The historic Manor House, perched overlooking Puget Sound's Rich Passage, has been transformed into Bainbridge Island's premier event space and is the only water view venue on the Island. *The venue fee is for 10 hours, and covers the cost of tables, chairs, standard linens, flatware, stemware, event spaces for the rehearsal, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. This fee provides almost everything outside of the food and beverage. This fee is subject to Washington State sales tax and service charge.

What is included with the venue rental?

• Tables: round 60” & 8 ‘ rectangle for dinner seating or high top tables for cocktail style events.
• Linens: black and white

Do we need an Event Planner or Day of Coordinator?

We require an Event Planner/Day of Coordinator for all weddings with over 50 guests. We highly recommend the use of a planner or another resource for all timing, decor, and vendor questions for weddings with less than 50 guests. Our Events team is happy to provide a list of frequent vendors as a resource.

Do we need a DJ?

The Manor House is equipped with a sound system that supports ambient music, but we recommend renting microphones or contracting a DJ for all other sound or music needs.

Does the Manor House provide transportation to and from the ferry?

We can provide transportation to and from the ferry for any wedding guest staying at The Inn at Pleasant Beach Village.

How do we book Inn rooms for our wedding guests?

Rooms are reserved separately from the Manor House. Please contact Lydia@pleasantbeachvillage for all questions regarding the Inn.

Does the Manor House have a room for couples to get ready?

There is an upstairs Loft available for couples. There is no door on the Loft, however there is a mirror, coat stand, and balcony with one of the best views of the Bay.

Does the Manor House allow decorations?

Yes! You are more than welcome to decorate any venue at Pleasant Beach village. We ask that there are no marks, damage, or holes done to the property. This includes no removal or displacement of Pleasant Beach Property. Damage may result in additional charges. Please let us know what you have planned.

Are there any restrictions for decorating?

We want to support your vision and welcome a variety of decor. However, the following items are prohibited:

• Glitter
• Fake flower petals
• Rice
• Confetti

Anyone decorating must provide their own materials (scissors, fasteners, etc.) and equipment (including ladders).

Can we have candles?

Please feel free to customize your ambience with candles. Please make sure all candles are placed in votives and any tall tapered candles need to be in glass hurricane covers. Any wax dripped on table linens will result in replacement charges.

When do we set up and take down decorations?
Decorations must be put up within the rental period unless pre-arranged with the events team. All decorations need to be taken down at the end of the event during clean-up time and removed from the property that evening. A disposal fee may be added for items left behind (including floral arrangements).

What are your beverage packages?

The Manor House does not have beverage packages. We will provide an estimate in the initial proposal, but the final beverage fees are based on consumption. We will tally up all open bottles and drinks consumed at the end of your event and send an invoice the following day.

MICRO-WEDDINGS

Do you have any specials for micro weddings?

There are several options for small/micro weddings of under 25 guests. During the warmer months the ceremony can be held on the terrace or fireside patio. You also have the option of utilizing the Library or Loft. Dinner is often held in another adjacent room leaving the Dining room for cocktail hour and dancing. We also offer a venu special for small weddings. If you book a wedding on a weekday (Monday through Thursday) you will receive a 6 hour rental of the Manor House for the price of 4 hours.

Does the Manor House provide help planning and decorating for small weddings?

Our staff will set-up the tables, chairs, but couples are responsible for all decorations (set-up and removal). We do not offer event planning services and recommend a day-of coordinator for all weddings.
