Arielle was excellent to work with when I bought my wedding dress last fall. Despite the suspect location of their store, she made it a good experience. At the time, she graciously provided us multiple discounts for paying up front and also buying my custom veil from the store. Arielle quoted me that the alterations would be about $250 for my dress. The store recently moved to Sherman Oaks. When I went there for my fitting, I was completely blind sided by EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS in alteration costs. I felt completely taken advantage of with absolutely no recourse. When I brought up the discrepancy in price to Arielle, she said "Well we got a new seamstress." I had to return to the store two more times thereafter to get the dress fitted. The dress and alterations turned out well though my straps were too big. I would not recommend For Love Bridal to another bride given the issues we had with alterations.
