Ray's Catering

Ray's was the only venue we even considered for our wedding. I knew that there were no other venues quite like it and our families have special memories at the restaurant. From the very beginning, working with Hannah was so easy. Ray's knows how to throw a party and they have so much included in their wedding package. Hannah was so patient with us, always quickly responding to emails and answering our many questions even though I know it was a super busy time for them. They were flexible with us even when we had to change our wedding day. We loved having the indoor/outdoor space with that cool ocean breeze and can't even emphasize how breathtaking the view is. All of our guests were blown away by how beautiful the setting was. It feels quintessentially PNW which is just what we wanted. On the wedding day every detail was flawless. Hannah worked with my coordinator to make sure everything was just how we wanted. All the staff were professional and kind and the food was INCREDIBLE. We loved the salmon and the beef and feel like the price for a plated dinner was very reasonable considering the large portions and great quality food. So often wedding food feels like mass produced cafeteria food, but this felt like we were eating at a 5 star restaurant and our guests were thrilled. The bartender was also wonderful, making tasty cocktails and we appreciated their beer and wine selection. Ray's was also very thoughtful about COVID and had protocols in place that made us feel safe and comfortable. Overall, if you're looking for a beautiful setting, professional staff that really know what they're doing, an amazing indoor/outdoor set up, and a low stress venue, this is for you.

Pam was such a joy to work with as an event coordinator. She quickly answered all of our questions, helped us with creating a menu, and helped the ceremony run smoothly. Would highly recommend. Also, the venue and food was amazing!

Ray's was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding! It was gorgeous and the staff was amazing to work with. Paula was our coordinator and she made our wedding day easy and super fun!

The team at Ray's is OUTSTANDING. We chose the venue because it's where my now husband and I had our first date - and also because the pricing couldn't be beat for what we wanted. Ray's provided a no-fuss experience for us. They took care of everything - from flowers and the gorgeous view, first-class food and drink, to attentive and fun servers, plus a straight-shooting day-of coordinator. Ray's went above and beyond!

Arranging the venue was easy and straightforward. The open house at the beginning of the season allowed us to try a number of different dishes, meet different vendors, and ask questions -- while not having someone hovering over our shoulders so that we could be honest about what we liked and didn't. Amanda, our contact and day-of coordinator, was incredibly responsive and happy to answer our questions along the way. She was also very patient during our walk-through and kept everything organized so that we knew what to expect.

The day of the wedding Amanda and Kenzee, the server lead/banquet captain, were SO great. My whole family arrived before our scheduled time to set up. The entire team was super accommodating and worked around the hoard of people. My dad even made an observation about some bird excrement on the deck, not thinking anything of it, but Kenzee was out there a minute later getting it cleaned up. Talk about service - what a champ!

Everything came together for an unforgettable day. People talked about how superb the food was, commented on the great service, and loved the view and setting. Couldn't be happier with our choice. Thanks, Amanda, Kenzee and team at Ray's - you rock!

The food was amazing and the venue was perfect for our rehearsal dinner! The space they had available worked really well for the amount of family we had in attendance.

We love Ray's Northwest Room! My husband & I had our ceremony and our reception there. We were looking for a place in Seattle with a beautiful view, both indoor & outdoor spaces due to August heat, something in our price point of course, great food, and a venue that came with more than just the walls. Ray's fit the bill perfectly! I didn't have to deal with a caterer! or rentals of any sort ! or a florist! And it's totally separate from the restaurant. Thank you, Thank you! !

Ray's gives you a lengthy form to fill out with all the info of what you want. We went with the best buffet they had available, lots of different wine selections, a dance floor, extra time in the space, and used their available flowers. We set up the room the way they had their open house set up. It worked out perfectly! The whole space looked gorgeous. There is also a convenient little bridal space in the back room to put your stuff & do touch ups and/or hide.

Rebecca was our assigned wedding coordinator and she is completely amazing. She dealt with 10 months of our emails, phone calls, and visits totally professionally with top notch service. She also has super fast response time. The whole staff the night of the wedding was great too. The food & drinks were flowing all night, and the place stayed pretty well cleaned up for 50 people partying in there.

I highly recommend Ray's. We had the perfect wedding night there. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Mother Nature gave us a pink sunset and a sea lion that evening too! A+

My husband and I hosted our Rehearsal Dinner at Ray's Cafe. I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience.

I worked with both Rebecca Lee and Emmett Niland. My husband and I toured the space early on in the process and were unsure of how much room we actually wanted. By the time that we decided we wanted the whole private dining area (Fireside room + Top Deck), the cost had gone up. (I totally understand forecasting changes.) I reached out to Rebecca and told her that that the increase in cost was not within our budget and she worked with us to help bring the cost within our budget. I was so grateful that she was willing to talk through everything with us.

A month before the event, Rebecca and I went through all of the details to make sure that my husband and I knew what Ray's needed from us and when. She followed up on our menu and was able to provide recommendations for passed appetizers (vs stationary) and even accommodated a last minute request to come in earlier than originally contracted for. We found out last minute that our rehearsal was going to end earlier than anticipated. Rebecca and Emmett ensured that everything was set up before we arrived.

Finalizing the menu with Emmett was a breeze. He was able to accommodate off menu appetizers (mini crab cakes - so tasty!) as well as appetizers from both the Cafe and Boathouse menu (they have separate kitchens).

Emmett was our during event contact, but Rebecca also made herself available. Emmett introduced himself as soon as we walked in (we did our initial walk through with Rebecca only). He personally made sure that both my husband and I were able to enjoy our appetizers and entrees and saw to it that we both had drinks when we wanted them. He quickly was able to tell us where we were in our budget ensuring that we didn't go over. I really appreciated that attention to detail. Emmett also helped our party transition seamlessly to the bar area after our event was over. I highly recommend.

Our wedding ceremony and reception were both perfect thanks to the great staff and location at Ray's!

We had to plan the wedding long distance since we live out of state, but my husband's family lives in the Seattle area. I was worried about having to plan everything from so far away, but everything worked out great! Our day was flawless and we will have happy memories for the rest of our lives because of it.

Andrea is so kind and such a great person to have on my side while planning the wedding. From the very beginning to the end she was always quick to reply and never once seemed irritated or annoyed at my questions (and I had a lot of them). Phyllis filled in when Andrea was out and she was also very responsive and kind. I cannot thank Andrea and her team at Ray’s for all of the help and great service they provided us on our special day.

We had a small ceremony (20 people) and the space was perfect for a wedding our size. Everyone was raving out how great the food was that night and how perfect the setting is for a wedding. A seal even popped his head up during our reception, which my family from Minnesota really enjoyed seeing. We had perfect weather and a gorgeous sunset.

I cannot recommend Ray’s enough! Fantastic service, food, and location for a reasonable price!

We are so pleased that we selected Ray's Boathouse for our wedding reception. It was a perfect event on a perfect day in a perfect place! The food was outstanding! The event staff was delightful to work with both during the planning and the actual event. They were extremely organized, very professional, meticulously accommodating and they made sure that every need was taken care of.

Instead of being one of the first to leave, we were almost the last the leave. We didn't want our perfect day to end!

We thank you for making the most important day of our lives so incredibly wonderful!

EASY, SIMPLE, YUMMY and BEAUTIFUL!

EASY & SIMPLE - They do everything! I was considering doing a "backyard wedding" and am SO glad that I went with Ray's. Really the only things I needed to arrange were the officiant (which they recommended) and the photographer. I did end up having a small band play the ceremony but they have an iPod/iPhone dock so you can plug in your own music too. Prices were super reasonable compared to other venues that offer such easy packages.

YUMMY - We had a brunch buffet which was delicious. I heard lots of compliments on it. We even took the leftovers and munched on them later! They packaged all the leftovers for us. The staff was incredibly attentive and super friendly.

BEAUTIFUL - You really can't beat the location. SO gorgeous with the water backdrop. We did pictures at Golden Gardens which is just right down the road. It was really sunny for our ceremony but they do have a backup plan in case of rain - which in Seattle is a must!
