Metropolitan at The 9
Kicking off our list of downtown Cleveland wedding venues is Metropolitan at The 9, which is a great location if you want a 1920s, speakeasy vibe for your wedding reception. Perhaps the coolest features about this location are the 100-year-old bank vaults below the building. The vaults are part of swanky lounge area that makes a great space for your cocktail hour, reception or wedding photos. Metropolitan at The 9 also has a grand ballroom and an outdoor patio (with Cleveland skyline views) for couples who prefer more traditional spaces. Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland Downtown

The venue’s dining room seats up to 120 guests and features floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a view of Lake Erie and the east bank. Lago also has an outdoor patio to accommodate smaller groups of 80 people or less. Out-of-town guests can stay at the nearby Aloft Cleveland Downtown, a chic hotel that offers room blocks for weddings and is one of Lago’s partner properties.

Describing itself as a “raw event space,” this industrial wedding venue in Cleveland, Ohio is ready to be customized entirely to your liking. RED Space is a spacious, blank slate party center between downtown and St. Clair Superior, and about 10 minutes from other attractions like the Cleveland Botanical Garden and Cleveland Museum of Natural History. This cool northeast Ohio venue is perfect if you love urban details — think polished concrete floors, factory windows, and exposed plumbing pipes.
