Our wedding at The Vanderbilt at South Beach was nothing short of perfection! From the moment we reached out to Brittany Felice, our incredible event planner, we knew we were in great hands. Brittany and her team went above and beyond to make our big day truly special.
From the start, Brittany was upfront, helpful, and made us feel like old friends. She guided us through every step of the process, answering all our questions and ensuring that our wedding reflected exactly what we envisioned. We chose to go non-traditional with certain elements, and Brittany was understanding and accommodating, making sure everything was tailored to our preferences—even on a tight timeline.
The venue itself is stunning, but it’s the team and the experience they create that makes it extraordinary. The food was absolutely AMAZING—a huge hit with our guests, especially with my Italian family, who have high standards for cuisine. Cocktail hour was a showstopper with a variety of delicious options that had everyone raving. Our Maitre d’, John, ensured we were well taken care of throughout the night. He respected our wish to attend the cocktail hour and even made sure we had our own table and tried all the entrees. He kept the night running smoothly and stress-free.
The waitstaff was attentive and wonderful, and my bridal attendant, Angel, was a true gem. She was always by my side, making sure my dress was picture-perfect, helping bustle it, and ensuring I had everything I needed.
Every detail was handled with care and professionalism. We brought our own centerpieces and favors a week before, and the team did a fantastic job setting everything up beautifully. They honored all our custom touches, making the space uniquely ours. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere—it was warm, friendly, and inviting.
Thank you to Brittany, John, Angel, and the entire team at The Vanderbilt. You exceeded all our expectations and gave us a wedding we will cherish forever. Special shoutout to Brittany, our event coordinator, who was nothing short of amazing. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care made us feel supported every step of the way. The Royal Wedding package offered by The Vanderbilt was truly comprehensive, including everything we could have imagined—and even things we didn’t realize we needed. From the decor to the impeccable catering to the seamless timeline execution, the team left no stone unturned. We were able to fully enjoy our day without a single worry. And my wedding attendant Angel, truly was! So sweet and attentive! Our guests are still raving about the exceptional service, breathtaking views, and how smoothly everything flowed. Magical beach wedding at modest price. Event planner Carmella was thorough, detailed, flexible, responsive, professional. Venue is stunning with permitted beach ceremony, elegant hall with floor to ceilings windows with flexible and spacious layouts accommodating dance floor, bar and uncrowded seating at dining tables. The decor is elegance and the staff, including multiple event coordinators, maitre d, and Bridal attendant were vested in ensuring a joyful evening, by proactively working with outside vendors (kosher caterer, music, floral, zoomographer, photographer…) with attention to myriad details. Separate space with bar for cocktail hour. Package was built flexibly for the duration sought and the number of guests preferred. Pricing was reasonable and accommodations were generous. Especially appreciated bonus additional touches such as extra votive candles, tablecloth upgrade, access to house music system for playlists between live music rounds. Kosher accommodations and contractual commitment to quality wine was seamless. Very grateful. -

Everyone who attended my wedding told me it was the best wedding they ever attended. The VSB has the most attentive staff. From the moment we booked until the day came our Event Manager Brittany was an exemplary partner in planning this event. As a professional event planner myself I couldn't be happier with every aspect of their service. While I had a large wedding, the multidimensional space can easily be adapted for a much smaller and more intimate affair. Our beach ceremony was incredibly moving and the food quality is tremendous - this is truly the most beautiful venue to get married at in all of New York City. If you are an anti Staten Island snob, I dare you to spend one evening at the Vanderbilt! I am so grateful to have shared this experience with the incredible staff at the Vanderbilt! -

The Vanderbilt @ South Beach made our wedding day perfect. From the inception and introductions to the final song. Our wedding planner Brittany was amazing. Her personality as always upbeat and uplifting. She made Jen and I feel so at ease.l all the time. Always reassuring us and making suggestions that were perfect and meaningful. She listened to use and what we wanted and she delivers, 110%. Every venue needs a Brittany.
John the Maitre’d did everything possible to give us a seamless, stressless experience. He was making sure the staff was on point, making sure the ceremony was went unblemished. Every time I was looking for something he was right there to ask what I needed. Truly, a great guy and host and then there was Giana the bridal attendant. Geez what can I say, this young lady gave us exceptional attention. From the time we walked in, which was early by the way, to the very end. She had a glowing personality and made all In the bridal party fell at ease and provided excellent attention. A god send in this kind of business. The venue was beautifully decorated, the table layout perfect and the menu we choose with the help of Brittany, was nothing short of outstanding and succulent. Every detail was ideal and done with precision. I have to give credit to the waitstaff, bartenders and the back of the house. They killed it and their friendly, outgoing demeanors and personalities were noticed by all. I have to say a job well done by the Vanderbilt for giving Jen and I an experience that will never be forgotten.The Vanderbilt at South Beach's reply:

Words can not describe how grateful I am that we chose The Vanderbilt as the place where we got married !! I always dreamed of getting married at The Vanderbilt just because my husband and I walked on the boardwalk on our first date and they exceeded our expectations!! We originally were suppose to get married 8/15/20 but because of covid we had to postpone. We were so lucky to get a Saturday in June 2021! The switch was very easy! Brittany is so amazing, she is so enthusiastic, hardworking and a pleasure to work with!! She made sure we had our dream wedding!! we can't wait to work with her again!!!
My husband and I are big foodies and it was so important to us that we had delicious food At our wedding. Our cocktail hour was awesome. We loved all our stations (ramen, fresh from sea, sushi, churrascaria, italian, and risotto). We also had delicious carvings, cheese station and 11 passed apps that nobody had A problem getting as there were so many servers going around! Our guests were raving about the cocktail hour and I have been told it was the best food they had at a wedding. Guests also loved the salad, pasta and entree options! Dessert was delicious with a chocolate fountain, gelato, pie station, pasticceria and barista bar).
Monica, our bridal attendant was amazing and made sure my husband and I got to try all the food during cocktail hour as she brought it up to our bridal suite right after the ceremony. She also made sure my bridal party always had drinks and they were all raving about her! She saved the day more than once!!
One thing that did go wrong is that it rained and we had to move our ceremony inside. Even though it was not our plan, the team made the space look beautiful and the Ceremony turned out gorgeous (so brides if it does rain, it will ultimately be okay). We were lucky and able to get beautiful boardwalk picture as the weather was okay during picture time.
Again, I am so happy with how our wedding turned out and will 1,000% recommend!!The Vanderbilt at South Beach's reply:

I can't say enough good things about my experience at the Vanderbilt. Brittany, our event planner there, and the rest of her staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Brittany always kept a cool head, and when the ceremony had to be moved inside, she assured me that it would be perfect anyway, and it was. The food was fantastic and my guests are still talking about it! Everything was beautiful. I would absolutely recommend having your wedding at the Vanderbilt! -

Where does one even begin. From before booking the Vanderbilt the staff was super accommodating. I explained our vision to our planner Brittany Felice and she was able to put together a package for us that fit our budget. We planned for almost 2 years and we were always made to feel like anything was possible. Brittany entertained all of my ideas and helped to execute them seamlessly. We also had our rehearsal dinner at Southfin Grill next door.
The day of our wedding was just magical. Brittany, Felix and Monica were there for us every step of the way. We didn’t have to worry about anything and they worked so well with our vendors. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend the Vanderbilt. They take care of you as if you were family and you will have an amazing event there because the staff loves what they do. Our friends and family cannot stop raving about how perfect everything was. Thank you Vanderbilt team !! -

Every feedback we hear from our guests is that food was awesome, the place looked gorgeous, and everyone was impressed. They also enjoyed taking photos in the beautiful outdoor garden & on the romantic boardwalk.
During the preparation stage, the sales manager Sal and his assistants were very responsive to my emails and very accommodating to our requests. Sal even called me proactively several times to discuss things in details.
On the wedding day, Sal stayed until everything was set up and ready. I have heard that the sales managers don’t always show up on the wedding day, so we truly appreciated Sal’s follow-through and professionalism! We loved (very much) everything set up by our Maitre’D Ardit and Nick & their crew - the cocktail hour, the reception and even the chocolate fountain at dessert hour. I just left it all with them and didn’t need to worry about a thing, and everything turned out to be above and beyond expectation. And I have to give high praise and thanks to my bridal attendant Brittany. She was with me ALL night, and was super attentive. She served us drinks & food, and held the long trail of my wedding gown when I walked around, and smoothed the trail and my floor-length veil before I entered the reception. I cannot say enough of how thankful I was to have her!
Thanks Vanderbilt for giving us such a pleasant memory of our special day. We’d highly recommend it to every future couple!

Up until the day of the there was constant communication and great rapport between the wedding coordinator Margaret and her Assistant Elsie and assisted me in every aspect of this memorable day. Their service, courtesy and overall performance was just outstanding and I will be forever grateful for all they have done to make sure my big day went without flaw. -

We were married in September 2023 at the Vanderbilt and had an amazing experience! We're incredibly grateful for their ability to make our NYC beach wedding dream a beautiful reality. Guests complimented the unique location, elegant space, considerate service, and delicious, abundant food.
Brittany was incredibly helpful and kind throughout the planning process. She made everything easy, and for every idea or suggestion we had, went above expectations in fulfilling it. This included coming earlier than originally planned for getting ready, executing both of our ideas for signature cocktails, ensuring all dietary needs were met, handling last-minute guest list changes with aplomb, and much more. Communication was great from the beginning all the way through to making sure we received all our items back post-event.
John, as maitre'd, did a great job communicating and coordinating on the day. He was especially helpful in clarifying our plans for the entrance after happy hour (we didn't do a great job figuring this out in advance) and handled everything with kindness and flexibility.
Gianna was also an amazing day-of attendant! She made sure we had everything we could possibly need or want while preparing and throughout the evening. She also put together an absolutely gorgeous "book bar" for guests to select a book and bookmark as a favor. I had a basic vision, but she transformed the area with decorative branches, crystals, and beautiful book arrangements. This was an element of the wedding that I felt especially excited about, so it was awesome to have it so beautifully executed. She was also instrumental in shooing away those pesky lanternflies, helping bustle my gown, and ensuring my husband and I actually got something to drink. She was a delightful presence all throughout the day.
Every staff member at the Vanderbilt was helpful, thoughtful, and dedicated to making every detail of our day as perfect as possible. Our guests had a great time, and so did we. I will not hesitate to come back for any future events I plan, and wholeheartedly recommend the Vanderbilt to others.The Vanderbilt at South Beach's reply:

My daughter’s wedding was beautiful!
Our guests were impressed with ambiance and service.
Thanks to the dedicated stuff at Vanderbilt it went smoothly without any hitch. Our wedding was a small one, but it was treated as a major event of the year.
Special thanks to Salvatore for invaluable advices and unending help in planning this event. I never heard a word ‘NO’ from him. All my questions and wishes were timely answered and exacted as requested.
Maitre d’hotel Felix was like a good conductor performing with great managing skills. Two waiters were very efficient and went without disturbing anyone.
Food was delicious and plenty. The professionals hired for the wedding DJ, photographer and photo booth attendant were treated with respect. All our wedding decorations were professionally displayed even before we got there.
I could not ask for more. I was very satisfied. Recommend for any event!!!
