Metropolitan at The 9

I cannot even begin to describe how incredible our experience was getting married at the Metropolitan at the 9’s. From start to finish, the attention to detail and care that Kennedy and the entire 9’s team provided were truly otherworldly. They went above and beyond in every sense to ensure we had the most perfect weekend imaginable! For example, during our reception I mentioned feeling a bit sleepy, and Kennedy immediately offered me a cappuccino or an espresso martini (or both!). There were a million other moments and details like these made us feel so special and taken care of—the staff were all so sweet, thoughtful, and genuinely dedicated to making sure we had the best day ever.

To add a bit of context, my new husband and I live in Ireland, so planning a wedding with an 8-hour time difference in the States could have been a challenge. However, Kennedy and the 9’s team made the entire process so easy and seamless. You'd never know there was any time difference at all—Kennedy was always there with a fast, kind, and helpful response to all the questions we had no matter the time or day. She also coordinated and took care of all the vendor communications during the week of the wedding to ensure that everything flowed perfectly on our big day!

We seriously felt like royalty throughout the entire week. If I could give 10 stars out of 5, I would! If you're reading this and haven't chosen a venue yet, book the 9’s now—it will be the best decision you'll ever make! We had guests traveling in from all over the country, and we’re STILL hearing about how fun and amazing our wedding at the 9’s was. We had so many people say our wedding at the 9’s was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to, and everyone couldn't stop talking about the delicious food! (The amazing food gets mentioned in every single review for a reason—it's SERIOUSLY some of the best you and your guests will ever eat).

All the staff were so kind and helpful, making our guests feel welcome and well taken care of, especially since many of them were visiting Cleveland for the first time.

I can't recommend Kennedy, the 9’s staff, and the venue itself enough. We couldn't be happier with how perfect our wedding week was, and we'll be forever grateful to the wonderful team at the 9’s. We can't wait to visit for our anniversary next year!

Metropolitan at the 9 was an outstanding wedding venue. From the venue itself, to the valet, front desk workers, bar tenders, cleaning and kitchen staff, food (thanks, Chef Jeffrey!!!) everything was absolutely wonderful. The employees were beyond nice, helpful, and congratulatory. I cant say enough good things about our coordinator Allie Hippler. My wedding literally would have fallen apart without her. My outside-hired coordinator dropped the ball all weekend but Allie, along with my other vendors, were there to pick up the slack. Allie was so upbeat all the time and answered every single one of our thousand questions before the big day and made sure the day itself went smoothly (again, despite its hiccups). Truly do not hesitate booking the 9 for your wedding!!!

We had an amazing time at this hotel for our anniversary! Heather at the Haven and Desmond took really good care of us. Thank you for such a lovely experience!!

All I can say is The Metropolitan at The 9 does hospitality right! They blew us away in every aspect of our wedding. Sierra Piazza, their special event coordinator, is so sweet and incredible to work with. Her attention to detail is amazing and made planning a wedding from the other side of the country easy. My husband and I love bourbon. Russ and David worked with us to create a custom barrel aged cocktail as our signature sip. It was so incredibly cool and one of the best cocktails I've ever had! The entire staff is fantastic. Everyone was always super helpful and accommodating, we truly felt like royalty the whole weekend.
The 9 is an amazing place for pictures! We got city-scape pictures on the rooftop, awesome vintage-esque pictures in The Vault, and some really pretty shots in the Rotunda (3 totally different vibes all without leaving the hotel!) We had our ceremony and reception in the Mint Ballroom, and in between, the cocktail hour was in The Vault while they completely transformed the Ballroom. The few of us even went up to the Azure Rooftop bar at the end of the night to keep the party going. Also, the food was incredible! Everything was great when we came in for our tasting, but what impressed me the most is that the quality was just as great the night of the wedding when they served almost 200 of us. We heard compliments from our guests all night long about EVERYTHING. (Our family and friends still bring up how awesome everything was over a month later.) Thank you all for everything. I'm so happy we had our wedding at The 9, I couldn't have dreamed up a more perfect night!

There are so many unique spaces to incorporate into your big day, and each space looked beautiful on our wedding day. Sierra was also fantastic to work with and the 9 is super flexible, which was a big plus--it didn't feel like a wedding factory.

We recently had our wedding reception at Metropolitan at The 9. Sierra Piazza, the events manager, was incredible to work with. She was very responsive and tried her best to accommodate all of my needs / questions. We had our cocktail hour in the Vault, followed by our reception in the Mint Ballroom. We had an area reserved on the rooftop (Azure) for an after party. Everything was perfect. The food and drink options are much higher quality than similar price points in the downtown Cleveland area. Overnight valet parking was expensive, however, we did have a discounted daily rate for guests of our wedding. This space had so much character and the service was top notch.

By far the best venues in Cleveland.... Not only was everything perfect for the wedding and reception but every detail was thought of for the entire weekend. My guest can not stop talking about how well they were treated by everyone at the 9. The venue is flexible and easy to work with.... I highly recommend this venue for any function... Our Wedding was beyond perfect... Thank you

The 9 for a flawless execution on your big day!

From the calls and prep going into the planning (which were many since I was planning from Chicago), to the wedding eve surprise champagne, to the day-of morning text getting us excited for the day, and finally to the prompt note after the celebration, Samantha - the planner at the 9, attention to detail goes above and beyond. Those details made me, as the Bride, feel calm and confident and confirmed that they genuinely cared about our big day!


I was also blown away by the staffs professionalism, can-do attitude, responsiveness, anticipation of needs and problem solving skills. They gave the discounted room rate to my guests who booked last minute, accommodated all needs, and were so easy to work with! Not to mention that the venue is: -walking distance from everything downtown - has stunning photo opportunities inside (making rain okay) - The Vault makes for a killer cocktail hour. Instead of standing awkwardly at tall tables, my guests got to check out The Vaults many rooms - Only one wedding at a time occurs, unlike some venues - Amazing food - Large Rooms - A rooftop bar, movie theater, gym and grocery store all inside

Our stay at the 9 was great! We stayed the night before and night of our wedding. I had a king suite and it was perfect size for my groomsman and I to get ready the morning of the wedding. The staff was super helpful and always was willing to lend a hand or answer a question. The wedding coordinator went out of her way to see if we could get on the roof for our private reveal, even though it was out of season and our pictures turned out amazing! We ordered room service late after we got back from our wedding and all the food was great! I look forward to staying here again in he near future!
