I had a themed reception and Hansen's created a great and unique cake for the wedding reception. People who told me they never eat caked liked Hansen's. It was great to work with this business

The best thing we can say about Hansen?s is they have one incredible lady working there named KATHRYN SMITH. She had the most positive attitude anyone can have, and she was patient with us, didn?t pressure us to buy anything but made us feel comfortable enough to get our cake from this Bakery. She was on top of every detail of our order including the color swatch, pick up time, and payment. One of my cousins paid for our cake, and she handled every detail with care and professionalism. On top of that the cake tasted great! We had different flavors and filling for each tier, and Hanses was one of the few Bakery?s that served German Chocolate filling! We were very pleased with the customer service and the quality of the cake. Although most of their cakes are expensive they have a pretty good selection for the lower price range cakes. I recommend Hanses to any Bride who wants a versatile selection in both cake flavor and design. And when looking for excellent customer service, ask for Kathryn Smith at the Fairfax location!

It was great working with Hansen's - they customized our beach theme wedding cake just exactly the way we wanted. We sampled cakes as well until we found the one we loved and were very pleased. Everyone absolutely loved my wedding cake as well and asked me where I got it!

My mom brought our wedding cakes with her from LA - both the brides cake and the grooms cake were from Hansen's on South Beverly Drive. The cakes were made beautifully. The prices are good but not a steal. But I think their prices are really good considering the quality of the cakes. Delicious!

Our wedding cake from Hansen's was part of our wedding package at Le Merigot. Hansen's provided us with cake tasting, which we enjoyed, as well as a choice of wedding styles which helped us decide on the kind of cake style and taste that reflected our taste and one that our guests would enjoy. Even though the final cake, the one delivered to our wedding was not the style we had ordered, this was not Hansen's fault. It was the incompetent Catering manager, Lisa Teetz, at Le Merigot, who neglected to provide the correct style of cake to Hansen's. Aside from that, we believe that Hansen's did a wonderful job fulfilling their obligation to our needs and request. We would recommend them!

I listened to my father when he told me to listen to my wife. She was right to order our cake from Hansen's Cakes. I have never had a better or more beautiful cake. Thank you for making our wedding even better than it was.

To be honest, the cake was beautiful and delicious. We ordered a stacked, 3-tiered almond cake. Of all the places where we did tastings, this was the one that had the best texture and taste.
We made the mistake, however, of bringing in a picture of what we wanted. The salesperson was uncooperative, and suggested an outrageous upcharge. It should be noted that everyone else there was polite, though. We ended up with a beautiful cake, though it was slightly different from our original idea. In the end, we were pleased with it.
So, if you want a fantastic cake, and are willing to subject yourself to possibly dealing with this salesperson, go with Hansen Cakes. Be sure, however, to specify to them NOT to put on the tacky ruffle at the bottom, which my florist thankfully cut off just in time.

The Wedding Cake was DELICIOUS and though it was very simple the cake was lovely. We would have liked to have more decoration on the cake from them, but it was just too expensive. We ended up decorating the cake with flowers.

I have used Hansens in the past and thought they were ok but nothing special. So when my maid of honor offered to pay for the cake she suggested Hansens. I was hesistant but after booking an appointment I was pleasantly surprised by how professional and easygoing they are. They respond in a timely fashion, don't try to pressure you and there tastings were just as delicious as my actual cake. If your looking for a cake that will not only look beautiful but also taste delicious Hansens in the way to go.

Hansen's Cakes was one of the easiest vendors I worked with for our wedding! I meet with them twice and they delivered a delicious and beautiful cake! I highly recommend them for all of your special occassions! I ordered my wedding cake from the Tarzana showroom and they were wonderful!

I love, love, love Hansen's Cakes, and I am so happy that we got our wedding cake from them. The only reason I didn't give them five stars across the board is because their cake showroom is a little dingy looking, and their staff isn't super-friendly. Still, once you get them warmed up to you, they're pretty nice, and it's not like you're going to be hosting your wedding in their showroom anyway. :)

Hansen's Cakes are so beautiful and delicious! We wer so lucky to have been given our wedding cake as a gift! The cakes are up there in price, but so worth it. We got so many nice compliments. It also helped that I opted for natural red roses to decorate our cake. It added a nice elegant touch.

I gave Hansen's a picture of exactly how I wanted my cake to look....While the cake did not look anything like the picture it was delicious nonetheless. Last month we ate the top layer for our anniversairy celebration and the defrosted year old cake tasted just as good as the day of the wedding...But seriously, the cake looked NOTHING like the picture I brought them.
