About Us

Let me tell you a little about me and my company The Perfect Day Cakes. The Perfect Day Cakes was established in 2005. When I first opened my business I thought I was following Minnesota Law by baking out of a commercial and licensed kitchen. To my surprise, I wasn't and I turned myself in to the MN Dept. of Agriculture. I was baking out of a licensed kitchen, but my business itself wasn't licensed. It was an easy fix and soon I was licensed to sell my cakes. During that time I also became a certified food handler; this ensures that I am well trained in food handeling and safety.

Since then I have been responsible for providing outstanding desserts in all parts of Minnesota and northern Iowa. I have had couples pick up their cake and drive three hours to their reception hall so they could have my wedding cake there. That tells you a little about my cake!

Besides offering over 18 cake flavors, 15 filling flavors and 8 icing flavors I also offer cheesecakes, pies, cupcakes, cookies and some chocolate work. For those of you that have allergen sensitivities or special dietary needs I also offer sugar free, dairy free, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and egg free desserts.
