Lisa was recommended to me by a friend who had recently got married and I am really pleased that this happened. From the first time I spoke with Lisa I could tell she was on top of her game and had a wealth of experience I really needed. She was there for me to ask questions to, provided suggestions for vendors and just generally helped me.

Although I had only asked for Lisa’s services for the day of my wedding, she gave her support in the weeks leading up to the wedding and came in at a critical time when I was developing the timeline of the wedding day. Lisa took this in hand and used her experience to work with me to develop the final timeline - a great weight off my mind.

Lisa also helped problem solve before the wedding arrived - I was very concerned one of my vendors wasn’t going to deliver on their contract and Lisa worked closely with me to help me with the issue (the vendor did deliver!). Lisa also helped me with what I considered more tricky issues such as vendor gratuity (she has a suggestion page which was a lot of help) - the fact that she takes the responsibility of handing out the gratuities is excellent as you’re caught up in too many things to do it yourself.

During the week of the wedding Lisa attended our rehearsal and met the wedding party - she took special care to learn who everyone was and ensured she knew exactly how I was hoping for things to go - from reserved signs on the front pews to how I wanted the processional and recessional to be. Lisa offered suggestions but listened to what I really wanted which I appreciated.

On the day of the wedding, Lisa and her assistant were invaluable. They truly allowed me and my Mum to relax and enjoy the wedding rather than worry about all the little details we had spent so many months putting together.

Lisa and her assistant also dealt with any issues as they arose, so much so that I was only aware of one issue and that one was caused by my husband to be! Even then, they dealt with the issue very professionally for us (the issue wasn’t with Lisa or her assistant) and made me feel comfortable that everything was in hand.

Thanks to the planning we actually ran ahead of schedule for the majority of the day which meant I had more time to relax and take in the day than expected. You can’t put into words how valuable that was for me.

Looking back on the day I am not sure what we would have done without Lisa’s and her assistant’s help on the day of the wedding. They really knew what they were doing and I would highly recommend Lisa’s company to anyone who is planning any event.

Lisa provided day-of wedding coordinating for our wedding and was very easy to work with. I booked her very early in my planning process and even though she was not booked for any planning services, she was easy to reach out to if I had any questions and she knew how to answer everything to help easy my mind. During the day, Lisa was very organized and on top of everything. The entire day went very smoothly and if there was any problem, I was not aware of it since she would have handled it without bothering me, which is exactly what I wanted. I know my father told me of an issue during cocktail hour that she was very responsive and aggressive at solving immediately which I was very happy to hear of afterwords. Overall, I could not be happier with the help that I received and her rates were very reasonable for all that she did.

Lisa and Nicole were such a pleasure to work with. They made the day go smooth and took care off all the little details to make our wedding day spectacular! Highly recommend them!!!

I met Lisa at my cousins wedding almost a year before my wedding and i instantly took her card based on how she handled everything. A few months later a college friend of mine called to talk about a "awesome" wedding planner her sister used for her wedding, that she will also use for her upcoming wedding and it turns out we were referring to the same person, Lisa. Elite Affairs was by far one of the best choices for my wedding day. Lisa, was always responsive and is always at my beg and call. What i loved most about having her on my wedding day, is that she took care of everything. I had such a great stress free wedding day. She figured out through other sources if she needed anything and always seem to know where my own stuff was when i had no idea. What was mostly impressive is that she even held my dress when i had to use the bathroom and i felt very comfortable with her it seems as if i knew her for a very long time. She quickly became a great professional friend. My family loved Lisa and my husband praised her for getting all the groomsmen out on time for pictures...

Lisa was an absolute pleasure to work with! When I forgot the parasols for pictures at the hotel, she went back and got them for me! Excellent service. You will not regret hiring her.

Lisa was the absolute best. I got married on May 30, 2010 and Lisa took total control of my day, by simply following the directions I had given her for the way I wanted things to go on my wedding day. I wanted no involvement with set up or dealing with vendors or the reception hall people. Lisa and her staff made sure to take care of each and everything that took place on my wedding day. She and her staff made me feel like Queen and I appreciated all the work and professionlism she put into making my day the success it was. If you want to be able to sit back and enjoy every minute of your wedding day, then I reccommend using Elite !

I had the pleasure of attending high school with Ms.Scully but none the less Lisa treated me as she would her other clients in courteous and prosfessional manner. I must say I am extremely pleased of the work she did at my wedding.. she design my menu card,runner and programs.. I absolutely love them and would recommend her company with great honors to everyone I know.. she was my wedding co-ordinator along side with her assistant they took the hassle out of my day and made my day worry free.... I could not and would not have asked for a more prefect atmosphere that she created for me...

Choosing Lisa from Elite Affairs as my day-of-coordinator was one of the very best decisions I made for my wedding. Lisa was extraordinarily attentive leading up to the wedding, always answering all of my questions promptly. Whether she was offering advice on vendors or protocol or helping out with our venue, her expertise was abundantly helpful. On the big day itself, I could not have been more grateful to have Lisa there. It seemed like she could be in 6 different places at once - she put out more than one fire during the day (all to do with guests, vendors, and the venue), and yet she was always at my side when I needed her - helping out with my dress and even make-up, making all our guests feel comfortable, and making sure everything was running smoothly. Truly, my experience with Lisa was wonderful from the very beginning to the very end, and I highly recommend her.

If I had to choose the best decision as far as vendors that I made for my wedding day, hiring Lisa from Elite Affairs would be it. On my wedding day I had absolutely no worries thanks to Lisa. She took care of EVERYTHING that day. Prior to the wedding she was very responsive with any questions that I had. Lisa was my day of coordinator on October 3, 2009 for my wedding. I met Lisa in the summer of 2008 and knew right away she would be wonderful. During our first meeting she impressed me so much with her knowledge of the wedding industry. Throughout the year before my wedding she was always answering emails so quickly and always had the answers I needed. Although she did not need to Lisa came all the way to my church rehearsal the night before the wedding. She was much needed since half the bridal party/family was lost. She really helped organize everyone so they knew exactly what they needed to do the day of the wedding. On the morning on the wedding Lisa called me to see how everything was going and also called my husband. She arrived before I returned from getting my hair done and went right to work. She helped my bridesmaids, family and me so much before leaving for the church. At the ceremony the reader did not have his reading and she was quick to give it right to him before being asked. During pictures she was organizing everyone and making sure we stayed on time with the limos. We did stay on time with the limos and I really believe Lisa was responsible for that. Lisa had her assistant Nicole with her who did a fabulous job as well. During the reception Lisa and Nicole were very attentive and all around just wonderful. Lisa helped me so much that day and made it better then I could have imagined!

I had the pleasure of working with wedding coordinators Lisa and Nicole from Ellite Affairs LLC and it was a wonderful experience. They were very helpful and made me feel as if my wedding day was the most important day to them. I felt confident on my wedding day leaving everything in their hands and my wedding day was fabulous.

Words can't express how grateful I am for having Lisa. Before my sister found her I was on the verge of having a nervous breakdown. I was frustrated and overwhelmed. Lisa was great. She helped me so much. I ordered a runner from Ebay and didn't like one of the letters she fixed it for me. She did the broom, the cake topper and even found sand for me at the last minute for the sand ceremony. She made sure eveything was great the day of and it was. My bridal party loved her and I heard a couple groomsmen were broken hearted that she was off the market lol. Lisa was more like a friend than a DOC. I know she will be great at my sister's wedding. I hired Lisa for my DOC and she went above and beyond. She took care of the unpredicatble stress and dealt with some extra stress. My husband and i wasnt used to the attention that was given, but she made sure we were ok. communicating was on point. always was available to deal with my crazy questions and ideas. would HIGHLY reccommend!!

My day of coordinator Lisa Gaye-Scully started off great. That is after she tried to get out of delivering the wedding gifts back to our home after the reception because it was too far to drive from Morristown to New York. She eventually gave in and delivered the gifts but not alone. She should have made sure we got a final walk through before the reception and she should have watched our time but she did not. The wedding venue extended the cocktail hour 1/2 hour but then rushed everyone at the end of the night. She did not attend the rehearsal at the church because she had another wedding to do that weekend therefore, she didn't have a clue who should be where. Needless to say the day was full of mishaps that would have been avoided if an experienced coordinator were at the helm. Wedding crashers for example could have been redirected if she was not so busy flirting with one of the guys in the wedding party! She got paid $500 to come to a wedding, help herself to a free meal and a man to stalk! My affair would have been elite had she NOT attended!

Lisa at Elite Affairs exceeded my expectations. I hired her as a day-of coordinator, and she followed through with that and did so much more. She was so responsive throughout my entire wedding planning process, offering advice and answering questions about vendors and pricing. When my first reception site fell through, Lisa hit the ground running to find me a new site on short notice and within the specific budget I was working with-- this effort is above and beyond what I hired her for, and I was so grateful. On the day of the wedding, Lisa was professional and skilled, keeping everything running smoothly-- shuttling our guests on buses to and from the ceremony, helping coordinate with two limo drivers, dealing with NYC public and park officials...the list goes on. Thanks to Lisa, I ate, drank, danced and schmoozed-- all the things you're not supposed to get to do at your own wedding. Everything was great!
