The Emaline Ballroom is Lee's Summit's premier reception and event venue! Our beautiful interior is highlighted by elegant crown moulding and chair rails, tastefull, neutral interior, upholstered banquet chairs (no plastic here!), even the powder rooms are elegant! Our full service bar has 26 feet of beautiful maple bar top and is outfitted with top of the line bar service, for beverage catering that rivals any other faclility! We work with only the best vendors and our service and attention to detail will give you an evening to remember!
 
How does your venue determine the cost of the space?
we can do flat fees, and we also do several "packages" that can fit any taste, style and budget
 
Do you offer any special packages for rehearsal dinners?
We do offer special pricing for rehearsal dinners, both as a flat fee and as package pricing for meal, room etc.
 
Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?
We can handle rentals for any and all reception needs, from linens to china and flatware and specialty items such as retro centerpieces, accents etc. Our dance floor is permanent, inlaid hardwood so there is no need for additional rental of dance floor.
 
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
We have a notebook of vendors that we give our brides upon reserving The Emaline Ballroom. This binder is a take-home item that is filled with the best vendors from every area they will need. All of the vendors have worked in The Emaline Ballroom, so we know their work, their service and their pricing. This has proven to be a fantastic resource for our brides, and many of the vendors offer "Emaline Specials" just for our bridal clients.
 
Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?
Musicans and DJ's are welcome. If you need our help, we have resources for the very best in DJ's and live entertainment, as well as unique entertainers such as speed caricatures, majicians, comedians which are GREAT for dinner entertainment, band breaks etc. Truly something to put the "unique" in your event!
 
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
Outside beverage is allowed, with requirements as outlined in the rental agreement.
 
What restrictions (if any) on decorations?
The Emaline Ballroom usually doesn't need anything other than centerpieces, but if the guests decide to add decorations, the guidlines are outlined in our rental agreement, which can be found on our website.
 
What restrictions (if any) on noise levels?
DJ and band are not measured, but should be reasonable volume levels. On the outdoor deck, noise levels should be kept to reasonable conversation after 11:00, per city ordinance.
 
Do you offer security, if requested?
Yes, and if "hard liquor" is at the bar, security personnel are required for all times the bar is open.
 
Can you provide a coat check?
if requested by the renter. We have a coat closet that is available to all guests for their self-service however.

Our bathrooms are elegantly appointed and very nice.
