I cannot explain how happy I am that we decided to use Kiana Lodge as our venue for our wedding day. They exceeded expectation in every important category. I'll briefly touch on our most important factors for choosing a venue in our opinion: Food, Venue Itself, Service, Price:Sent on 07/14/2019
FOOD: My biggest worry was that we would spend thousands on food that would be mediocre at best because venues where they do their own catering don't HAVE to be great, since they have no competition and people MUST use them. Before we signed the contract, we met with the Chef who did a private tasting for my fiance and myself, which really comforted us in knowing that the food was actually delicious! We also wanted to do something different than the normal "salmon or steak" platter. I was able to customize the entire menu to food that we love, and when the day came, we heard from so many guests how amazing all of the food was, which is true -- I scarfed down the food in a couple minutes but I was SO HAPPY that the food was JUST AS AMAZING as the private tasting. Kudos to the chef and servers.
VENUE ITSELF: Pictures don't do it justice for reals. I almost didn't even choose to look at the venue because it didn't give me the intimate romantic feels, and the perfect grass and perfect potted plants kind of took away from the natural beauty that it actually exudes. Visit the place. It is very romantic, intimate, with a perfect mix of beach, exotic, and also very customizable to create the look you want. We chose to rent bamboo chairs and use bright fun florals for a tropical and gorgeous wedding. One of my favorite moments is looking up while having dinner and just taking in the beauty of the lodge with the string lights and natural light shining in from the skylights -- it was magical.
SERVICE: I love Laura. She is the coordinator we got to work with and she answered all 80 emails, and truly pulled off every request we had. She understands first hand about how expensive weddings can be, and she really made us feel like we got our monies worth, and she did everything with a smile. Kudos Laura for putting up with us! Kudos to chef, and to all of the servers there.
PRICE: In the end, I would say it was worth every dollar. Being a couple that saved and paid for everything ourselves upfront, I considered this the dream wedding. Definitely not as cheap as a DIY wedding, but here, you don't have to worry about a thing. Fireworks, smores and bon fire, family style social dinner, great bartender, not having to worry about any setup or takedown. I did not lift a finger. Shuttle service to and from the hotel, beach house right next door, everything was perfect. Comparable venues with exact offerings and service, I would say that you get more value here.
My friends have called It the wedding of the century. It is by far the best decision we've made and it truly was a dream wedding.

I am so bummed that my date is not available for booking here. The grounds are stunningly beautiful and the value is unbeatable! Laura responded to my inquiry faster than any other vendor I’ve contacted. Her communication time was speedy and precise. Although I’m not getting to have my wedding here, I would definitely recommend doing business at Kiana Lodge. Their professionalism is respectful and appreciated.Sent on 06/13/2019

From the moment we stepped onto Kiana Lodge's grounds for our first tour, we knew that they were the perfect venue for our wedding. Kiana's grounds provided us everything we needed - a beautiful water view, large atrium to host a reception and gorgeous places to take photos.Sent on 09/24/2018
We had a long engagement and it gave us plenty of time to pick our perfect date and work closely with Pam Weatherill. Pam is a pro at not only knowing Kiana Lodge, but wedding's in general. She know's exactly how things will flow and that it's OK if the timeline is off a bit. She worked with us on our day-of plans and it made our big day go so smoothly! She was always behind the scenes making sure everyone was where they needed to be. Our wedding day couldn't have gone so amazingly without Pam's help!
I can't recommend Kiana Lodge and their staff enough. Every aspect of the venue is gorgeous. Our big day was so incredible and Kiana Lodge made it that way! If you're searching for venues, you HAVE to make an appointment with Kiana Lodge (and work with Pam!!!) :)
Kiana Lodge is a stunning venue for weddings! From the gorgeous views to the exceptional service, it is a premier wedding venue! Kiana Lodge is a wedding photographers dream place to shoot because of all the gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces, natural window light, scenic views, and lush grounds. Year-round brides and grooms can expect to have an amazing experience here. Laura is the event planner for Kiana Lodge and a dream to work with. She loves what she does and it shows in every way.
Disco Royale has had the pleasure to have provided music at Kiana Lodge about a dozen times over the past decade, and each time has been a magical experience. The staff there are courteous and professional, yet relaxed and friendly, and the scenic beauty of the venue, situated as it is between a coniferous forest and beautiful Agate Passage, is simply breathtaking. My crew and I always feel fortunate when we get the call to provide music at Kiana. In a word, enchanting.
As an experienced wedding planner, I have recommended this venue to my clients several times. It's perfect for anyone wanting a "Pacific Northwest" style wedding! My clients are always blown away by the beauty of the property, and they love the fact that it's not a public property so we get it "to ourselves" for their time slot on the wedding day. The rates are so reasonable that most of my clients will actually book both time slots and have it all day! I have planned and coordinated more than a dozen weddings at this venue over the past decade and all have been wonderful, beautiful and memorable. I love hearing the guests comment upon arrival about how amazing the venue is. The staff is always friendly and helps me out wherever I need it. They are easy to reach and communicate with in the days leading up to the event for any last minute requests or changes. While the food is not "gourmet" or stuffy, it is always really good and they will work with you on custom options if you need it. Don't miss out on the salmon! The best I've ever had. Kiana's food and beverage pricing is excellent and well below most of the other venues I work with. it's a great value! Nothing beats a sunny afternoon at Kiana with the immaculate grounds, well kept flower planters and flower beds, the gorgeous waterfront and nice large lawn for the ceremony and cocktail hour. And even in rain, the indoor ceremony option is wonderful due to all of the natural light coming in. Also if it rains, there are covered walkways with glass ceilings to use for outdoor photos or just to keep guests dry when moving from building to building. I will continue to sing their praises and refer clients to Kiana Lodge for years to come! Thanks Pam and Laura! You guys always go above and beyond for my clients and I appreciate you!
