They make all of their cakes and baked goods with half the fat, calories, and sugar as traditional desserts, but they don't compromise on the taste. This business uses the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients to create sweets that will exceed your expectations.

This unique company was founded in 2010 by Carolyn and Prescott. It started as a small shop and quickly expanded into the bakery it is today. They serve couples all over Burbank and the Los Angeles area. They pride themselves on making your dream a reality. Half Baked Co only uses non-GMO, all-natural ingredients to create custom cakes and desserts.

Amazing Vegan Wedding Cake

We had such an amazing experience working with Half Baked for our wedding cake. We were losing hope searching for bakeries that offered delicious vegan flavors and felt defeated. My mom had mentioned Half Baked so we got a tasting box and ended up loving a few flavors. We ordered another box with our final choices and ended up settling on the vegan carrot cake. SO delicious! Never would we have thought that carrot cake would be our choice but this flavor is out of this world. Their customer service was amazing and they made everything easy and hassle free. When I came in for the second cake tasting box, Nina remembered me immediately. You can tell this is a family business and that they put time and dedication into their customers. The wedding planning process can be overwhelming and to have found a place that checked every box and with whom we felt confident in was a shinning light in the dark! Plus our cake turned out absolutely beautiful. We wanted something simple and classic that would highlight my parents wedding cake topper from 40 years ago. It turned out exactly how we wanted! Thank you guys!

Excellent service

We were admittedly a bit vague on how we wanted our cake designed (neither of us having strong opinions on it). However, Half Baked did an AMAZING job creating a beautiful, elegant cake for our wedding. A terrific cake, along with reasonable prices, a site delivery option (proving very needed day of), and a fun and filling tasting session, make Half Baked a definite recommendation.

Best cupcakes

Delicious cupcakes for me and my girls during our visit dress shopping at Lauren Elaine next door! Seriously a highlight of our trip. If I wasn’t getting married in Texas I would have them do my cake! Amazing!

The best wedding cake you'll ever have!

Our cake was one of the highlights of our wedding, with so many guests coming up to us to say it was the best they'd ever had! For our tasting, Christina and Nina provided us with a dozen mini cupcakes in their cake flavors, which were all genuinely delicious and made our choice very difficult. We ultimately went with the Honey Lavender flavor, which was unique yet delicious, but we had to order a few dozen mini cupcakes in other flavors so our guests could sample them (specifically, we recommend Chocolate Strawberry, Old Fashioned, Golden Vanilla, and Red Velvet but you truly can't go wrong). Christina and Nina were just so wonderful to work with and super responsive throughout the process, and we can’t thank them enough for helping make our day special. In fact, one of us had a birthday recently, so naturally we went back for cupcakes to celebrate!

The Best Bakery for a Wedding Cake

We used Half Baked Co for our wedding cake. We went for a cake tasting and loved all the flavors. Narrowing the options down to our favorites was extremely difficult and decided to do different flavors for each tier (3 tiers). I didn't get to try them all on the day of the wedding (unfortunate but that's just how weddings go for the bride/groom), but the piece we had was amazing. Production level was still the exact same as our tasting! Multiple guests also made a point to tell me how great the cake was. I also want to make sure I mention Nina. She was so helpful and answered all of my many many questions. She made the wedding cake ordering process so much easier for us. We will definitely be purchasing more cakes for special occasions from this bakery.

Beautiful Cake. Great Service

Half Baked met all of our expectations for quality, service, and delivery. Located in Burbank the store was easy to get to for a tasting. The staff and owner were so nice and accommodating. The cake was beautiful. The delivery on time. No issues with any aspect of the process. The prices for the cakes were competitive with the market. We ultimately picked Half Baked because the quality of the cake and the price beat out another company with similar quality but at a higher price.

Best tasting cake ever!

We absolutely LOVED our cake from half baked co!!!! Guests were texting us the week after the wedding and asking about the bakery, even guests who came from across the country were asking for when they return. Also, the team was so kind and responsive to our needs. We had such a fun time at our tasting and had such a hard time choosing all their delicious and unique flavors. I also love that they have options for different allergy needs. We can't wait to go back to their cafe at every anniversary.

Great for people with dietary restrictions

Great for people with dietary restrictions!! I have a severe nut allergy, but I had no issues working with Half Baked. The cake was delicious, beautiful, and arrived without issue. Plenty of options to choose from too. Highly recommend!!

Gorgeous and Delicious Wedding Cake

We had Half Baked Co. make our wedding cake and desserts. The #1 reason we chose them was because their cakes taste amazing. We were hunting for a chocolate cake that’s to die for, and we found one in their Death By Chocolate. Not too sweet and decadently chocolatey. We also had a vanilla and lavender tier of cake that was ALSO amazing. We asked for a 3-tier cake with a bit of a watercolor effect as decoration, and it came out absolutely gorgeous. The planning process was really smooth. Natalie helped us plan the desserts for the right number of people and they were easily able to match the colors of our wedding.

Along with the wedding cake, we ordered donuts (which were a HUGE hit), cookies and macaroons. Everything was really delicious and beautiful. The cake and desserts were delivered on time on the day of the wedding and we couldn’t be happier with the bakery we chose. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for cake and/or desserts for their event.

AMAZING experience from Start to Finish!!!

We purchased our wedding cake and it was just an amazing experience from the beginning of our initial conversation with Natalie to the cake tasting and day of wedding! The cake was everything we could have expected! Natalie was a true joy to work with as she was very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Would highly recommend to any couple getting married!
