How would you identify your photographic style?
My wedding photography style is photojournalistic.
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
I offer b/w, sepia, colorized b/w, sloppy borders, metallic & canvas prints and a lot more
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
all lights are welcome!
Is your media preference film or digital?
I am fully digital with cameras of 10-20 mega pixels. I shoot in RAW format so any image can be transformed to b/w and vice versa.
How many photographers do you work with?
Most of the packages I offer have two photographers at least, myself as the primary and a second associate photographer who is a full time professional like myself and is hired by me.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Absolutely. Each package I offer has me as the primary photographer.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day? Weekend?
Never more than one wedding a day and rarely photograph two events over a weekend where the wedding is the large and primary event.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day?
Yes. I am connected with a large network of professionals in the DC area that are always ready as backup, as well as on locations for destination weddings. Also, I am a member of WPPI and PPA - the largest networks for wedding photographers in the world.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
two cameras, flashes, extra backup lights and a lot of sense of humor and creativity!
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes. A third camera is always around as backup and my packages are based on two photographers - that's 4 cameras minimum on location. Same with extra lighting gear.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
There are 4 packages on my list but also an option to build your own with an à la carte menu.
If hourly, are you available for shooting overtime? If so, how much do you charge for overtime?
Yes. Additional hours on top of the packages range from $250-$300
Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party provide your meal?
Ideally, yes (I wouldn't want anyone working for ME not to eat sometime 10-12 hours straight)
How many breaks do you usually take throughout the day?
none, except a quick bite to eat during the reception's entree serving.
Do you charge for travel?
No, not in the DC area. Destination weddings are priced differently, please inquire for more information.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
In most weddings, after 24 hours the couple will be able to view all the images online, edited.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Website, thumbs + high resolution for full screen viewing
How long can the couple keep the proofs?
Forever

As the creator, the copyrights are always the photographers but I release permission to the couple to create prints and albums with no limitations
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, with permission from each individual couple
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the couple?
Yes
Will images be available for viewing on an online gallery?
Yes
What kind of albums do you offer?

4-8 weeks from the moment you approve of the album design
How long does it take to deliver a book?
the books are delivered to me when they are ready from the boutique, once I receive them I meet the couple to deliver the book. normally, a day or two after I receive the book.
