Shortly after booking a mid- to -full package Stacie we switched our date, and she was able to switch without a problem, which was great. The problem was instead of going with a rented location and tent, we went with a reception location that is very well managed. we weren't really sure we would still need her services. She also got a full time job working for a hotel and had limited time to actually meet with us.
She would check in every so often to see if we needed anything, but we didn't. I did everything myself anyway.
Perhaps we were confused, but I thought she would do I little more considering the package we booked. We ended up voiding our contract before the wedding without penalty, but had already paid most of the fee anyway.
I don't believe Stacie is still in business, but I wouldn't recommend her services to anyone as she is currently working a full time job and had limited availability "Sundays are really the only day" she can meet.

On July 3rd 2009 we have thee most "perfect" wedding at the Desmond Hotel in Albany! It wouldn't have had been that way without Stacie's services! She helped me so very much and kept everything perefectly organized! We had a wedding party of 23 not including us! She is amazing at what she does! Other vendors and our priest commented on what a great job she did!
We are so very happy we had her services she helped make our fairytale wedding come true!!!!

My name is Megan Karski. Our wedding last month was a dream come true that I didnt think would ever happen!
My entire childhood I always dreamed of having a elegant Christmas wedding. One to remember. However in between all the excitement I was running into many problems. I found that during the month of December most places are booked well in advance for corporate parties and things. In addition I found getting married around the holidays was going to cost me more than I could afford. I was determined to have a elegant classy holiday wedding. I did not want the cheesy christmas decor, nor did I want the cheesy wedding decor. I had the visions, but that was about it.
My "vendors" were family and friends of family. Although they were familiar with there tools and things, their work was more of a hobby rather than a profession. In a attempt to save money I wanted to use them, however i did not want to sacrifice quality.

While at a family get together back in July, my husbands Aunt told me about a wedding she had went to the month prior. She told me how the bride and groom ha hired a coordinator to help out. She said from a guest perspective everything was wonderful. So after a few calls to several people we found Stacie. At first I was very apprehensive. I could barely afford the wedding let along a wedding planner!

After both my husband and I met with Stacie, I new that no matter what we needed her, if this wedding was going to happen. During our 2 hr consultation (which was free) she gave me ideas, and offered solutions to the many battles I found myself fighting. She assured me that should we hire her everything would be perfect, as well as promised she could stick to our budget if not under. Sounds to good to be true right? Well thats what my husband thought. But regardless of his opinion i opened up the checkbook and gave her a deposit. From that moment on, things just worked out. I was syked!!!!

Five months later, we not only had our wedding, but a wedding that was better than I ever thought!
Stacie was creative, and tentative to our needs.
Our ceremony took place at our family church and our reception at a VFW post. My mom and sister, hated the idea of a VFW post for a reception hall, saying I would have a low class affair with out any style and elegance. But I trusted our planner. As you can see by the pictures in Stacie's portfolio, our reception was nothing but elegance, style, and class. We had a $10,000 banquet hall atmosphere on a $200 rental hall price tag! Stacie connected us to a affordable caterer who was able to prepare a traditional Christmas dinner for 100 guest under $400. Our cake was a beautiful Christmas inspired, fondant frosted cake, with strawberry filling, for under $500!!! Stacie worked one on one with our "family" vendors, making sure all knew where to be when, as well as coaching them along the way. She did the same with the wedding party, leaving know one feeling lost.
All in all our wedding was just perfect. And we came in almost $600 under budget!!!! It was a Christmas to remember!

I found a reasonably priced Wedding Planner who was worth every penny.
She did the expected wedding planner services finding vendors, making contacts, arranging meetings, and assisting at those meetings. She then went above and beyond. She was there for me at gown fittings, floral shops, cakes, etc. Stacie would stay at each one till the end to make sure I was satisfied. Her professional approach towards the vendors was exceptional. Her knowledge of what questions needed to be asked was invaluable to me in making decisions about my wedding.
Stacie's creative flair was evident in all facets of the wedding. For example, the night of the rehearsal, she was there to help me turn my fiancé’s garage into an elegant place to dine. I recommend Stacy to anyone planning their own wedding.

She was knowledgeable,professional and fun to work with! The personal attention she gave to all the tiny details, really meant a lot to us. Family and friends, enjoyed her personality, and saw how hard her assistant and her worked for us. She was right on top of things, keeping the schedule in gear, and assisting other vendors who were involved. Our guest asked where i found her and they couldn't complement her, and our celebration enough! Stacie was the only consultant i found who's prices fit into our small budget. After working with her I dont know how I would have done it with our her!
In addition, my husband and I are expecting our first child in the fall. We hope to be able to work with Stacie again in the planning of our baby shower!

I am pleased to review my wonderful wedding coordinator, Stacie. I always knew I would hire someone to help with the "day of" preparations for our wedding. What I didn’t know is that when I found Stacie I had gained an ally to work on my side and make everything UP TO the day happen also. I didn’t know that I would need so much of her advice either! I was planning a destination wedding and ALL of us would have to travel to the site in Massachusetts. Stacie was so flexible and made the long drive to meet with us TWICE before the actual wedding day. (This was still in the planning process, not what I "hired" her for.) It was completely above and beyond! All of our meetings (phone and in person) were helpful and comfortable, she gave me ideas and also helped to define what I had already set. On the day of I was able to relax and just get married which is exactly the reason I hired her in the first place. She was fantastic. If I ever need to plan a big party in MA I know exactly who I will call!

stacey was our wedding coordinator for our wedding. My wife hired her several months prior. I guess stacey offers three packages to choose from. We however needed a custom package. Stacey was great in the sense that she altered her services to fit our needs. The custom price stacey charged us, seem to be good for the services she was providing.There was not much work for stacey to do leading up to the wedding however day of there was plenty. We felt very comfortable leaving things in her hands.

For whatever reason, there seems to have been much mis communication between all parties involved. This caused a few issues the day of the wedding, mainly the set up of the reception. Stacy was great to jump in and help others out with what she could, but this caused her to neglect a few things of her own responsibility.
Overall our wedding day turned out great. A few glitches but we were pleased.

* We did not use any of Stacey's vendors, by the time we began working with her, we already had our vendors hired.

I found Stacie and Absolute Best Events on a local web site, Craigs list. When I first contacted her I was more so entertaining the idea of a wedding planner. I honestly didnt think we could afford one on our $10,000 budget.
After meeting with Stacie I was hooked! Her first impression was great. She was friendly, warm, welcoming, and very professional. I saw that her service fees were very affordable and with out taking away from the quality of her service.After several long talks and consultations we hired Stacie for her deluxe service package. I had started the planning process thinking I knew exactly what i wanted. Next thing I knew Stacie was throwing out all these creative ideas, and contacting us with tons of affordable vendors. By the time our wedding came about, it was better than i had imagined. Stacie gave us a beautiful romantic ceremony, with a fun filled elegant reception. I was stress and worry free, and had the time of my life!

Stacie Blair is one of, if not the best wedding planners ever. This was my second marriage and holy cow, was it easy. Stacie Did all the hard work so that I could relax, well try to on my wedding day. I hardly lifted a finger. She was very professional but i could talk to her freely about what i wanted. All the services she provided were incredible. I wanted a Cinderella wedding and she made it come true. My husband came in like prince charming and I came in like Cinderella. My first wedding has nothing on this, because that planner was to put it in nice terms, incompetent. (and thats being polite.) Stacie blair all the way. If I ever need a wedding done again, Lets hope not, i'm calling her again. If you are in the upstate area have her plan your wedding, you will be very happy you did.

I hired Stacie Blair to be our wedding coordinator. Sadly the wedding fell through and we are no longer getting married.
I must say however, the 8 months we worked with Stacie I was more than satisfied. Her prices fit right into our budget. She was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun. Stacie help me accomplish so much in a short time, and even helped keep my bridal party on track.When the time came to make the cancellation arrangements, Stacie was still right there by my side dealing with all the vendors so that I did not have to. She understood the pain I was in, and was very supportive.
