Wow — Seminary Hill was the absolute dream wedding venue. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make our day feel personal, seamless, and truly unforgettable. The setting itself is gorgeous, but what made it exceptional was the people. Tara, Ronni, and John (along with the entire team) were so attentive, kind, and detail-oriented. They made the planning process so smooth and handled every element with care and professionalism. On the day of, everything ran perfectly, and we felt so supported the entire time. The food was phenomenal — we’re still hearing from guests about how delicious everything was (especially the mashed potatoes — apparently the best anyone’s ever had!). Our guests loved staying at the boarding house and were so well taken care of! Seminary Hill exceeded all our expectations and gave us the most perfect day imaginable.

It was the first one we toured and we knew it was the one for us. Between the incredible views, delicious food, and beautiful Mountain House, we were on cloud 9 all weekend. Huge shout out to our fantastic coordinator Stacey. She was a dream, effectively keeping everything in line while also being a funny and fun person to be around. We felt completely taken care of with her and are so grateful! Go for brunch when you tour, you wont regret it!

We got married at Seminary Hill over Labor Day weekend and 10000% would recommend them to any couple looking to have an unforgettable experience. I cannot praise them highly enough, from the food to the service to the views! The entire team went above and beyond at every step to make our guests feel comfortable, and the professionalism was only outmatched by a magical sunset. I loved that we had the whole property for the day of our wedding so we had time for our vendors to set up, our guests got a private tour of the cidery, and to move our party from the orchard to the tasting room to the tent to the bonfire to the tasting room again! The pricing is clear and transparent and this team knows what they are doing. We LOVED our wedding at Seminary Hill. It's obviously gorgeous, but it was everything else that made our experience so special. The food was delicious (and very well-priced compared to other vendors). The whole support staff was incredible, going so out of their way to do set up and make our weekend as easy as possible. Staying at the Mountain House and holding our rehearsal dinner here was a breeze with all the support from Seminary Hill. Highly recommend!

As soon as we stepped foot on this property we knew Seminary Hill was where we wanted to have our wedding. The property, views, and venue as a whole are just breathtaking. The house and the guest house on the property served as the perfect accommodations for our wedding party to stay and get ready at for the weekend. Kayce, the wedding coordinator there, truly helped make all of our wedding visions come to life. The venue and the entire Seminary Hill Team exceeded all of our expectations. We could not have picked a better place and can't thank everyone there enough!

After celebrating my daughter's weekend wedding at Seminary Hill this passed weekend, I can honestly say that the venue, the people, the accommodations and the service exceeded our expectations in every way. The jaw dropping views are not to be believed until seen. You're standing on top of the world! Not to mention, during our planning we ate at the Tasting Room restaurant which is NYC quality, delicious food and impeccable service. Kayce Drascher is SEMINARY HILL'S exclusive event planner EXTRAORDINAIRE! Without her we would have been lost!!! Every employee we worked with could not have been nicer, more attentive to our every need and on top of everything! Shout out to Bill, the property manager and to all of the staff who helped make this a weekend filled with love that we will never forget! If you are considering an event in the mountains, reach out. We made the last-minute decision to host our wedding welcome drinks at Seminary Hill and we’re so glad that we hosted the event there.

Event manager Kayce is very friendly and worked closely with us to come up with an event that worked well for both parties within a matter of weeks. Although we did not rent out the entire venue, Kayce was able to shut off a part of the indoor and outdoor venue for our party. We loved that our guests could roam inside and outside, and highly appreciated the little details like fresh flowers on each table. We offered an open bar and a simple buffet with pulled pork and a few sides–and it was a big hit. Every single person raved about the gorgeous setting, the delicious food (the corn bread was a huge hit among our international visitors), and the large variety of local ciders, beers, and wines. We could not have imagined a better start to our wedding weekend!

Last but not least, not only Kayce but all staff at Seminary Hill are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We highly recommend considering the cidery for your events and we look forward to stopping by whenever we’re in the area.

We had a Fall wedding at Seminary Hill and I couldn't recommend this venue more! The view is STUNNING. The house is perfect. The guest house is an absolute bonus (we invited close friends to stay next door). And the folks at Seminary Hill are a pleasure to work with, especially the property manager Bill. He was beyond helpful and extremely friendly. He helped us wrangle vendors before the wedding, he helped with setup and when any issues arose the day before, and he was just all-around a pleasure to work with. He made our experience so enjoyable and he was also instrumental to ensuring the weekend ran smoothly.

From the moment we stepped onto the property and saw the gorgeous views we knew there was something special about Seminary Hill. This feeling only grew across our planning process, and ended with an amazing day for our wedding. Having the property for the weekend allowed us time to gather with our family and bridal party, which was great given we were all coming from out of state. There was so much flexibility to the site to be whatever we wanted it to, and we were able to add our own touches to all aspects of the day. We absolutely cannot say enough about how helpful Bill (the property manager), Colleen and Shannon (Venue planners) were throughout the entire planning process. They returned communications quickly and were able to help us problem solve any questions we might have. They also gave amazing recommendations, and helped us with coordinating deliveries and drop offs. All of those involved with Seminary Hill were incredibly kind, and made themselves available all weekend for whatever we might need, including things we hadn’t even considered. We were married in the fall, and the views were absolutely breathtaking as a backdrop. We are still waiting on our professional pictures, but we included a few from guests so you can get a sense of what we are talking about. Our guests also loved s’mores by the firepit, and we’ve gotten so many compliments about everyone’s lovely weekend away. We can’t thank Seminary Hill enough for making our day so special, and we hope to visit again someday soon!

Having our wedding at Seminary Hill was the best decision we made! Everything about the process was so wonderful. Bill is the most kind and helpful person I have ever met. We were able to create our dream wedding. Having the venue for the weekend was so special. Our whole family was able to spend the entire weekend together. Our wedding party was able to sleep on site. The grounds are breathtaking and offer stunning views of the Delaware River and Catskills. We didn't even need too many decorations - the site is so beautiful! We loved being able to take charge and have flexibility with choice of venders. The property is huge and offers numerous options for ceremony and reception locations. Callicoon is the most charming town. Our guests loved going to the local coffee shop and walking around Main Street. Thank you so much! We will be back! :)
