Our wedding at The Vanderbilt at South Beach was nothing short of perfection! From the moment we reached out to Brittany Felice, our incredible event planner, we knew we were in great hands. Brittany and her team went above and beyond to make our big day truly special. From the start, Brittany was upfront, helpful, and made us feel like old friends. She guided us through every step of the process, answering all our questions and ensuring that our wedding reflected exactly what we envisioned. We chose to go non-traditional with certain elements, and Brittany was understanding and accommodating, making sure everything was tailored to our preferences—even on a tight timeline. The venue itself is stunning, but it’s the team and the experience they create that makes it extraordinary. The food was absolutely AMAZING—a huge hit with our guests, especially with my Italian family, who have high standards for cuisine. Cocktail hour was a showstopper with a variety of delicious options that had everyone raving. Our Maitre d’, John, ensured we were well taken care of throughout the night. He respected our wish to attend the cocktail hour and even made sure we had our own table and tried all the entrees. He kept the night running smoothly and stress-free. The waitstaff was attentive and wonderful, and my bridal attendant, Angel, was a true gem. She was always by my side, making sure my dress was picture-perfect, helping bustle it, and ensuring I had everything I needed. Every detail was handled with care and professionalism. We brought our own centerpieces and favors a week before, and the team did a fantastic job setting everything up beautifully. They honored all our custom touches, making the space uniquely ours. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere—it was warm, friendly, and inviting. Thank you to Brittany, John, Angel, and the entire team at The Vanderbilt. You exceeded all our expectations and gave us a wedding we will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a venue with stunning views, outstanding food, and a team that truly cares about making your day special, The Vanderbilt is the place to be! Thank you for everything! Overall, the day went very smoothly! If we did have any issues, staff were very attentive and quick to help or adjust as needed. Thank you to Matt, Jackie, and Jen especially! The venue spaces and beautiful and malleable to any theme you’d need. Food is delicious and variable. I think mg only ask would be to keep everyone informed. My husband missed the chance to get certain photos due to miscommunications. But besides that everything was smooth.

When looking at venues to book Carmela was there to direct us and guide us by sitting down and going through options in the wedding breakdown. Her warm and friendly personality really allowed communication to be easy and she was quick with email responses and phone calls. I would refer family and friends here in the future because they made it easy for someone who was a bit clueless with wedding planning. Carmela made sure to go through all the wedding details and made it a joyful experience. I look forward to booking again in the future with them!

Chris and his team at Taste of Honey truly are amazing. The food at my wedding from start to finish was DELICIOUS! People are still talking about the food at my wedding! The apps were perfect bites, and for dinner we had 3 types of pasta and the skirt steak! So so so good. My dad’s side of the family are tough food critics and they all unanimously said that it was the BEST wedding food they have ever had!! So happy with my decision to use Taste of Honey and would recommend anybody to use them for ANY type of event they are having, not just a wedding!

We got married at this venue about a year ago and although I've been busy I had to write a review because this place was definitely amazing! One of the first things a loved was their quick response. They called me back considerably fast compared to most other places where I had called previously. Their rates were amazingly flexible depending on my preferences an requests. I had the cell phone number of the person on charge of my party and he responded to me almost immediately every time I called him. He also happened to be the owner which made everything so much easy because he didn't have to double check everything with someone else plus he always had an answer for me. This place was very accommodating. They don't charge more for a Saturday than a Friday or things like that. The cake is included in the price and they have beautiful choices plus it was delicious. Their food was amazingly delicious and very very generous (my guest told me that they thought the canape and cocktail our was the actual dinner because of the incredible amount and variety of food served. Everyone at my party said that the staff was overly friendly while super professional and that service was great! If you have a minimum amount of people you can have a separate room for the canape party for the same price. We also added an hour to our party for a very reasonable price and we weren't rushed out of the place even after the extra our was gone. We had two bars set up at the reception room plus waiters constantly serving drinks. Not once did any of my 180 guests had to wait for drinks ( and this party was full of heavy drinkers). They served some premium liquor for no additional cost and the most cute mini coronas. After having the room set up for 190 people we still had plenty of room at the dance floor (which stayed packed all night). It ended up raining after the church so we didn't go to the botanical gardens as originally planned but we still managed to get great shots outside the venue. The green trees, the little bridge and the gazebo (which I never thought I was going to use) en d up saving the day. Sure, the place needs to be updated. It needs paint on the outside and the bridal/waiting room downstairs is claustrophobic...is a small room in a baseman but it didn't matter at all. We didn't use the bridal room because is was too small and sad but besides that it all worked out beautifully and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a great party, with great food and reasonable prices at a very flexible and easy going venue. I had issues with our photographer that didn't show up and sent a person that had no idea of how to take photos as a replacement but The Crystal Room managed to make the issues insignificant...our photos were terrible but our wedding dinner and the party were outstanding! Thank you so much!
