My husband and I chose to work with Sheri & Sophie at Weddings by Accomplished to coordinate our wedding day. From the beginning, they were the absolute gold standard in communication, effectiveness, knowledge of vendors and the ins and outs of a chaotic wedding weekend. Throughout it all, we never felt like things were out of control. It is such a valuable thing to have in your corner when you yourself are going through something so emotional and tumultuous. The worst part of planning is trying to balance the emotion and sentimentality with all of the minutiae of communicating with business owners all collaborating on one project. Sheri & Sophie took that out of her hands immediately and put us at ease. At every step, they were there to answer any question, to provide crucial feedback, and to hold our hands through the most stressful parts. The result was the greatest day of my life that passed as seamlessly as any other day, because of their careful planning and expert guidance. Sheri was a calming voice of reason throughout the course of planning our destination wedding in Sicily. She was always available to answer any questions, to offer creative suggestions, and to support us in decision making. The ceremony as well as the reception were held in a former castle, where we utilized all the spaces. She helped to organize the flow and ensured the timeline unfolded seamlessly. Sheri parachuted in toward the end of our planning process and literally saved the day(s). She made an effort to really get to know us—and learn about our families and guests—so that she could best support us and guide us in certain decisions, while making sure everything felt authentic to who we are. I can’t imagine not having her there for the final stages of planning and immense weekend-of support and execution. She was such a natural fit with our group, my now husband’s family thought Sheri was my incredibly helpful aunt!! In the best of circumstances, a wedding is joyful, but still can be very overwhelming, and Sheri was such a steady and soothing presence. I knew that she had the logistics sorted out (and was able to make certain needed decisions day-of based on knowing my husband and I), and it really allowed us, and our families and friends, to be able to focus on each other and the wedding and enjoy the moment. We love Sheri!!!

If I hadn't just gotten married, I would marry Sheri. She is a saint, a hero, an angel. I am so glad that we got to partner with Sheri, and I had no idea that wedding planning was supposed to be this fun. From the outset of our very first meeting, it was clear that Sheri's only priority was to create a special event that felt authentic to my wife and I as a couple. She took the time to really get to know and understand us, and that was reflected in every detail of the weekend. Hiring Sheri and her counterpart, Sophie, at Weddings by Accomplished was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We had a long engagement, so we had a lot of time with Sheri and Sophie. And yet, we still felt so sad once the wedding was over that we weren’t going to see them regularly! Our relationship was not only professional but deeply personal. Our wedding was out in Montauk, making it a destination wedding at 4 hours away from our home (and 3 hours away from theirs). Sheri and Sophie still made every single site visit. We wanted a coastal/nautical theme without being over the top and Sheri and Sophie made a huge effort to make sure that they understood exactly how to bring our vision to life. We were incredibly specific about our photography, music, and most everything else, too. They were there for us as full-service planners to not only coordinate essential details such as sourcing vendors and maintaining our budget, but to also keep us calm and relaxed throughout the whole process. Our wedding day went so smoothly and the two of us were stress-free, present and joyful thanks to Sheri and Sophie. Every detail of the ceremony and reception exceeded our expectations. The two of them acted as our personal assistants from the moment we signed the contract, all the way through to the wedding night and our mini-moon after the wedding. We felt so special and supported and catered to, and so did all of our family, bridesmaids, and guests. When asked after our wedding how it went, we could say with complete honesty that it was perfect, flawless, unforgettable. Sheri and Sophie went above and beyond for Adrienne and me, and we could not have imagined planning our wedding with anyone else. It's hard to put into words how picture perfect our destination wedding was in Mexico and the credit goes entirely to Sheri at Weddings Accomplished. I have been a bridesmaid 14 times in my life and know that every wedding has some element of drama or mishap. However, from the time our wedding events started (and there were multiple), the entire process went so smoothly I could not believe it. It began with a tequila tasting on the beach with our guests to welcome them, followed by a fantastic boat day the following day, and concluding with our dream wedding.
