Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
We always view a client's wedding location to experience the lighting situations before the big day. We are experienced in low-light photography, including (but not limited to) churches & cathedrals, low-lit windows, night conditions, low-lit interiors.
Is your media preference film or digital?
The studio is 80% digital, 20% film
How many photographers do you work with?
Depending on the collection, we work with either an assistant or second photographer
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
We guarantee the photographer who was consulted with will be the photographer at the event, barring any unforseen catastrophic occurence.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We only book up to two weddings per weekend. We do not book more than one wedding per day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
We are members of PPA. Should the lead photographer become unavailable, a PPA member of similiar style and standard will be a replacement.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We bring our cameras & lenses, in addition to reflectors and light modifiers.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
We would never think of working without backup equipment!
Do you charge hourly or full day?
We charge based on collection. Please see collection commissions for details.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
We do not charge for overtime.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
With the exception of a short break for dinner, there is always at least one of us working.
Do you charge for travel?
For areas requiring hotel stay, we require $60 travel expense plus the cost of the hotel. Out of region and Internation travel, please inquire.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Proofs are ready in approximately 4 to 6 weeks depending on the season.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Initial previews are shown in a spectacular slideshow. After the slideshow, we will deliver/mail a thumbnail proof book for your easy reference. Web hosting is included in all packages.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The couple keeps their thumbnail proof album.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
We retain the exclusive copyright to all our images.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
We reserve and retain the exclusive publishing rights to our images.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Digital negatives are provided in all wedding collections. The copyright is still retained by the photographer.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Images are posted online for password secured web hosting
What kind of albums do you offer?
We offer coffee-table style luxury albums. Please come in to see samples!
When will the client get the final album?
The final album delivery depends on the type of book designed. Our albums are sent out to Italy and Japan for binding.
