Historical costumer, writer, classically trained singer, painter, dollmaker, actress . . . whew! I've been designing and building costumes for twelve years or so, but I've really been obsessed with costuming since I was five. Since then, every bit and scrap of paper, fabric, bead and bauble near me has been fair game and usually finds its way into something I'm making! I try to always be creating something, whether I am writing a new book, painting in acrylics on anything that will stand still, or trying to figure out a way to make a fabric-sculpted dragon with articulated wings . . . well, my brain doesn't let me stop moving;)

I am totally passionate about what I create, and I want every woman who wears one of my pieces to feel glam and beautiful. My pieces are all a little retro with a dash of whimsical and a soupcon of real history thrown in . . . but never boring! I love making one of a kind pieces for every bride I work with; commissions are my specialty;)
