We’ve been a bit of both. We decided on an industrial style renovated barn venue with a large guest count but he’s taking my name and we are going with dark moody fall colors and brewing our own beer and wines

A little mix of both! Some traditions we just can’t get behind and we like to mix it up a little 🙂

I am a traditional bride, but I don’t have “traditional money.” I can afford what I have, but I can’t just spent unwisely. My wedding will be non-traditional, so I guess I’m modern. It allows for more flexibility, and I don’t have to play by the rules. Couples can certainly do whatever they want, but I feel like modern brides are less bogged down by etiquette and trifles.

Definitely not. I generally take what is traditional and then ask myself how I can flip it. Like a rectangular cake instead of a round one, a lunaria bouquet instead of flowers, no bridal party. Weddings are lovely, but the traditions can be boring and traditional after you've been to a few, IMO.

We're modern all the way as we are far from traditional. If it weren't for my Mom being kinda old school, we'd be all mod. But I love the traditional things she's brought to my attention which we've kept.
