We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue for our wedding! Pretty Bird Weddings & Events offers breathtaking views and the added bonus of a lodge to get ready in and even spend the night. Tamara, the venue director, and Betsy, the event coordinator, were incredible throughout the entire planning process—helpful, responsive, and truly invested in making our day perfect. We loved having the freedom to choose our own vendors, though we did end up going with some of their preferred vendors, Pacific Northwest Catering and Karr Productions, and they were fantastic. From start to finish, this venue and team made our wedding experience stress-free and unforgettable. -

Dream Wedding Weekend!
We can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience with Pretty Bird as our wedding venue! From start to finish, it was an incredible value for a full 3-day Wedding Weekend that felt like a dream woodland getaway. The views were absolutely spectacular—mountains, trees, and even birdsong from the aviary that added a magical soundtrack to our ceremony.
Tamara was an absolute gem. She went above and beyond to make our experience seamless and stress-free. She let us visit multiple times to plan our layout and try different table settings, accommodated all our requests, and even allowed our rentals to be picked up days after we left. Her warmth and flexibility made the planning process genuinely enjoyable.
The rest of the staff were just as amazing. We loved them so much we hired Betsy as our day-of coordinator, and she was a bright, calming presence who kept everything running smoothly with grace and a smile.
The lodge was spacious and perfect for housing my bridesmaids and some family members. The bridal suite was ideal for getting ready—with great lighting, space, and comfort—while the groomsmen had several great spots on the property to prepare as well. We self-catered our wedding and, despite the no open flame policy, made it work great with roasting pans in the Lodge and hot boxes at the barn. We also created our own flower arrangements and there was more than enough space to do that at the barn and the alter!
The barn comfortably held our 175 guests. We did have to break down a few tables later in the evening to make room for dancing, but using the loft could have avoided that. We rented the Wandering Taps Mobile Bar trailer, and they were fantastic—professional, well-prepared, and already familiar with the venue, which made everything easier. We also rented a restroom trailer from Privey Chambers that fit perfectly next to the barn and was a great addition.
Our only small tip: be aware that the Wi-Fi can be spotty in the barn and a few outer areas—nothing major, just worth noting for any DJ you might hire or any photo upload services you might use.
From the sunlit ceremony to dancing under the stars, it truly felt like a fairytale. We are endlessly grateful to Tamara and the Pretty Bird team for making our wedding weekend unforgettable!Pretty Bird Weddings and Events's reply:

This was the only venue we toured and we immediately booked. We knew it was perfect. The main reason we booked was the unbeatable price, and the fact that we could get a multi day package. We had the venue from fri-sun (Saturday being our wedding day). And we had the whole wedding party stay in the house the night before the wedding (and my husbands family from out of town stay the night of our wedding) - this was huge for me as i didn’t want there to be any rush on the morning of the wedding. We did set up the day before the wedding and the morning of the wedding us and our whole group of friends had breakfast together, hung out, played games and we weren’t rushed at all! The venue was a dream!! I got the package where the venue team set the tables and the plates/silverware which made set up SO much easier, all we had to do for the reception area was set the centerpieces. For tear down we just make sure plates were in bus bins. The venue did all the dishes and laundry (tablecloths, bedding, etc). My only recommendation is renting porta-potties. There is only one restroom in the barn (with 200+ guests that just simply wasn’t enough) and we tried to keep the house off limits for our guests. Other than that the venue was the most perfect place for our wedding and I’m so glad we found it! I will recommend this venue for the rest of my life, it was everything I dreamt of and more!Pretty Bird Weddings and Events's reply:

We highly recommend this venue! The thing that appealed to us the most was the beautiful location and views along with the flexibility with setup. You can have the ceremony inside the house, the barn, or outside in the amphitheater. There is a ton of space, and your guests can stay the night. No flames allowed so we had a buffet of room temperature food and it was a hit! I only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Tamara for sharing your lovely home with us! And now we can hike mount pilchuck every year and see the place we gor married with binoculars! -

Love that you can spend the night
This place is an amazing place to get married . There are so many options to have a ceremony depending upon weather . You could have it in the main house, out side or in the barn . The only thing I would say negative is the grass could have been cut or at least the weeds with a weed whacker .
I wish in the barn there was a refrigerator and a clear bathroom sign . I was asked several times where the bathroom was or my guest kept walking back to the house. There is plenty of parking and you pretty much have free range on how you want to decorate. Dog friendly ( must pick up poop or you will lose your deposit) . -

The Wedding Venue of Our Dreams
Having our wedding at the Pretty Bird venue was an absolute dream! This venue exceeded all our expectations. It was so beautiful and had everything we needed and wanted. Communication with the venue owner Tamara was also so quick and easy and she was always willing to help me with whatever questions I had. I would recommend this venue to anyone! -

My Brother-in-las just got married here and there is a beautiful new barn, a wonderful lodge for the family and endless parking. There was a full moon over Mt Pilchuck after the ceremony that added to the experience. Highly recommend! -

Caitlynn Sent on 10/04/2023The perfect wedding package......flexibility, wildflowers, mountain views, and birds!
We got married at Pretty Bird Wedding and Events on Friday 6/28/24. It rained in Snohomish off and on the two days leading up to the wedding however the weather was a perfect high of 70 deg, sunny, and the mountain was completely visible on the day of our wedding. We rented the venue the day before and after to give us time for set up and tear down which I highly recommend for a less stressful day of the wedding. The AirBnb was perfect for immediate family to stay for the weekend who helped, especially because everyone traveled for the wedding including us. The house was also great for getting ready and we had plenty of space for a moderately sized wedding party. We set the whole venue up the day before which turned out even better than I could have even imagined! My husband and I went to the barn the morning of the wedding which was special to be able to soak it all in before all the guests arrived. The venue has so much stuff to the point we didn't have to rent anything extra like more tables, chairs, table clothes, napkins, silverware, ect. We had around 90 people at our wedding and everyone fit great with extra room for dancing and mingling. The birds were a great touch and super fun. The kids loved them and they even made some noises for the ceremony. There was plenty of parking since they expanded their parking lot and no one had any issues finding the place. I loved the flexibility we had at this venue to make our day special to us.
My advice: Hire a day of coordinator that is familiar with the venue. Betsy came in clutch in so many ways for organizing and problem-solving day of. Make sure your caterer knows there is no open flames allowed. We did end up having to spend a bit more money on food last minute to accommodate but it all worked out. Maybe look at the preferred vendor list.

I honestly loved this venue so much. I had reached out to so many venues before Pretty Bird and there was always something that I just didn't like or didn't seem ideal. I was so glad I found this venue on Wedding Wire because I was exhausted from looking so I booked without even touring the place.

This venue was out of a fairytale for my wedding, Tamara was courteous and answered any questions asked professionally. My experience here was exactly what I was looking for, a rustic barn style wedding and they nailed it more than I imagined. Tables, chairs, and an arch already supplied for us helped tremendously! The bridal suite had white wine with 2 chutes we drank during our bath with rose petal oil and put in rose petals, made my skin SO soft! All the guests there loved the venue and adored the birds there, gave it the real meaning of a barn :) i absolutely recommend this place for any special event! -

Very responsive host at a gorgeous location! Tamera was extremely helpful, very quick to respond and took care of all of our needs! Will definitely be using this venue again in the future!
