Show stopping views of rainier, a brand new barn, and a Creek with a bridge perfect for pictures. The staff made us feel like family. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding. Highly recommend!

Our daughter dreamed of a storybook wedding experience and Edlynn Farm delivered! The January 1st, 2022 wedding offered majestic views of a snowcapped Mount Rainier and a tranquil country setting. This provided an outstanding backdrop for breathtaking wedding photos. The owners/manager were very sincere in their stellar support during our wedding preparations. They were very responsive in their communications, organized the contract and guidelines for the event, offered helpful referrals for several vendors, and were flexible when we asked for a tour, pre-event walk through, and in meeting our specific requests. On the day of the event, they had the facility grounds cleared, as winter had paid a rare visit to the pacific northwest, and the venue warmed and ready. The interior of this place is bright and new. All of our guests commented about how wonderful this facility was to host a wedding and we couldn't agree more. Thank you again, Edlynn Farm for delivering on your promises and making our daughter's wedding day, picture perfect! We highly recommend doing business with the folks at Edlynn Farm.

The grounds alone are full of positive energy-
But the staff are GOOD at what they do, and have an impeccably professional and compassionate demeanor all the time. They are clear and detailed about they expectations and allowances, and seemed to check-in with us right when we needed them. Edlynn Farm is by far the best venue in the South Sound! The grounds are gorgeous, and the views are breathtaking. Edlynn Farm was the perfect location to host my son's wedding. The bridal cottage had everything we could ask for while preparing for the event. We held the wedding outside with Mt. Rainier shining bright in the background. The barn was the perfect spot for the reception on a hot summer day. In addition, the property owners were very friendly and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue to celebrate this special day for our family. Thank you to the entire staff at Edlynn Farm! We will definitely use your venue in the future.

The fairytale became a reality...our daughter is so special and her Prince Charming met her at the alter to create a new family in this magical venue created by a family with a vision. They built and they maintain such a beautiful site. We were so blessed to have found them. They were in touch the entire time-each step of the way. We never had a question a concern a doubt. We would recommend this venue for any event! It was beautiful! Everyone we worked with went above and beyond our expectations and we couldn’t be happier. Planning a wedding is hard and doing it during a pandemic is even harder but everyone that we worked with did everything they could to make things easier for us! Amazing communication and so friendly! I can’t say enough good things about the venue and the people! Our guests can’t stop talking about how beautiful this venue is. This venue is beautiful and quite the place for a wedding. The area is peaceful, and full of great views. The barn is beautifully built, and the service provided by the owners is exceptional.

I want to start this off with wow this venue and property is stunning! We truly had an amazing wedding day there! I will say there was a few things like the AC is not the best in the bridal cottage ( even after closing all the windows ), the insulation in the barn that took place after we booked ( I’m very detailed orientated so it bugged the heck out of me ) Also there were new “guidelines and policies” after we signed the original contract we had signed with them a year prior I think they should have honored the original signed contract and lastly the watering the grass during the entire day of event??? So many questions on that. Other then those few things we truly enjoyed edlynn!

Would NOT recommend Edlynn Farm. Our experience included contract changes, bullying, harassment, and threats from the venue staff, and us potentially having to take legal action against the venue. They are UNPROFESSIONAL, and DON’T CARE about their clients. This vendor ended up being the MOST DIFFICULT out of everything during our wedding planning.

1- We got an email saying they were implementing new “guidelines and policies” that completely contradicted our original contract we had signed with them months prior. They said we could no longer have alcohol in the bridal cottage, there were no more alcoholic shots on the premises, there was a multitude of new music standards, and so forth. When we stated that our contract contradicts their new changes, they went as far as saying that they would be happy to reimburse us our money and we can find another venue- 6 months before our wedding!
2- We didn’t want to be pushed out of our venue, and we had to get a lawyer involved to look over these new policies, negotiate out new terms, work out an addendum contract, and implement that no more changes would be made without our agreement.
3- Fast forward to a few weeks before my wedding. I am now being told that I HAVE to make a decision on the venue layout. Even though nowhere in my contract does it state that I have to make this decision within a certain time frame. I wanted to wait to see how the weather looked closer to my big day.
4- A few days leading up to my wedding, I am getting harassing emails from the venue saying that if I don’t make a decision, THEY WILL MAKE THE DECISION FOR ME. They even went to one of my wedding vendors and told her to make a decision on my behalf. I sent them a Plan A, and a Plan B with a detailed description and photoshopped diagram layouts of the setups, so they would still have an idea in mind. Finally, I told them that the weather looked nice, and that we were going to move forward with the outdoor ceremony. They then NEGATED my plan and told me that it wasn’t going to happen. In those same moment, they went BEHIND MY BACK and sent new indoor ceremony layouts (different from mine) that they ‘liked better’. I was floored by this point, I sent them an email stating that none of their behavior was okay, them overruling my decision was not acceptable.
5- Come the morning of the wedding (8:00 AM), it was cloudy, but was going to be sunny well before my ceremony at 3:00 PM. The owners are now there, and throwing actual fits. They are now saying “the grass has to be completely dry to set up outside”, I felt it myself, it was BARELY damp. Also our contact clearly states that the outdoor ceremony would only move indoors in cases of “Inclement Weather”. You could really tell that they were NOT trying to work with us. By 10:30 AM it was sunny, and was going to remain that way for the rest of the day. They were STILL FIGHTING US on making it go indoors. At this point, we let it be known that none of this fit in with our contract and we weren't going to take it anymore.
6- I did later find out from one of my wedding vendors that they also THREATENED us that if we used a flower petal toss for our send-off (which was approved several times already, and is used as an ‘ok’ example in their venue paperwork), they would charge us a $500 damage deposit. So my wedding vendor had to literally negotiate with them moment before, say that she would only hand out portion of flower petals, and my wedding vendor would personally pick them up.

As a bride and groom, there are so many different things going on during wedding planning, the last thing that you want is a major factor like your venue being constantly threatened. I understand being a new venue has its own learning curve, but it doesn’t change the character of the venue staff and the way they handled these situations. Solving any problems should not include threatening, harassing and bullying your clients. I am appalled by their behavior and I encourage every engaged couple to LOOK ELSEWHERE.
