I cannot say enough good things about this venue - they are a dream come true! We came to Kiana about a year before the wedding with a 2-ceremony vision. Pam, Leslie, and the Kiana team gave us a tour and came back to us with a reasonable plan and quote. They were willing to set up the dining room twice, the wedding ceremony chairs twice, with a quick clean up in between ceremonies! Additionally, they had worked with our planner before and had a good relationship. The space itself is gorgeous. The flowers, the water, the garden, just amazing! There were seals playing and eagles soaring throughout the day. The fact that this is a private property that only hosts one wedding at a time was also something that I found really special and helpful. There is no chance of random people poking their heads in or running into another wedding - the venue is yours for your day, this was really important to us. The food at Kiana is also great :) We wanted to serve a traditional indian/nepali lunch after our first ceremony, and Kiana's chef, Cesar, learned the recipes and cooked the dishes himself!! We had a tasting a couple months before the ceremony with some minor notes and the lunch on the wedding itself came out perfect! They even accommodated some new appetizer recipes for cocktail hour! The dinner was great, and the bar lines were manageable (something we had asked them to be mindful of).

If you're wanting a wedding in the woods and something affordable, this is the venue for you! I was timid at first since it was a state park and it seemed like a lot of work. It was so easy to have a wedding here! We rented chairs to up the class a bit and hired an amazing caterer that know how to throw weddings here. Ambrosia catering is the way to go. Our DJ, was not as familiar with the venue and that was disappointing and did not go well at all. But Ambrosia catering in Bremerton is the way to go since they have so much experience there. You will need to bring in everything and the venue does not provide a lot for the day. They will not reach out to you until a week before your wedding so if you are okay with that, then this is for you! If you're wanting a full on woodsy wedding like in Twilight, this is definitely for you.

From the moment my husband and I drove around the venue, we were in love. Of course, we tempered our excitement and attempted to be objective when receiving the tour from Kevin and Denise. When my husband and I got back in the car, after the tour, we both immediately stated this was the one. Now we were responsible and slept on it before officially contacting Denise and Kevin to schedule our wedding. The venue itself is beautiful. Denise and Kevin run the whole farm and garden by themselves and I don't know how they do it. The gardens are their own wonderland, beautiful blooms and so many varieties. The ceremony space was perfect, with an arbor decorating the start of the aisle and the ceremony area itself. One of my favorite locations, the forest area with a beautiful ambiance that is removed from the Reception Area and Ceremony space (a great place for the couple to go after the ceremony). My husband and I toured a lot of venues and we struggled with the overall vibes most of them had. Most venues felt very limiting, only allowing set up late in the morning and expecting everything to be torn down and put away before 10. With this venue, we had access to it from Friday afternoon to Sunday at noon. This gave us time to set up the day before, early morning the day of, and worry about the larger tear down/clean up on Sunday. Even further, Denise and Kevin were very flexible and allowed us to drop decor/supplies off the week of the wedding. This helped lower our stress levels as we didn’t have to make multiple trips in one day. Every time I would go to the venue, from dropping off payments to showing a family member the venue, I felt welcomed. Either Denise or Kevin was always there to greet me, answer any questions, and have a good chat. Another great part of the venue, you can purchase the flowers from the farm. Denise grows all her flowers and will work with you on your design/color scheme. Denise is so talented and I paid for her to design my bouquet, which is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I bought buckets of flowers and greenery from her as well and had so much fun making my bridesmaids bouquets. I absolutely loved her whimsical bouquet! They also have an AirBNB on the farm. My bridesmaids and I had a blast the night before the wedding spending time together in this house. It was perfect for the night of the wedding, when my husband and I were exhausted… we had a house seconds from the Reception to crash at. Closer to the wedding date, I had had a very stressful week and was just stopping by to drop off a payment. Denise was there and chatted with me and walked me through her garden. She so very kindly had me grab shears and a jar and let me cut a bouquet to take home with me. I can’t tell you how much that made my week. And that’s just a small representation of who Kevin and Denise are. They felt like long lost friends, not vendors watching over your shoulder. I could always reach out with questions to Kevin and he would answer in less than 20 minutes. He was always so patient and gave great ideas during the planning phase. Kevin and Denise are the perfect team! Denise was so sweet, she went out of her way to decorate the forest arbor free of charge. And let me tell you, she made it into a whimsical forest fairyland. I absolutely adored her decorations and it was a surprise I got to walk into after the ceremony. You will never get that special touch and thoughtful gesture from other venues. I will be forever grateful to them both for making our wedding perfect and for the amazing generosity/kindness. Thank you both so much. If you are looking for a one of a kind venue, look no further!
