Before I started looking for dresses, I saw a dress on Instagram (“Mishell” by Dany Tabet, a less well-known and rarely stocked designer), and knew immediately that I had to try it on, along with several other of his designs. Unfortunately, no store within driving distance to me carried the dress that had stolen my heart. I contacted The Dress Theory, which did carry a few Dany Tabet dresses. They confirmed that none of the three dresses I was interested in were in stock in their store, but immediately suggested that they could have samples of all three delivered to the store directly from the designer for me to try on. I ended up visiting 4 other bridal shops in two states before my appointment at the Dress Theory. As soon as I walked in, the dresses they had delivered for me to try were hanging at the front along with the other Dany Tabet dresses they do regularly stock. I was so happy to try on dresses that finally made me feel like a bridal version of myself!!! After I knew Mishell was my dress but before I put it on for the last time to say yes, they even let me play dress-up in a few of their more unique dresses so my dress shopping experience could last just a little bit longer! I can’t thank the girls at The Dress Theory enough for their incredible service, for tracking down my dream dress for me to try on and eventually order, for styling me with a beautiful Sara Gabriel veil, and for making me feel so celebrated during this process. I couldn’t have felt more beautiful on my wedding day thanks to them.

This is the best place in Nashville to get your wedding dress. The staff was incredibly friendly and stayed right within my budget, and the selection is incredible, ranging from quite classic to very edgy and bohemian.

The Dress Theory was the first bridal boutique I visited and I couldn't have chosen a better way to start. Camille took the time to get to know me, my party and my vision for the wedding. She immediately made me feel comfortable and did a great job reading my reactions to each dress, helping me feel confident in my favorite. Additionally, the boutique is beautiful and very private - there was actually another bride in the other dressing room, and we had no idea until we saw her leave! The Dress Theory Nashville was my FIFTH wedding dress appointment. I felt so comfortable, bridal and calm while trying on dresses, thanks to Constance! I can't believe the experience I had at The Dress Theory- it blew every other boutique out of the water. I am so thankful to have found my dress and I cannot wait to go back to pick it up!

Very personal and special experience searching for the perfect dress. They had an amazing selection of designers that were not you typical poofy white wedding dresses. I ended up with Claire Pettibone's Kristene, which wasn't cheap, but was so incredibly lovely. I felt like the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day! The ladies at The Dress Theory were also very helpful and understanding when I was not 100% happy with my dress when it arrived in the mail. They reassured me and everything ended up just fine.

I had my heart set on a dream dress that I found online that was WAAAY out of my price range. I knew that The Dress Theory carried the designer of the dress, so I thought it might be worth it to see what they had in their store. I was a bride on a budget, and I was already a little exhausted from looking high and low for dresses that were similar to the one I fell in love with -- I was afraid that The Dress Theory wouldn't have what I was looking for... And WOW was I wrong! Gianna was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I showed her my dream dress and explained my dilemma. She never showed me gowns that were out of my price range, and she was able to show me several beautiful gowns that I liked a lot -- but she blew me away when she pulled out a skirt from their racks that was the EXACT skirt from my dream dress, for less than half the price of my original dream dress. Gianna encouraged me to find a top to go with the skirt and then come back in a try it on in the store. I ended up finding a lovely lace crop top that matched the skirt perfectly. Gianna was super accommodating and let me come in to try on the full ensemble a few more times. I never felt pressured or intimidated in the store. It has a very elegant yet homey atmosphere.

What a wonderful shopping experience! Gianna was incredibly sweet and very helpful in finding my dress! She was honest about how dresses looked on me, observant to how I was responding to each dress and she made sure that we stayed within my budget. My visit ended with a celebratory happy dance and a huge smile. I have already reccomended The Dress Theory to many of my friends and will continue to do so in the future. They are truly the best of the best!

My experience working with the ladies at The Dress Theory was absolutely the best experience I could've imagined for finding a wedding gown. All of the dresses are dreamy and the shop is the cutest place (probably ever). I worked with Gianna who has been tremendously helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process, and her energy is exactly what I've needed. I'm so grateful for her help and for making my wedding dress experience the most fun part of wedding planning.
