Rooftop Wedding Venues in Greater New York City Metro

I had a unique style wedding at the Ravel. Approx. 250 guests for a cocktail style wedding in the penthouse. Eman and her team were so wonderful and helpful from the minute we had the tour to the even weeks after the event. Eman has such an amazing rapport with so many vendors and everytime i spoke to a vendor their response was with excitement that they would be able to work with Eman again and at the Ravel. So many people after my event have booked the same venue to do how flawless the entire party and day was executed. Every guest raved about the food and flow for months after the event. My answer was always "was it really that fun and good?" and they always answered with "I wouldn't go out of my way to compliment it 2 months after if it wasn't!" And I attribute that to the staff that knows this place best. Was such a special weekend and feel like working with Eman was such a wonderful experience. Wish I could do it 10 more times.

We recently celebrated my daughter's Sweet 16 at Cityview Rooftop and Lounge, and it was amazing! Tucked away in College Point, Queens, this place is a real hidden gem. We couldn't have picked a better spot to kick off summer with a birthday bash. Inside, they've got a cool bar area with plenty of tables, all surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows. It gives the place a bright, open feel, and the view from the outdoor deck is just wow. On one side, you see the Manhattan skyline, and on the other, the Whitestone bridge. Watching the sunset and seeing the city lights at night made everything so magical. The staff was fantastic. Joe, the owner, was super helpful with setup tips and had a great eye for detail. Communication was a breeze with Susanne; she's so sweet and quick to respond. On the night, the bartenders and everyone were friendly and kept the good vibes going. Shout out to Jennifer, who was also super sweet and made sure everything ran smoothly. We went with Joe's catering company for food, and it was a great choice. The food was delicious and a hit with our guests. (Mini crab cakes for appetizer was out of this world!) All in all, Cityview was the perfect place for our Sweet 16. From the killer views to the awesome staff and tasty food, it made the night super special. Can't recommend it enough!

Beautiful space that went above our expectations. It's an amazing open space fitting of the Red Hook neighborhood. We had around 60 guests and the space didn't feel too small or too big. Although we didn't hire any florists or decorators the space was still beautiful and well decorated. Communication was easy and everyone involved was great to work with. The added drink package was amazing and we received nothing but compliments all night. We used Audii their in-house day of coordinator and with her everything went super smooth. Thanks again for such a wonderful and stress-free night

We held our daughter’s wedding on the rooftop at 74 Wythe. She and her fiance fell in love with the venue when they toured it last summer. They were looking for a Brooklyn vibe and views across the East River, and 74 Wythe delivers, with spectacular views of Lower Manhattan from the huge banquet space, with a retractable glass roof and perfect post-industrial Williamsburg energy. It is also barely a step from all the Williamsburg action, including, for us, the two hotels where our family and friends stayed and the venues where we held our rehearsal dinner and welcome party. The venue coordinator, Molly Bloom, could not have been more helpful and accommodating, and she and her team were genuinely thrilled for us, joining in our excitement every step of the way in planning and carrying out the vision of the young couple. Molly even came back early from her own family event that weekend to be able to share in our celebration. Every part of the evening, from the ceremony on the rooftop, to the cocktail hour in “the Room,” to the dinner and dancing back on the rooftop, and a final after-party coda on the night in the charming “J Bird” lounge, was absolutely perfect. It was eye-opening to see the small army of folks who worked behind-the-scenes throughout the night to make sure everything went according to plan. Everything was wonderful, from the smooth and quick management of multiple moves from one part of the venue to another, to the gorgeous spaces, including an outdoor Crow’s Nest terrace for conversation away from the dance floor, to the genuinely solicitous staff in caring for the particular needs of some of our individual guests. They also totally embraced the “fun” vibe of all our personal touches, like the specialty cocktails named for the couples two rescue pups. We are so grateful to have been able to give our daughter and her (now) husband this magical experience as they begin the rest of their lives together.

We're an event production company and as producers this is 100% one of our favorite venue's work to with. The space is stunning and easy to work in. The staff is on top of it. Elodie Duyker, the senior event sales manager is a dream to work with. The location is prime and right off of the highway and close by to mass transit. The parking is easy, the loading areas are accessible and large. Top notch, I could not recommend this space enough. If you're thinking about booking, run don't walk.

I got married at 99 Scott in November of 2024. We had a quick turnaround and despite the innate stress of wedding planning, I was extremely pleased with the venue and services provided. We had our ceremony under the tent in the courtyard which exceeded our expectations- it was so beautiful. We worked with their florist for centerpieces and bouquets as well. The staff day-of was attentive and warm, all of our guests had positive things to say. Thank you so much to the team at 99 Scott!!

Amazing from start to finish. Dobbin St. operates with 100% transparency on their financial obligations, which made me super comfortable from day one. Terry and his team were extremely communicative, clear, and easy to work with. The venue team went above and beyond on the day-of to make sure everything went perfectly and our guests really loved the space!! Could not have asked for a more perfect experience.

My husband and I had been planning our wedding since December 2019 for May 2021, and then postponed to September 2021 (due to Covid). At first, we were working with Isabel, and then transitioned to working with Arielle and Camille. Everyone at The William Vale - from the event staff, to hotel staff, to restaurant staff - was such a pleasure. They were so responsive via email, so easy to work with when we had to change our date, and dealt with all of our neurosis leading up to the day of the wedding. The wedding itself was such a success. We got married at the peak of golden hour / sunset and it was a dream. The ceremony exceeded all of our expectations. We also had an after party which was just the icing on the cake. Everyone the next day let us know it was the most beautiful party they had ever attended (and that the food was the best wedding food they ever had!). If you want your dream wedding, I can't recommend The William Vale enough!!!

My husband and I had our wedding here and we were beyond please. Our guests are still raving about the food, the views of the NYC skyline are unmatched and Mike and Bill made our day go incredibly smooth. Mike helped us plan for months and was always super responsive. Bill made my calm and relaxed on our day and our wedding day was absolutely perfect.

Our wedding at ABOVE was absolutely magical — from start to finish, everything was flawless. The venue itself is breathtaking — the rooftop views, elegant décor, and stunning lighting created the most romantic atmosphere we could ever imagine. It truly felt like we were floating above the city celebrating with the people we love most. A special thank you to Jennifer, our wedding planner, who was the heartbeat behind it all. She guided us every step of the way with such grace, professionalism, and genuine care. Jennifer made us feel like we were her only couple — every detail was handled with perfection, and her calm confidence allowed us to truly relax and enjoy the day. Jackie, my bridal attendant, was an absolute angel. From fluffing my dress to making sure I ate, she anticipated everything before I even had to ask. I truly don’t know how I would’ve made it through the day without her! And Tom, our maître d’, deserves endless praise. He ran the evening seamlessly — every transition, toast, and course felt effortless because of his experience and attention to detail. Our guests are still raving about how smooth and elegant the entire evening was. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s both luxurious and heartfelt, with a team that treats you like family, look no further than ABOVE. It was the best decision we made, and we’ll cherish the memories forever.
