City Winery Hudson Valley is a winery wedding venue located in Montgomery, New York. Our main objective is to deliver a quality culinary and cultural experience to couples and their wedding guests. Combining a fully functioning winery with private event space, it is versatile enough to accommodate a range of celebrations.
Facilities and Capacity
This dynamic venue offers several spaces that can be customized to host wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and more. City Winery Hudson Valley can accommodate groups of 25-1200, making it ideal for both lavish and intimate affairs.
Enjoy your cocktail hour in our Tasting Room (75 capacity), where we serve several of our house-made wines on tap. Adjacent to the Tasting Room is our Barrel Room Restaurant which can hold an additional 200 guests. Both spaces provide access to our outdoor patio areas.
While the dishes are being created, you can make your way to the Main Venue to relax and enjoy the reception revelries. With room for tables and chairs to be set up and a full stage, a sizable crowd can gather here to share the moment, raise a toast, and hear the important speeches.
Our Gallery offers space for up to 120 reception style. Add in our multi-level patio just outside, and you'll have room for up to 225 guests.
For a more low-key reception, our Boiler Room Bar is steeped in history and is available for 50 guests.

Epic wedding at cw hudson valley
From start to finish the city winery team was absolutely incredible with zoom calls, in person meetings and helping us arrange the most perfect wedding day we could have asked for. Colleen, Kim, Sarah and the entire staff absolutely laid down their lives for us on wedding day - there was a pivot for rain in under 1 hour that they were able to transform our reception space into the ceremony of our dreams, even bringing in the chuppah from the riverfront, reshaping the restaurant reservations to host our cocktail hour and everything in between. It was nothing short of incredible to see how many people worked so hard to pull that off, we are eternally grateful. The venue itself is stunning, the nest where we stayed was perfect & there are so many incredible photo moments for pictures. CW team was absolutely unmatched and I will be reliving this day for the rest of my life thanks to them!

Beautiful day for a Wedding
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than City Winery Hudson Valley! We chose the intimate package for our wedding and got married on 10.12.2024. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was the place where we wanted to celebrate our special day. The breathtaking views and stunning industrial architecture provided the ideal backdrop for our ceremony and reception, creating a magical atmosphere that our guests are still raving about!
I have to be honest, it did not start off with the best communication from the original person in charge of my wedding at the venue. I’m not sure if she didn’t know what she was doing or just didn’t care.
Thankfully it was transferred into someone else’s care. Once Colleen and Kim took over the communication and planning, the staff at City Winery Hudson Valley were nothing short of exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, from the initial planning stages to the final send-off. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail from these two women and their team made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. We truly felt like royalty on our special day!
The reception space was elegantly decorated, with plenty of room for dancing and mingling. Our guests loved the unique layout and how everything felt both intimate and grand at the same time.
Moreover, the catering provided by City Winery Hudson Valley was phenomenal! Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the delicious food and impeccable service. The menu options were diverse and customizable, allowing us to create a dining experience that perfectly reflected our tastes.

Our June wedding
We worked with Lauren and as soon as we met her, we knew this was the place for us to get married. She is incredibly responsive and knowledgeable, giving us the perfect recommendations in the weeks leading up to the wedding. The great thing about City Winery for us was that we knew we didn’t not want to work with a raw space and bring vendors in. City Winery had it all - from the beautiful wooden farm tables to the glassware, down to the incredible food. Everything was smooth sailing from the moment we paid our deposit to the event itself and that is definitely all thanks to Lauren! On the day of the wedding, we had the unfortunate game day decision of transitioning from an outdoor ceremony to an indoor ceremony due to possibility of rain. Lauren was ON IT. When I say she hustled for us, she made it happen. Within hours, the space was transformed and we couldn’t have been happier.
The Nest (the barn Airbnb where the wedding party can get ready) is a great touch. We also ended up spending the night there versus going back to the hotel block. Definitely a great touch for those who want to walk a few steps away and pass out!
We opted for the after party at the Boiler Bar and our guests LOVED it! The chicken tenders were a hit and it was a seamless transition to keep the party going as it was downstairs from the main venue space.
If you’re looking for a cool venue that isn’t the run of the mill ballroom wedding, look no further. Lauren was incredible to work with and worked with our vision (and budget!).

Best wedding venue ever!!!
We had our wedding at City Winery Hudson Valley on 5/13/23 and could not have dreamt of a better experience—from our first time touring the venue to the day itself. The event manager Lauren is such an amazing asset to City Winery and she helped us create a vision for our wedding and then execute that vision to absolute perfection. Every single guest that attended our wedding described it as “magical” and I truly couldn’t think of a better word.
We had our ceremony outside by the waterfront, our cocktail hour in the courtyard, and our reception in the main falls venue. Each space is so beautiful and dreamy and fit our guests perfectly and the transition from one space to the next as the night went on was seamless. The restaurant remained open during our wedding, but we never would’ve known as the staff did an amazing job of keeping our event separate and private.
The food and drinks were amazing as well!
Overall I really can’t recommend City Winery enough. From the start I knew I could trust the staff to make my wedding dreams come true and they couldn’t have done a better job. Do not hesitate to consider this venue!

Best wedding ever, thanks to CWHV!
I don't even know where to start! Our October 2023 wedding at CWHV was the best day / night ever. It far surpassed anything we could've ever dreamed of — and that's due to both the beauty of the venue and the quality of the service.
From booking the venue 1.5 years in advance through to the day of our wedding, Lerika (and her team) were so responsive and accommodating. There was no question or request too big or small, and they made the planning experience so incredibly seamless.
The day of, their on-site team made us feel so special and ensured everything went off without a hitch. We had a bit of rain in the forecast, and while it could've been a whole stressful situation since we planned to have our ceremony outside, they pivoted quickly and made the rain plan even more amazing than what we originally intended. Our guests were in awe of the space and the flow and the overall beauty of the venue.
TL;DR get married here!!!
P.S. We also stayed in the guest barn on site and it was stunning! Pictures don't do it justice, and being able to stay on the property was a game
