The servers and Kelly, the event manager, catered to our every need and treated our guests like royalty. I was very anxious on how the decor would be displayed and after every meeting with Kelly, I felt at ease and that she would understand my vision. Kelly handled the timing with everything with such ease and flow. She truly made my dream wedding come to life !

We have had four very special events at the Smoke Rise Village Inn, Kinnelon. I would say that it gets better every time but from our very first event every detail was actually perfect. A bridal shower, two weddings and a baby shower~ all different times of the year and each one so very special. Randy Polo, the wonderful Manager of Smoke Rise, is so detail oriented, responsive, a terrific listener and a very calming influence. Every detail at each of our events was taken care of beautifully. We knew that our celebrations would be exactly as we hoped for and more. The venue is simply beautiful, in a peaceful setting that feels magical ...just as you would like your special day to be. The Smoke Rise Village Inn has been our family "go-to" and never disappoints. Thank you Randy and staff

A great venue! Manager was attentive and thorough. The venue is spacious, classically laid out, clean and with indoor/outdoor options. The food was great with plenty of options. I would highly recommend it.

When Cathy & I were looking for a wedding venue, we saw The Smoke Rise Village Inn in Kinnelon, NJ on a local social media site. We made an appointment to meet with Randy and Sherri. They could not have been more professional and caring. They asked us questions about ourselves and what we were looking for on the day of our wedding. They were really interested in what we had to say. They put together a plan for us that would cater to our needs and our price range. Sherri kept in touch with us all throughout the process, leading up to the big day. There was a big selection of food to choose from. All the choices were amazing. Sherri and Cathy would talk regularly during the time leading up to the wedding and reception. The venue is beautiful, from inside to out and it is located in a beautiful setting. The inside was everything we were looking for. Sherri and Randy made the process go smoothly. When we came to the venue a couple days before, it looked stunning. On our wedding day, when we arrived at The Village Inn, Gloria (head of the wait staff) introduced herself and really took care of us with the appetizers and drinks during the cocktail hour. We felt like we were family to the entire staff. The cocktail hour food was delicious and our guests complimented how good everything was. Our buffet was loved by all who attended our special day. The thing that stands out to us, the most, was how the entire crew at this venue really cared so much and fulfilled our fantasy wedding . From day one, to the conclusion of our special day, every single person involved at the Smoke Rise Village Inn , made us feel like we were the only two people on this planet. Cathy and I would recommend this venue to anyone that is looking for the wedding of their dreams. If we could give them more than five stars, we would. I would also, highly recommend, Twin Oaks Entertainment(Mike) for your DJ needs. The people were on the dance floor, all night. In ending, Cathy and I could not have made a better choice of picking a venue for our celebration. Thank you, Randy and Sherri for making our dreams come true♥️

My husband and I had a fantastic wedding day! Staff was responsive leading up to our special day, and our day could not have been more special and perfect. Almost a year later, our guests are still raving about our special day!

We had our reception at Smoke Rise and it was absolutely amazing and incredible! The grounds are absolutely beautiful, welcoming and great for photos. We loved being at a country club venue so we can return for a nice dinner post the reception for special events and anniversaries.

The staff took great care of our guests and we couldn't be more thankful. We had multiple guests tell us how wonderful they were and raved about the cocktail hour and dinner food (everyone loved the gyros!).

Working with Kelly and her team was my favorite part of the wedding process - she made it so easy and fun. Kelly is extremely personable and fun to work with - and most importantly made the planning easy! Any question I had, Kelly had a solution too. Thank you Kelly!

The reception space had ample room for a 10 musician band, 125 guests and a live painter. There's so many options to take photos outside and indoors. We absolutely loved having our wedding at Smoke Rise!

I cannot say enough about this venue and team. Everyone says how on your wedding day something will go wrong, and i can fully say that did not happen with us. The whole team at Smoke Rise makes you feel like your part of their family from the moment you go to check out the venue to the big day. Kelly was incredible and on top of everything making it zero stress. She was on top of every email for every detail. We gave all our decor days before the wedding day so they had time to set most everything up for us which was a huge help. And the food was beyond amazing. Like truly 5 star quality food you would expect for some restaurant in Manhattan. The scenery is beautiful and felt so cozy and inviting. This place wont disappoint.

I had my wedding at the Smoke Rise Village Inn this past November 4, 2023. To say it was more than I dreamed of, would be an understatement. From the moment I arrived at Smoke Rise, I knew it was where I wanted to have my wedding. The grounds and ballroom are beautiful and having our own private patio area was perfect. The stone work and beautiful courtyard gives the entire venue a warm feeling. The catering sales manager, Kelly, was exceptional to work with! She answered every email and phone call promptly. She worked within our budget and made sure we were able to get what we wanted. The food was delicious and the servers and bartenders were so friendly and helpful. Kelly was on site and fully involved the day of my wedding, making sure we were happy and taken care of. The private stone patio was perfect and gave our guests and ourselves a space to grab some fresh air and enjoy the beautiful night. From the ceremony to our sparkler "exit" fun, I could have not asked for a more perfect day!

Our experience with the Smoke Rise Village Inn was wonderful - every aspect of our wedding was perfect and the Inn played a huge role in that. The Catering Manager, Kelly Herchick, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She coordinated with all of our vendors flawlessly. The venue, food and staff were amazing and I can't recommend them enough.

We had our wedding ceremony outside and reception in the Ballroom in September 2023. Kelly was exceptionally helpful in the planning and on our Wedding day. The Smoke Rise Village Inn was elegant and rustic, just what we were looking for! We received many compliments on the venue, staff and their delicious 😋 cocktail hour foods, main courses, and the Palermo bakery's cake! Thank you for a wonderful day!
