Amazing Vegan Wedding Cake
We had such an amazing experience working with Half Baked for our wedding cake. We were losing hope searching for bakeries that offered delicious vegan flavors and felt defeated. My mom had mentioned Half Baked so we got a tasting box and ended up loving a few flavors. We ordered another box with our final choices and ended up settling on the vegan carrot cake. SO delicious! Never would we have thought that carrot cake would be our choice but this flavor is out of this world. Their customer service was amazing and they made everything easy and hassle free. When I came in for the second cake tasting box, Nina remembered me immediately. You can tell this is a family business and that they put time and dedication into their customers. The wedding planning process can be overwhelming and to have found a place that checked every box and with whom we felt confident in was a shinning light in the dark! Plus our cake turned out absolutely beautiful. We wanted something simple and classic that would highlight my parents wedding cake topper from 40 years ago. It turned out exactly how we wanted! Thank you guys! -

We were admittedly a bit vague on how we wanted our cake designed (neither of us having strong opinions on it). However, Half Baked did an AMAZING job creating a beautiful, elegant cake for our wedding. A terrific cake, along with reasonable prices, a site delivery option (proving very needed day of), and a fun and filling tasting session, make Half Baked a definite recommendation. -

Delicious cupcakes for me and my girls during our visit dress shopping at Lauren Elaine next door! Seriously a highlight of our trip. If I wasn’t getting married in Texas I would have them do my cake! Amazing! -

We absolutely LOVED our cake from half baked co!!!! Guests were texting us the week after the wedding and asking about the bakery, even guests who came from across the country were asking for when they return. Also, the team was so kind and responsive to our needs. We had such a fun time at our tasting and had such a hard time choosing all their delicious and unique flavors. I also love that they have options for different allergy needs. We can't wait to go back to their cafe at every anniversary. -

Great for people with dietary restrictions!! I have a severe nut allergy, but I had no issues working with Half Baked. The cake was delicious, beautiful, and arrived without issue. Plenty of options to choose from too. Highly recommend!! -

We had Half Baked Co. make our wedding cake and desserts. The #1 reason we chose them was because their cakes taste amazing. We were hunting for a chocolate cake that’s to die for, and we found one in their Death By Chocolate. Not too sweet and decadently chocolatey. We also had a vanilla and lavender tier of cake that was ALSO amazing. We asked for a 3-tier cake with a bit of a watercolor effect as decoration, and it came out absolutely gorgeous. The planning process was really smooth. Natalie helped us plan the desserts for the right number of people and they were easily able to match the colors of our wedding.
Along with the wedding cake, we ordered donuts (which were a HUGE hit), cookies and macaroons. Everything was really delicious and beautiful. The cake and desserts were delivered on time on the day of the wedding and we couldn’t be happier with the bakery we chose. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for cake and/or desserts for their event.

Vegan Lavender Honey!! Do I have to say more??
Half Baked Co. made a show-stopper of a cake for my wedding! I had the most amazing experience with their lovely staff members from our first correspondence via email to the last bite of vegan honey lavender cake my new husband and I savored on our wedding day! They were so accommodating of our preferences for myself and our family, making a vegan and nut-free three tiered wedding cake. Plus, we had something for everyone! The top layer was decadent Death by Chocolate, the middle layer was Honey Lavender, and the bottom was Red Velvet, all of which were delicious (and yes, I made sure my coordinator saved me and my hubby a slice of each)!! And finally, the cake was gorgeous. The brought to life our rustic elegance theme with a naked cake with gold leaf surrounded by beautiful blossoms! -

Delicious and beautiful desserts
We are so happy we decided to go with Half Baked for our wedding cake. Natalie was so friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. After having tried so many flavors of cake, we went with carrot cake (my husband doesn't even like carrot cake, but that's how good it was!) They are a bit pricier than some of their competitors, but honestly the cakes are so good and beautiful it was totally worth it. Not to mention that their cakes are healthier than other bakeries. We also ended up adding a bunch of mini cupcakes and platters. They cake was beautiful and so was the cupcake display. Thank you Natalie and thank you half baked for making our special day even more special! -

Amazing vegan wedding cake!
I must say Half Baked is the best place for vegan cakes! They made our wedding cake and it was so delicious! All of our guests commented on how good the cake was! Melissa and Natalie were also so patient in helpful every change of the way!
Definitely use half baked for all your cake needs! -

The flavors they offer are so unique and absolutely delicious, I love that they even offer sugar and gluten free options as well. They nailed the design and were a pleasure to work with. -

Loved this bakery! the staff was always friendly and helpful when we came in. Planning the cake was not even a stress factor when we were planning our wedding. They always responded quickly to my emails. And the detail on our cake was amazing. I'm sure it took them a long time to pipe the crazy design we had chosen. so glad we chose Half Baked. -

This is our second speciality cake by Half Baked, and they woo us beyond every time. We accidentally discovered them while running an errand and saw their brick and mortar bakery, and it was love at first bite with their cupcakes. And my then boyfriend always returned to get me valentines cupcakes and then my birthday cake, which was beyond impressive, I refused to cut it at my birthday party, it truly was a work of art like nothing I had ever scene before. So we made sure we continued going back to them for treats. And then when it came to our wedding, we knew who to go to! I knew what I wanted and would not waver on getting my dream cake, so we knew they could get the job done! Their creative talent is only surpassed by their delicious cakes. Yes, you have stunning aesthetic in a cake with their creative talent and the most delicious cake ever. Best part is, half the calories but full on flavor! Everyone at our wedding said our cake was the most impressive cake ever. We knew they would give it their all once again. I can not recommend this bakery enough. Not only talented but customer service to the nines! The owner is such a sweetheart, so accommodating.
This team is a must have from weddings to special events. You will not be disappointed! -

So I already love Half Baked Co. because they're my local gluten free bakery; and as I and several of our guests are gluten free, they were our top choice going into choosing a cake. Not only were they able to make an entirely gluten free cake, but they also ran with our crazy cake ideas. We were like: we want dragon scales, and they came back with: do you want them to shimmer? Um, yes please! We had other places tell us that what we wanted wasn't possible, but that was never even suggested at Half Baked. The cake tasting was amazing too - we got to pick a lot of combos to try out with mini cupcakes, and we settled on a chocolate/chocolate base, a vanilla/strawberry middle, and a chocolate/salted caramel top. And I mean, it was delicious. Everything I've ever had from Half Baked Co is amazing, but I think they went over and above with our wedding cake. Now I really want to go get some cake... -

I'm so thrilled to have found Half Baked Co! I have a variety of food sensitivities that I was worried I wouldn't be able to enjoy my wedding cake! Half Baked Co created a custom batter for me and my husband and we ordered a beautiful petite cutting cake for our reception! Reasonably priced and so delicious! My husband has no food sensitivities and he loved this cake! We are coming back to order birthday cakes, anniversary cakes, etc. Thank you! -

We love Half Baked! We discovered it, ironically enough, just months before I was diagnosed with Celiac when I was 40! Luckily, they have gluten free options a plenty so they were the 1st place we thought of when choosing a wedding cake.
Of all the gluten free bakeries nearby, they were THE most affordable. We collaborated with Natalie who was with us from day one. She is wonderful - so understanding and supportive.
We chose to do three separate cakes since GF flour tends to sink. Also, aside from Celiac me, we had several other GF and vegan guests, so having separate cakes allowed us to accommodate dietary restrictions, and it gave us multiple flavor options, too.
We wanted a fairly simple but elegant design so we could adorn the cakes with succulents and sunflowers. Half Baked's execution of our vision onto our cakes was lovely and classy. Of our three cakes, the GF spice with cream cheese was by far the best - our very favorite! We were really sad there wasn't much of it leftover. It was such a hit with all the guests, they ate it all! I don’t blame them though, it really was SO, SO good, especially for GF cake. And trust me, I ate gluten filled cake for the first 40 years of my life. I have tried all the GF ones in the almost 4 years since my diagnosis and Half Baked gluten free cakes are some of THE very best around.
There were some unfortunate issues with the other two cakes, but Half Baked assisted us thoughtfully and ultimately provided us with an ample solution.
We have loved Half Baked since we discovered them in 2016. We highly recommend them for events or anytime - especially if you need delicious gluten free options that won't break the bank! -

My wedding cake looked beautiful and exactly as I requested it to look. The bakery scheduled the delivery time based on when we wanted to serve the cake. When it came time to cut the cake, the frosting and middle of the cake were almost impossible to cut through and the cake crumbled. The center of the cake was frozen. Our catering staff was not able to use one entire layer because it was frozen and unservable. Our guests that did get cake, said that it was extremely dry, crumbly, and did not taste good. After the wedding, when I spoke with the bakery, they said that our catering staff must have placed that cake in the freezer and that was the reasoning for why it was frozen. Our venue does not have a freeze or frig onsite. After explaining that it could not be the catering staff's fault, they said that I did not schedule the time correctly for the cake to sit out long enough. The time was schedule with their recommendation. The cake was delivered at 2pm and was served at 8pm. Their responses although prompt, were not professional. They would not admit or take fault for the cake being inedible. They also would not refund me any portion of my order. They offered me 10% off my future orders, but after this experience, I will not be returning. -
