When we originally booked Vesper was still under construction and there were definitely concerns!! I'm glad to say Joe and the team delivered on all their promises..the food was exceptional , the service was right on point and the room speaks for itself. You will not find a better venue if this is what you're looking for..the planning team will walk you thru the entire process and you do not need a wedding planner!! Joe is a pro!! In the face of sub-zero temperatures, high winds and potential for snow testing our winter wedding dreams, we are extremely grateful to Vesper Events, The Box House Hotel, and Room 11 Productions teams for mobilizing to keep us all safe, warm, well fed, and in high spirits to celebrate this milestone in style. The Box House team, including event designers Daryna and Mariel were creative, attentive, and committed to ensuring our wedding felt like us and developed a warm, inviting, and special look for the event. I appreciated that they handled coordinating gorgeous florals with Pink Jasmine designs. Our day-of coordinator Robyn, along with the team Nick, Joe, Micaela, and Mitchell went above and beyond in ensuring our wedding day would surpass our expectations at both the hotel rooftop and eventually in their sister venue Vesper event space. Both venues promised beautiful cityscape views from 360-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, and when we ended up at Vesper due to inclement weather, the skyline on the Williamsburg waterfront at sunset during our ceremony was simply spectacular. The AV team with their partner Room 11 created a beautiful ambiance with colored lights on their beautiful wave ceiling installation, expertly coordinated with our DJ/musician hybrid team of artists. The catering was outstanding; our guests raved about our menu offerings and we very much enjoyed the tasting experience to make our selections. I was especially excited that our entire menu could be gluten-free without any extra effort, and that they could provide a naked wedding cake in addition to their dessert offerings. I chose The Box House for their all-inclusive package and minimizing the amount of different vendors I needed to work with made the process so much less stressful. We highly recommend Vesper for a beautiful NYC wedding.

So this was actually the first time I have ever planned a wedding out of state I must say it was so easy and wonderful working with the team at VESPER. If you’re the kind of person who cares about both aesthetics and execution, VESPER is the rare venue that delivers on both. The views are a huge part of the experience everyone kept mentioning the views especially since this wedding had a ton of out of towners and it made every moment feel so much more special without needing extra “stuff” to dress it up.

What impressed me most was how professional the team was with logistics. Load-in, setup, transitions, and timing all stayed smooth. We had pretty much every vendor possible on site, plus a tight ceremony-to-cocktail-to-reception flow, and the staff stayed proactive instead of reactive. That matters.

Hospitality was consistent all night. Guests were greeted warmly, questions were answered quickly, and nothing ever felt chaotic. Even small moments like helping guests check their coats and get settled or discreetly checking in with me about timing made a difference.

Food was a major win. Everything from welcome drinks, to cocktail hour, to the main dinner reception were incredible!! The team handled preferences and dietary needs clearly in the month's proceeding while we settled in on menu selections.

Ultimately, VESPER is a beautiful setting, but more importantly, it’s a well-run operation—exactly what you want on a wedding day.

We chose VESPER because the moment you arrive, the views and the ceiling do the talking! Standing with our families and looking out at NYC Skyline felt like the whole day slowed down in the best way. It’s rare to find a venue that feels elevated without feeling cold, but VESPER somehow manages to feel both stunning and welcoming.

The service and hospitality were steady, calm, and genuinely kind. We had a lot of moving parts—225 guests, full ceremony, cocktail hour, reception for 200+, vendors coming in and out—and the team handled it with a quiet confidence that kept us from spiraling. Anytime a question popped up, Robyn, our included*** Day of Coordinator already had a solution!

And the food... The tasting, which was held at their other venue, Box House, was one of the highlights of our entire planning season. It didn’t feel like “checking a box,” it felt like a real date night, albeit shared with some other couples which was kinda awesome because we were able to chit chat with them about their experiences—course after course, each one somehow better than the last. We still talk about the short rib and the way the staff walked us through flavors and pairings without being pretentious.

If you want a wedding day that feels intentional, cared for, and genuinely enjoyable—not just pretty in photos—VESPER delivered!!!!

As the father of the bride, you walk into a wedding day carrying a mix of pride, nerves, and a strong desire for everything to go smoothly for your family. Vesper gave me peace of mind from the moment we first toured, through the planning process, and especially so on the wedding day.

The venue itself is striking—those views are not an exaggeration. When our guests stepped in and took in the massive windows and unobstructed views of the city, you could feel people's jaws dropping. It created a sense of occasion without needing anything forced.

What I appreciated most was the service and hospitality. The team treated our family with real warmth—helping direct older relatives, answering questions patiently, and making sure everyone felt taken care of. It never felt like we were “in the way” or being rushed through a schedule. The staff carried themselves with calm professionalism, and that steadiness matters when emotions are running high.

The food deserves special mention. The family style service was smooth, well executed, and genuinely delicious. It didn’t feel like an event formality; it felt like a proper wedding experience without the stuffiness of a plated affair. On the wedding day, guests repeatedly commented on how good the meal was, which is about the highest compliment you can get especially given that wedding food tends to get a bad rap.

VESPER delivered a beautiful setting, but more importantly, they delivered care. For a parent watching his daughter have the day she dreamed of, that’s everything.

We booked our wedding here months before the venue was finished. We trusted Joe, Abbas, and the team to deliver in the same way they do at The Box House and Madre. They were patient and kind, and worked with us every step of the way to ensure the wedding would fit our vision. 

Long story short: they delivered.

The space was absolutely stunning to match the unparalleled skyline views. The rooftop was a big plus, and they made sure we were equipped to entertain our guests up there. The food was 10/10 AND they made sure we got to enjoy it! 

Mariel executed our vision precisely as designer. Daryna and Nick worked with us to ensure we had the details narrowed down and then Robyn and Diana (sp?) made sure we were tended to day of. Throughout the process, Joe and Abbas went above and beyond to ensure we felt confident and ready for the big day.

The space at The Vesper speaks for itself, with it's sweeping views of Manhattan's skyline immediately taking your breath away, but it is also the staff who were able to execute our wrap party with flying colors, from the superb service to the delicious food and libations, our entire cast and crew couldn't have been more pleased and celebrated.

Planning an important event like our Fire Department’s Annual Dinner Dance and Awards Night comes with a lot of pressure — you want everything to be perfect, especially for a team that gives so much to the community. When we chose VESPER, we were excited, but also a bit nervous since it was a brand-new venue.

Those nerves disappeared quickly.

From our first conversation with the team, we felt heard, supported, and genuinely cared for. They approached every detail with professionalism and heart, and it was clear they were fully prepared to make our night a success.

And what a night it was. The venue is breathtaking — the city views alone are unforgettable, and the LED ceiling transformed the space into something magical. It felt like we were celebrating somewhere truly special.

The food was amazing, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The service was thoughtful and seamless — our guests were cared for from the moment they arrived to the final goodbye.

VESPER didn’t just host our event — they made it memorable. It was more than a dinner and a dance. It was a celebration of our department’s hard work, and thanks to the VESPER team, it felt every bit as meaningful as it deserved to be.

We contracted for our daughter's wedding at Vesper in March 2025, a few months before the space was completed. Joe Torres gave us the tour and his vision of a modern, state of the art and high end wedding venue with spectacular views of Manhattan became clear the second we walked into the main room, saw the grand space and were amazed by the views.

The other truly unique angle on Vesper is that they cater delicious Latin/Mediterranean fusion cuisine for their events. Our guests could not stop raving about the food from hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour through the dinner and ending with great party bites at the after-party.

We threw a black tie 200+ person wedding, including the ceremony, at Vesper. The space is very well designed to transition from ceremony to cocktails through to the main reception and after party. Joe, Nick and the entire team approached the months long planning process as a collaborative effort where they really listened and helped us arrive at the perfect selection of hors d'oeuvres, main food selections, wines and spirits.

While the Vesper team offers full wedding planning services, we opted to bring in our own planners. A word of advice, if you choose to go this route, is to make sure your planners are communicating with the Vesper team throughout the process and to join the final discussion on the run of day with the planners and the Vesper team all together several days before the event. This will ensure smooth sailing on the day of. We did have a couple of hiccups mainly regarding a few aspects of bar/drink service that we are sure will be fully addressed by Vesper going forward.

The wedding was a wonderful and elegant occasion. We highly recommend Vesper for a beautiful, unique, and unforgettable experience.
