I interviewed a number of wedding planners, and knew at our first meeting that Cheryl was the perfect match for me. She listened to me and my ideas, and took those to start creating a cohesive vision--our wedding was truly a reflection of my husband and I, nothing cookie-cutter, and so many special touches.
Technically, Cheryl was an EXPERT coordinator. She was great at combing through tons of vendors to suggest the 2 or 3 best in each category, and letting me make the last call--and all of them were great value and quality. Our wedding wasn't a local NYC wedding, and we had vendors coming in from several different locations. All the vendors were coordinated perfectly, and I didn't have to worry about a thing! There were some parts of my wedding I really wanted to be involved in (dresses, invites, food, and ceremony music), and Cheryl let me run with those as long as I wanted to...and other things I asked her to handle entirely. Everything blended beautifully. I felt involved and in control, but not overwhelmed.
Cheryl has a great assistant and you can always reach their office (even called me on her vacation to make sure things ran smoothly!), she has great coordination skills, brings great vendors to your team, and takes YOUR vision to make your wedding day beautiful. I'm so glad Cheryl planned our wedding!!
