Sisters Susan and Valerie started Artistic Veil Design Studio in order to provide the highest quality hand-sewn couture bridal veils available. They have since expanded to include hair ornaments, evening wraps and jewelry. Swarovski crystals & rhinestones, freshwater pearls and 100% silk double faced satin ribbon and thread embellish the finest quality bridal illusion, Russian and French veiling available.

Susan, the primary designer, has a degree in Fashion Design with a concentration in Bridal Fashion and has been making and altering bridal gowns and accessories for years.

Valerie, who is also the author of children’s books, is the business end of the team and manages to do some designing of her own. The studio where they brainstorm their designs is in Port Charlotte, Florida.

They enjoy their creative freedom with designs from the traditional to the modern bubble and birdcage styles. Any design challenge is gladly accepted. The fun and joy of working together is reflected in the quality and style of the veils they produce.
