Tips and Advice
A concern Brides always have is when you fiancé does not understand how much goes into finding the right wedding dress. He doesn't seem to understand "what all the fuss is about!"

First of all, let your fiancé know the importance of finding the perfect dress. Tell him that most bridal store consultants recommend that you start setting up appointments 9-12 months before your wedding to start looking for a dress. Scheduling appointments with bridal salons to go and try on gowns can also be time consuming. Explain why it takes 9-12 months to find that perfect dress. Once you've found the dress, you want to order 6 months prior to the wedding, and then leave 2-3 months for alterations and possible shipping delays. If you decide to do custom changes on your gown, it can take even longer. Shopping for the right accessories and shoes for your dress can also be time consuming. Explain to your fiancé that after the dress arrives, you'll still need to schedule fittings, which can generally take 2-3 appointments. After your dress is taken care of, you'll also need to choose bridesmaid dresses that will complement your gown. Depending on how many bridesmaids you have, you'll need to schedule time to go with them to the bridal store to try on dresses. That can take 2-3 times before you find something as well.
