I rented the photo booth through Fairy Tale Events and was kind of skeptical about whether or not it was a good idea. I had always wanted one so i went for it. HANDS DOWN BEST DECISION I MADE!!! Chrissi went above and beyond and the attendant (i think his name was Mike) was so fun and helpful. There was never a huge line and it in no way affected the amount of ppl on the dance floor. My guests absolutely loved the photo booth. I did the highest package so we had it for 4 hours, had the guest book and the props. If you are considering doing a photo booth i encourage you to do it!!! And def. contact Fairy Tale Events!!

I was really on the fence about getting a DOC because I had already planned most of the wedding, long distance no less! After I had my bridal shower and I was much more stressed than I should have been, I decided that a DOC for the wedding was a must.

Chrissi was wonderful to work with. My wedding coincided with a new job and move and Chrissi was right there with me, making sure that I was ok. The day of the wedding, she was there from beginning to end. She made sure that my husband and I were taken care of. I was able to thoroughly enjoy my wedding and I know in large part that it was due to Chrissi.

If you are undecided about a DOC/Planner, do it! It's completely worth it and you will not regret it all. Chrissi is wonderful to work with and she has truly become a friend.

Chrissi is absolutely amazing and was invaluable to our wedding day. She was beyond a pleasure to work with, easy to get along with, thorough, attentive to detail, and helpful. Chrissi was one of my favorite vendors to work with while I planning my wedding. She was always available to my questions and concerns! She ensured that my wedding day went smoothly and handled any little issues that popped up. I would recommend her to anyone!! Shes the best!

Chrissi and Jean-Marie were the glue that held my wedding together. There were some unexpected last-minute changes and they were still able to accomodate us and roll with things. I had a 2-religion/2-ceremony wedding that had so many moving parts, there was a lot of potential for things to go wrong, but nothing did. They gave me peace of mind and to me, they were invaluable.

This was my second wedding and the venue I chose does not specialize in weddings.. Chrissi helped make that " little bar on the water" into my destination theme wedding of my dreams!! I was able to sit back and enjoy my day!!

Prior to my wedding, many, including myself, questioned the absolute necessity of a DOC. Once the day began I was certain I made the right choice. Chrissi was there in every important moment to make sure it ran smoothly. She added personal touches that I couldn't do without (a bottle of water @ the end of the aisle, my husband & I's favorite part, so necessary!). I could go on and on about how wonderful it was to work with Chrissi but this could get long! She knows exactly what she's doing! I highly recommend her :)

Fairy Tale Events of NY is great! I had the honor to work with Chrissi and her assistant, Chris, this past summer. I hired her for day of event services. Chrissi met me once before the wedding and we spent 2 hours discussing everything that needed to be done. I had a completely traditional Indian (Hindu) wedding and Chrissi took the time to understand each and every one of our rituals and customs as well as the names so that on the day of she knew exactly what was happening and when. We had 900 guests at our wedding and both sets of parents had tons of responsibilities of their own to handle that I was nervous things may get unorganized or chaotic.

If Chrissi wasn't by my side for the whole day, I think the whole day would have been a nightmare. I am a particular, detail-oriented girl, and as a bride we deserve to have EVERYTHING EXACTLY the way we want it. As I was getting my hair and make-up done Chrissi would check in from time to time and show me pictures on her phone of the set up being done for the ceremony, then for the reception, etc. She even took a picture of my husband on the horse during the Bharat (an event before the ceremony for just the groom and his family and friends). Any issues that arose throughout the day, Chrissi made sure to handle or discuss with me at a time that I felt calm and relaxed and able to handle it.

I truly mean it when I say that my wedding day was the most magical day of my life, with 900 people EVERYONE thought it would be a chaotic mess, but everything was on time, beautiful, and flowed smoothly. I absolutely believe this has a lot to do with the fact that Chrissi was by my side. It's been 3 months since I have been married and even now when I think of the day, my favorite moments are in the bridal suite getting ready with my hair and make up girls dolling me up and Chrissi checking in with funny stories of what's going on outside, pictures of the set up and my husband, and all the excitement and hype leading up to the big moment.

I recommend Chrissi 100%!

Chrissi from Fairy Tale Events was absolutely wonderful. I hired her as a Day of Coordinator for my May wedding, and it was one of the best choices I could have made.

Before the wedding, Chrissi checked in multiple times and made sure I knew that she was available for anything I needed. Most of my wedding was already planned when I hired her, and she was extremely honest with me about the services she thought I needed and what I didn't. When I met with her to give the details of my wedding day, she was extremely thorough and committed to learning everything she could about my wedding.

On the wedding day, Chrissi showed up on time and was extremely professional, making sure to get all of the important information from me up front. During the day she handled all issues that arose calmly and efficiently. There was an issue with the florist not delivering flowers to the guys, so she went early to the Church to deliver and pin them on all the guys. There was also an issue with the shuttle saying it was only making one trip when it needed to make 2, and somehow she was able to get in touch with them at 12:30 at night and fix the problem. Anything that would have been my problem to deal with the day of the wedding, she was there to handle so I did not have to worry about anything but enjoying myself. She checked in frequently to make sure everything was okay, and also made sure I was happy with all of the services provided to me by other vendors. I even had a problem with the hem on my dress being too long, and she sat there with the bridal attendant pinning up my dress for me. After the wedding, she stayed to make sure everything in the reception hall made its way home with us, and that everything was all settled.

I would highly recommend hiring Chrissi for wedding planning or day of coordinator services. Even if you are the most organized bride and have everything already planned, having someone like Chrissi there for you during the entire day is priceless.

If I could give Chrissi higher than a 5 for each of the categories above, I would!

I had a few Day of Coordinators (DOCs) who I wanted to interview, but after meeting with her, I knew I had to hire her. Although I only hired her for DOC services, she was there for any questions and any dilemmas that I had prior to the wedding. She is VERY knowledgeable and resourceful. It was helpful that I could not only count on her as a professional, but as a “regular person” who I could ask her honest and unbiased opinion.

Everyone who was around me was either getting ready or running around to take care of things; therefore, having a person to make sure the church was arranged properly, the venue was all settled, my BMs and GMs were on task, etc was very helpful. Plus, she thought of SO MANY little details that without her, I would’ve forgotten. Chrissi was so great to work with and I can truly say that if it weren't for her, my wedding day would have had a lot of bumps.

Where to begin, on how excited I was to have Chrissi as my DOC. At first I wasn't sure I wanted or needed a DOC. Then I went to a wedding, and saw the bride running around like a chicken with her head cut off, so I said oh nooooooo that will not be me on my special day :). So I decided to get a DOC. There were so many GREAT reviews about Chrissi, so I knew I wanted her. The day I met her I love her right away. I am the type of person that goes off vibes. Right away there was a vibe between Chrissi and I. I felt her honesty and her genuine love for wanting to make my process and day go smoothly and perfectly. What I love about Chrissi, she is honest. She gives her opinion and her professional experience on things such as flowers, decorations, and etc...how to make your day even more beautiful and special. She 100% for the bride and groom, and what they want. The day of my wedding she ran around like crazy making sure my vendors did exactly what I had planned and told them to do. There was a little problem with the DJ where I wanted him to be placed in the room. But Chrissi handle the problem like a pro. I would recommend her to ALL future BRIDES, she goes to BAT for you and what you want from other vendors. Also you would never know if there is a problem. because she handles everything with such grace and professionalism.

What can I say about Chrissi that so many of you haven’t already said. She was great. She has a way of calming you down when nobody else can. She saved me from passing out a few times. At one point she looked and me and said “Phyllis, Breathe!” I actually stopped breathing. I was so nervous I literally stopped breathing and nobody noticed but she saw it LOL She was on top of everything and everyone. I knew NOTHING. My mother’s dress ripped and I had no clue until the end of the night. She had a handle on every single part of the wedding. DH and I were very pleased with her professionalism. She had her game face on the entire day. If you’re thinking of getting DOC, look no further. It was great knowing she was there.

I loved working with Chrissi every step of the way. She became my go to person for all my questions and concerns especially the last few stressful months of the wedding process. If it wasnt for chrissi i dont know how my day would have gone off with all the small glitches that happened. I wish I could plan another wedding just to work with her again. I may hire her again in the future if we throw a big party since she was stellar!

when i was originally told about chrissi at fairytale, i figured if nothing else i would hire her for peace of mind, i wasnt sure how much i would give to her to control ( the wedding had turned me into a total contol freak), but after hearing all of the wonderful reviews from girls who had used her for their wedding day, my fiancee decieded that it was in mine and his best interest to hire chrissi. from day one she was above and beyond helpful, she was there to help me through out every meltdown i had, every bad experience and she was there to celebrate with me through the happiness and joy that comes in this amazing time in your life. i can not express in words how truly grateful i was to have chrissi beside me through out the wedding process and how wonderful she was the day of my wedding. the morning of my wedding started on a bad note and i was so upset, chrissi was my first phone call, she came early, calmed me down, and took control on my situation. all day, she ran around like crazy trying to maike sure i didnt know if anything went wrong or if things got worse with a crazy and out of control bridal party. my husband and I are eternally grateful, without chrissi the chaos of the day would have ruined my night, a night we planned for 2 years together. chriss is an amazing person, a truly sweet individual, she is always there when you need her to be. it was comforting to know that she was always just a phone call away.you will not be disspointed in highering fairytale events. good luck and congrats to all the future brides! enjoy your day!
