During our first meeting with One 15 Events, we instantly clicked with Erica and ended up working with her planner, Katie. We had never planned an event before and didn’t really know where to start with planning a wedding. Erica broke the process down for us and immediately made us feel comfortable.

Katie made our dream day come true. She is incredible—and even that feels like it doesn’t fully capture how awesome she is. My wife and I were planning from different states and time zones, and Katie worked around our hectic schedules with such ease. She was always easy to talk to and guided us through every decision along the way.

I can sing the praises of One15 enough. Our wedding would have been a disaster without them. Instead, it was absolutely perfect, with every detail accounted for. Erica and Mackenize are SO friendly and easy to work with, in addition to being incredibly good at their jobs!

For almost the entirety of the planning process, we put off working with a wedding planner. About 3 weeks before our wedding day, we realized we couldn’t put it off any longer – that’s where One 15 Events came in. From our first conversation with Erica and Katie, we knew we made the right decision and were in the right hands. Katie immediately injected a sense of calm into the weeks leading up to our big day. She was thoughtful, thorough, precise, and decisive. On our wedding day, Katie was our right hand. She was our eyes and ears, running around to ensure every detail was executed as we planned. When there was a small table snafu at the eleventh hour, it was Katie who sprang into action to resolve. When it was time for our brief ceremony rehearsal, it was Katie who took charge and led the way. When we realized our bridesmaids hadn’t been given their bouquets for formal pictures, it took no more than a minute for Katie to locate and hand them out. It was because we had Katie there as an extension of us that we were able to sit back and enjoy what could have been a hectic and stressful day. Spoiler alert – the day was awesome! If you take one thing away from this review is that if you want to retain your sanity, you need a wedding planner and if you want the best wedding ever, you absolutely should hire Erica as your wedding planner. I take pride in being the type A nutjob planner for parties, trips, what have you. Planning a wedding is 200 times harder. You want everything to go exactly as you planned it because this is (hopefully) only going to happen once in your life and you’re probably shelling out a stupid amount of money for it. Erica not only takes into account the significance of the event throughout the entire process, but she simultaneously makes you feel at ease the entire time and actually makes it enjoyable.

Once Erica got a sense of who we were as a couple, our personalities, and generally what we liked, her vendor selections were on point and it made it that much easier to decide on who to hire. She also helped us stay organized and kept our to-do list limited to what we needed to decide on at any given time and allowed us to not be overwhelmed by an unmanageable laundry list of decisions to make.

On the day, Erica and her assistant Aaliyah were a well-oiled machine and made everything go as planned. Even the things that didn’t go exactly as planned (and there will be at least one thing…it’s unavoidable), they handled everything so well that no one noticed. One of the biggest worries I had was how everything we decided on, purchased, etc. was going to come together. When we walked into the room where our reception was held before the wedding and got to see everything in place, I was truly stunned, ecstatic, [insert every other positive adjective here]. Everything was how I envisioned it in my mind, but couldn’t articulate. I honestly think Erica can read minds.
During the reception, Erica and Aaliyah were somehow in several places at once. They were dealing with vendors, the venue staff, and yet somehow always made sure I had a glass of champagne in my hand at all times.

After the wedding, pretty much everyone we spoke to said that our wedding was the best one they’ve ever been to (their own included). Erica had a HUGE amount to do with that.

At the end of the day (or, really, the end of the 18 months), Erica is a top notch planner and truly a wonderful person. Hire. Her.

I cannot say enough great things about Erica and the One 15 Events team. I have a very type A personality and I meticulously planned my wedding for most of the 2 year COVID period. It was very tough to trust the execution of something I had been planning for almost 2 years to a stranger. I vetted over 15 wedding planners and from the first meeting One 15 Events stuck out as well above all of the other planners I spoke with. Erica is super organized, patient, kind and had a creative solution for every potential issue we brought to her attention in the weeks leading up to our wedding.

I could go on for days with all the wonderful things Erica and Katie did to make our wedding day the best day ever, but I will keep it short because we all know wedding planning is time consuming and you don’t need to be spending hours reading vendor reviews. On the day of the wedding Erica and Katie set up all of our decor seamlessly to our specifications . On the surface this seems like a basic task expected of wedding planners, but we had so much decor that it made our NYC apartment a prime candidate for an episode of Hoarders the week before our wedding. When the guests did not pick up the bubble guns for our picture perfect ceremony exit, Erica showed athleticism that I can only aspire to in making sure that she got to a bubble gun and our photographer got the perfect bubble photo that we had hoped for.
