Karen truly was my fairy godmother throughout this whole process! I brought in a dress that was completely sheer and lace, bought off the rack, nowhere close to fitting me, and with an incredibly heavy, extra-long train. I knew it would be a difficult alteration, but Karen never once seemed stressed or overwhelmed. Instead, she approached every appointment with confidence, patience, and so much kindness. She completely transformed my dress into an absolute masterpiece. The amount of detail and precision that went into altering such a unique gown was unbelievable — it honestly felt like she was putting together the most beautiful puzzle piece by piece. She worked closely with me every step of the way to make sure everything was exactly how I envisioned it, and somehow the final result was even better than I could have imagined. I know my dress was a challenge, but Karen exceeded my expectations in every possible way. I could not have trusted my wedding dress to better hands, and I am forever grateful for the magic she created!

Oak wood cleaners did a beautiful job and was able to remove some very hard stains from my gown and veil along the bottom. Do expect this process to be quite lengthy and a bit pricey. That said it was extremely worth it! It looks good as new.

Tatyana altered my wedding dress. She is an absolutely amazing professional! I also bought a handmade veil of hers and she helped me style my entire ensemble to include my great-grandmother’s mink stole. It was an incredible experience leading up to the most wonderful day of my life.

I tried on multiple wedding dresses at 7 different dress stores and found my dream dress at Adorn Nashville. I learned that the Enzoani designer is my favorite and makes top quality dresses. The dresses from this store were a noticeably better quality in photos and in person than the others I had tried on. My dress had lots of lace detail with a see through layer on the sides, buttons, a glitter layer, tulle sleeves/tulle detail on the front, etc. They were extremely helpful on finding my perfect dress that had everything I was looking for in it. My stylist always listened to my feedback on what I loved or didn’t like as much about a dress and kept pulling things based on my feedback until we got it right. I was even able to order my dress in a different color than I had tried on & added buttons to go all the way down the train. They can pretty much customize any dress which is incredible. My stylist was so nice and gave me no pressure at all other than wanting me to pick what I will feel comfortable and beautiful in. I cried as soon as I tried on “the” dress because I knew it was the one. They email you lots of wedding tips & provide you with different alterations contact info as well. My dress ended up being huge on me when it came in which made alterations very pricey so I wish I would have ordered a smaller dress size but other than that my experience at Adorn was the best. Thank you guys for everything! I felt like a beautiful bride in my dress and got so many compliments on it. If you’re wedding dress shopping I highly recommend Adorn Nashville!

I was lucky enough to work with two Modern Trousseau locations and consultants when purchasing my wedding dress. Kelly at the Georgetown, DC location, and Jen in Nashville. I can’t say enough wonderful things about either of these ladies or my MT experience. When I walked into MT Georgetown in March, I had fairly low expectations. I’d had two lengthy but disappointing appointments elsewhere, and was no closer to finding THE dress. But the instant I stepped into the first gown at Modern Trousseau, it felt different. No, that one wasn’t the one either, but it was the first one that put a smile on my face. Beautifully lined, obviously well-made, and unique in the array of seemingly identical itchy polyester numbers I’d seen (elsewhere) so far. Kelly bent over backward to ensure every detail was exactly as I wanted it. When I took delivery in Nashville Jen and DeNeal—the immensely talented seamstress who handles their alterations—patiently took me through the rest of my fitting appointments. I ultimately chose a dress that felt like me on my very best day—and three weeks ago, that’s precisely how I felt wearing it. Thank you, Kelly, Jen, and DeNeal!!

Rai-Lynne has an amazing talent. If you are looking for an ecofriendly dress then you should email her quick. Rai-Lynne can custom make a dress for you and her husband Dustin will do the applique. I always wanted to be the center of attention at my wedding and with my dress, I definitely acheived that. My guests could not believe that I had hemp on. I was a little worried sometimes and Rai-Lynne is so busy that it would take days to get a response back. But in the end I would have waited weeks for what came out of her hands. I don't think there is anyway to truely make someone understand how beautiful and COMFORTABLE my dress was/is with out having been at my wedding. I wish I could wear my wedding dress everyday.

I got engaged in August and got married the first of December; therefore, my wedding timeline was tight. Prior to my appointment, my stylist had set aside dresses that would be available within my timeframe. I tried on the grouping of dresses and had narrowed my choice to two. Between changes, My mother found a dress that was in the extended dress grouping and insisted I try it on. It was that magic moment I was waiting for. I knew I was getting married in that dress. The sample dress fit perfectly and the team at Bride Room sold me their dress. My wedding dress moment in their showroom was the Perfect experience. THANK YOU!

Before I started looking for dresses, I saw a dress on Instagram (“Mishell” by Dany Tabet, a less well-known and rarely stocked designer), and knew immediately that I had to try it on, along with several other of his designs. Unfortunately, no store within driving distance to me carried the dress that had stolen my heart. I contacted The Dress Theory, which did carry a few Dany Tabet dresses. They confirmed that none of the three dresses I was interested in were in stock in their store, but immediately suggested that they could have samples of all three delivered to the store directly from the designer for me to try on. I ended up visiting 4 other bridal shops in two states before my appointment at the Dress Theory. As soon as I walked in, the dresses they had delivered for me to try were hanging at the front along with the other Dany Tabet dresses they do regularly stock. I was so happy to try on dresses that finally made me feel like a bridal version of myself!!! After I knew Mishell was my dress but before I put it on for the last time to say yes, they even let me play dress-up in a few of their more unique dresses so my dress shopping experience could last just a little bit longer! I can’t thank the girls at The Dress Theory enough for their incredible service, for tracking down my dream dress for me to try on and eventually order, for styling me with a beautiful Sara Gabriel veil, and for making me feel so celebrated during this process. I couldn’t have felt more beautiful on my wedding day thanks to them.
