Our wedding at The Vanderbilt at South Beach was nothing short of perfection! From the moment we reached out to Brittany Felice, our incredible event planner, we knew we were in great hands. Brittany and her team went above and beyond to make our big day truly special.

From the start, Brittany was upfront, helpful, and made us feel like old friends. She guided us through every step of the process, answering all our questions and ensuring that our wedding reflected exactly what we envisioned. We chose to go non-traditional with certain elements, and Brittany was understanding and accommodating, making sure everything was tailored to our preferences—even on a tight timeline.

The venue itself is stunning, but it’s the team and the experience they create that makes it extraordinary. The food was absolutely AMAZING—a huge hit with our guests, especially with my Italian family, who have high standards for cuisine. Cocktail hour was a showstopper with a variety of delicious options that had everyone raving. Our Maitre d’, John, ensured we were well taken care of throughout the night. He respected our wish to attend the cocktail hour and even made sure we had our own table and tried all the entrees. He kept the night running smoothly and stress-free.

The waitstaff was attentive and wonderful, and my bridal attendant, Angel, was a true gem. She was always by my side, making sure my dress was picture-perfect, helping bustle it, and ensuring I had everything I needed.

Every detail was handled with care and professionalism. We brought our own centerpieces and favors a week before, and the team did a fantastic job setting everything up beautifully. They honored all our custom touches, making the space uniquely ours. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere—it was warm, friendly, and inviting.

My wife and I just got married here and let’s just say it was exactly how we planned it to be. We planned it over the course of 2 years and it was worth the wait. Brittney our event planner went an over and beyond for our day. From getting to know us personally and knowing what food we like, to helping us get the colour pallet exactly right. For anyone wanting to get a good venue for their wedding, this is the place. We had a small 75 person wedding in the palm room and that’s all we needed. The room is beautiful and it give you the beach access and a beautiful front porch. I would do my parties here all the time. No matter the occasion, than you Vanderbilt!

Magical beach wedding at modest price. Event planner Carmella was thorough, detailed, flexible, responsive, professional. Venue is stunning with permitted beach ceremony, elegant hall with floor to ceilings windows with flexible and spacious layouts accommodating dance floor, bar and uncrowded seating at dining tables. The decor is elegance and the staff, including multiple event coordinators, maitre d, and Bridal attendant were vested in ensuring a joyful evening, by proactively working with outside vendors (kosher caterer, music, floral, zoomographer, photographer…) with attention to myriad details. Separate space with bar for cocktail hour. Package was built flexibly for the duration sought and the number of guests preferred. Pricing was reasonable and accommodations were generous. Especially appreciated bonus additional touches such as extra votive candles, tablecloth upgrade, access to house music system for playlists between live music rounds. Kosher accommodations and contractual commitment to quality wine was seamless. Very grateful.

I planned my wedding within three to four months. We had our wedding in winter 2023, as our "destination wedding" we wanted something in New York City that was beautiful, driving & parking friendly, as well as had a nice view. This venue checked all that off. Then when I called and emailed several times before booking, Brittany was happy to answer rather quickly. Throughout the three months, she was easy to talk to, and sometimes she would respond late nights and weekends so I felt at ease when the day finally came. To drop off the items was a breeze I just said what I had and how I wanted it while meeting my team and WOW they did great. Oh and EVERYONE bragged about the food!!! Literally, every single person was talking about the rice and dessert bar for days after the wedding- and remind you this was around Christmas so they were eating the best rice (grandmother's rice) and talking about the rice from my wedding...that solidified the fact that I chose the right venue for my wedding.



P.S Just a word of advice...The only thing I wish I would have asked for help from the venue was to MC and/or add a timeframe to announce photos with my family (that was the one thing I didn't get to do :( but that was MY bad scheduling. Not at fault but just a tip for you future brides of Vanderbilt. I call myself a happy VanderBride :) Thanks, Brittany!

The Vanderbilt is purely five stars. The entire staff is professional, knowledgeable, extremely kind and beyond helpful. My entire experience was so pleasurable. Brittany, the banquet manager is so accommodating and goes above and beyond to make your experience the best it can be. I highly recommend the Vanderbilt. The banquet rooms are updated and immaculate clean. The bathrooms are very clean. The food is of good quality and creative. These factors are super important to me and the Vanderbilt hit on all levels.

The Vanderbilt exceeded my expectations for my engagement party. Brittany was the most excellent event planner and was able to plan the most amazing party happen in less then 10 days. She accommodated our Halal menus and our guest list exceptionally. To any Muslim families looking for an amazing venue, the Vanderbilt should be your choice! And Brittany is the one to trust with your event. 100/10 experience.

Everyone who attended my wedding told me it was the best wedding they ever attended. The VSB has the most attentive staff. From the moment we booked until the day came our Event Manager Brittany was an exemplary partner in planning this event. As a professional event planner myself I couldn't be happier with every aspect of their service. While I had a large wedding, the multidimensional space can easily be adapted for a much smaller and more intimate affair. Our beach ceremony was incredibly moving and the food quality is tremendous - this is truly the most beautiful venue to get married at in all of New York City. If you are an anti Staten Island snob, I dare you to spend one evening at the Vanderbilt! I am so grateful to have shared this experience with the incredible staff at the Vanderbilt!

At the risk of sounding overtly overjoyed, we most certainly give the Vanderbilt at South Beach a million stars if we could. The service met and exceeded our expectations to the point of being exceptional. Our Event Manager, Brittany did a phenomenal job, going above and beyond to ensure that our event was nothing less than an A+. The way that the timeline of service was coordinated felt seamless and professionally attentive, not only to us but to each and every one of our guests as well. September 7, 2023, was simply unforgettable. There is no doubt that we will perpetually recommend this venue to friends, family, and business associates for years to come.
