  One step away from fairy godmother

  Maggie is amazing. She sat with me and we talked about what i wanted. I tried on a few dresses, she was amazingly patient with me. And after i chose a beautiful dress we made a plan to cut it up and make what i wanted. My perfect 2 in 1 dress

  I am soo happy with the staff at House of Brides. I bought my Maggie Sottero in New jersey and I needed a licensed shop to tailor my one Maggie Sottero dress that meant the world to me. They were patient, provided support and allowed me to come in for several fittings to make it perfect!! Thank you House of Brides! Oh- and he prices are reasonable... I got straps tailors, my dressed hemmed and a bussell for 300. I was also able to pick Crystal hair pieces for my hair that matched my dress perfectly!!

  Thank you for being so easy to work with. Maggie's craftsmanship on the changes and alterations to the dress was great! We even had some family members take their non-wedding dress in for alterations. Thank you!!

  Thank goodness I found Maggie at House of Brides to literally ease my every anxiety. I actually found my dress in San Diego and they so generously ordered my dress 2 sizes too big! :( When I finally got the dress, it was beautiful but WAY too big. I panicked knowing my wedding was in 2 months and most places take forever to do alterations. I refused to get it done there as they told me it would be upwards of $500! Crazy and PS you ordered the wrong size. Anyways! I needed to find someone close, and very quickly. I read mixed reviews on Maggie, but something told me to go in and meet with her. She has got to be one of the sweetest ladies ever, and is incredibly talented. And she did it for less than half of the price those crazies quoted me! Two fittings and alterations later, and it fit like a glove!! I was so happy with her work. My dress had a lot of lace and a ton of layers, and everything matched up perfectly. You would never know she took almost 4 inches off each side! I ended up ordering all of my bridesmaids dresses from her, as well, and they came in very quickly. She, again, had the best deals in town. Down the street, the same exact dress was $80 more! $80!! Who are these people? Anyways.. They didn’t all fit perfectly, but that was because of the style of dress I ordered. After a quick alteration, all of my ‘maids were good to go! Two weeks before my wedding, I put my dress on again just to check everything out and would you believe I lost weight and it didn’t fit.. again!? I called Maggie almost in tears and she took me in the next day. Two days later, I had another fitting, and two days after that- my absolutely perfect, made for my body dress, was back in my closet. Just in time! My wedding day was magical and my new hubby was in awe over my bangin' dress! Thank you, Maggie, for ALL of your hard work! I don’t know what I would have done without you!

  Maggie saved my life! I bought a horrible dress from 2000 dreams bridal and was miserable. Maggie gave me an incredible deal on an off the rack dress and tailored it to perfection! I felt amazing in it and I owe it all to her!

  Maggie listened to what I wanted in a wedding dress and presented several options for me to try on. I really liked one dress but didn't purchase it right away. Maggie was very patient every time I wanted to come back in and try it on again to make sure it was the right one. She gave me a fair price for the dress and the veil. I was very satisfied with my experience.

  Maggie was absolutely awesome! She actually picked my dress. I came in with only 3 requirements. I wanted my dress to be an all lace, off white and mermaid. She pulled my fabulous Billie by David Tutera ;) The dress arrived 3-weeks early, and end up being pure perfection!! House of Brides and Tuxedo and Maggie were the best!!

  Maggie was outstanding. my dress was a hit. my phone has been ringing none stop from everyone on facebook ramping and raving about how beautiful my dress was. i had no idea whether to go with bird cage or vail and maggie new exactley what the latest trends were. she was so helpful my mom is a burn victim and she's very self concious of her skin maggie had the perfect mother of the bride dress. my new step daughter was the flower girl she had the most beautiful dress that i had never seen before and it was our exact wedding colors. maggie and her team made sure my dress fit perfect i loss weight do to the wedding stress and alterations were no problem she's a fabulous seamstress. she knows her stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Magie is the best. We got personalised attention, not available at larger wedding shops. Magie is the House of Bride's, she creates a relaxing atmosphere that all brides need. My daughter looked amazing in her wedding dress that Magie altered to her wishes, all of the wedding party also looked wonderful. Cindy

  She listens to your specific style need carefully and provides you with the dresses that best describes the style you are looking for. Even the it is a small family store she carries unique wedding gowns from a range of famous designers and her prices are very reasonable.
  I found the most beautiful and elegant dress. I saw it once and I had to buy it. I was getting compliments the whole day and still getting it when from people who sees my wedding pictures.

  Maggie was great. She definitely was able to identify the types of dresses I was interested in trying on and I acually found the "one" after trying on only 3 - 4 dresses. It was great!!
  
  Her prices seem to be arbitrarily picked and depends on her mood or maybe it depends on how her week has been going. The prices seemed to have no trend. I feel like I ended up getting a really good price since I bought my dress off the rack and she gave me her "50% Off Deal" on alterations, but apparently that only included the alterations regarding the length of the dress. It cost me a random $35 to have a bustle put on the dress, which took her 2 minutes to do.
  
  She is also a little scatter when it comes to remembering peoples names. She never got my name right or the other girls in the store trying dresses on, which I found funny, slash a little iritating after I corrected her 3 or 4 times.
  
  Overall, I was super happy with the dress and I think I got a decent deal on a Maggie Sottero -- paid $850 + alterations for a dress that normally retails at $1600.

  I have been working with Maggie at House of Brides since August 2015 for my wedding in March. She has answered the many calls from me and my bridesmaids, as well as keeping me notified on the arrival of or dresses and other pieces of wedding attire. Her prices are great and she takes the time to ensure you have everything thing to look beautiful on your wedding day!

Yes, the place is a little shabby looking, in a strip mall, and overly crowded. But the prices are great and they aren't picky about how many dresses you try on because they aren't going to really help you with them anyway.
  
  But I got a great price on my dress, which made it all worth my while. (Watch out for a "delivery" charge.) I had to follow up a few times to find out if the dress had come in but it still arrived three months before my wedding day. My dress fit me perfectly, so I'm not sure why other people are complaining. Most wedding dresses need to be altered in some way and it's always an extra charge. Luckily, my dress only needs to fit right under the bust and we got the right size for that.
  
  The alterations are actually really cheap compared to most places. My fancy double French bustle was only $45 and she was able to press the dress for just $35, tax included.
  
  If you don't need extra pampering and you're looking for a good price, this is the place to go.
