You know that commercial where they say “I love love” well that is exactly how I feel.

I love love and I believe that laughter is the best medicine.  It might be cheesy but it is true and it is why I photograph weddings.  I strive to capture those two emotions, love and laughter, in my work.   I believe in developing lasting relationships with my clients.  I aim to create a unique experience that will surpass your expectations through extra touches and fun surprises!

So why do I photograph weddings?

I love everything about them and I’ll be honest, I keep a wad of tissues in my pocket because I will cry at your wedding. The father-daughter dance does me in every time and anytime a bride starts to cry I well up right along with her. I’m very good at sharing my tissues though so don’t be afraid to ask for one!

I love to photograph the details of a wedding, the things that my brides spend months picking out and planning. I’m known to get super excited over anything handmade or vintage. I’m slightly obsessed with gorgeous dresses and if there was a channel devoted entirely to Say Yes to the Dress I would watch it constantly.

I’m a newlywed and my husband David is a Marine recently returned from Afghanistan. I missed him like crazy and am so happy to have him home again!!!  I stayed busy with my photography and lots of HGTV though. To be honest I’m a little addicted to my DVR, best invention ever!!! I live in Stafford, Virginia with my three fur babies Maxie, Sadie and Chloe. I love my girls and if you spend enough time on my blog you will be sure to hear about them. I love to scour antique stores in search of vintage cameras. I probably have half a dozen decorating my house! I’m currently pursuing my Fine Arts degree because I think no matter your field, education is important. Photography has always been a passion of mine and sometimes I miss the magic of watching a print come to life in the darkroom. I have been so blessed by God in being able to pursue my dream of being a photographer. He is guiding me along my path in life and helping me find my way.  I’m lucky to have an amazing husband who supports me and is always there to bounce ideas off of.  I love having him by my side on a wedding day and sharing in the joy of my dream!  Documenting weddings has become such a passion that I never expected. Watching two people commit to each other in front of friends, family and God makes my job the most amazing thing.
