We can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience with Pretty Bird as our wedding venue! From start to finish, it was an incredible value for a full 3-day Wedding Weekend that felt like a dream woodland getaway. The views were absolutely spectacular—mountains, trees, and even birdsong from the aviary that added a magical soundtrack to our ceremony.

Tamara was an absolute gem. She went above and beyond to make our experience seamless and stress-free. She let us visit multiple times to plan our layout and try different table settings, accommodated all our requests, and even allowed our rentals to be picked up days after we left. Her warmth and flexibility made the planning process genuinely enjoyable.

The rest of the staff were just as amazing. We loved them so much we hired Betsy as our day-of coordinator, and she was a bright, calming presence who kept everything running smoothly with grace and a smile.

The lodge was spacious and perfect for housing my bridesmaids and some family members. The bridal suite was ideal for getting ready—with great lighting, space, and comfort—while the groomsmen had several great spots on the property to prepare as well. We self-catered our wedding and, despite the no open flame policy, made it work great with roasting pans in the Lodge and hot boxes at the barn. We also created our own flower arrangements and there was more than enough space to do that at the barn and the alter!

The barn comfortably held our 175 guests. We did have to break down a few tables later in the evening to make room for dancing, but using the loft could have avoided that. We rented the Wandering Taps Mobile Bar trailer, and they were fantastic—professional, well-prepared, and already familiar with the venue, which made everything easier. We also rented a restroom trailer from Privey Chambers that fit perfectly next to the barn and was a great addition.

Our only small tip: be aware that the Wi-Fi can be spotty in the barn and a few outer areas—nothing major, just worth noting for any DJ you might hire or any photo upload services you might use.

From the sunlit ceremony to dancing under the stars, it truly felt like a fairytale. We are endlessly grateful to Tamara and the Pretty Bird team for making our wedding weekend unforgettable!

When my daughter saw the view of Mt Pilchuck behind the wedding amphitheater’s arch, tears of joy came to her eyes. It was a perfect place for the wedding. We invited groom’s family and her family to spend an extra day to help set up for reception in the amazing barn. The venue staff set up tables with lively tablecloths, place settings, and some details we chose. We put on the finishing touches. The guests were so enamored with the venue. From the beautiful lodge home, the ceremony site, and the reception barn. Our guests commented that this was the best wedding they had attended!


Also, the owner was very responsive and allowed us to come to test out our sound system and tour multiple times. Another great feature we really appreciated was that they cleaned the dishes and linens. We just stacked place servings according to the directions which was fairly simple as we had our guests stack their own as they left.


I highly recommend Pretty Bird Weddings

This was the only venue we toured and we immediately booked. We knew it was perfect. The main reason we booked was the unbeatable price, and the fact that we could get a multi day package. We had the venue from fri-sun (Saturday being our wedding day). And we had the whole wedding party stay in the house the night before the wedding (and my husbands family from out of town stay the night of our wedding) - this was huge for me as i didn’t want there to be any rush on the morning of the wedding. We did set up the day before the wedding and the morning of the wedding us and our whole group of friends had breakfast together, hung out, played games and we weren’t rushed at all! The venue was a dream!! I got the package where the venue team set the tables and the plates/silverware which made set up SO much easier, all we had to do for the reception area was set the centerpieces. For tear down we just make sure plates were in bus bins. The venue did all the dishes and laundry (tablecloths, bedding, etc). My only recommendation is renting porta-potties. There is only one restroom in the barn (with 200+ guests that just simply wasn’t enough) and we tried to keep the house off limits for our guests. Other than that the venue was the most perfect place for our wedding and I’m so glad we found it! I will recommend this venue for the rest of my life, it was everything I dreamt of and more!
