It was a PERFECT wedding, in was honored to officiate!. Guest came from vermin to ft Lauderdale FL & in between! About 105 guest. From rehursal to the very end this staff was top-notch. From (George ? Beach set up) to your shinning wedding organizer Ms. A, and everyone working that day, I can not say enough great things. When thrown a curve ball, (another wedding set up ext door at 2:30) our 3:00 wedding ran like clockwork! She rolled with everything like it was nothing, a smile was always on her face even when some didn't follow directions😭 . I don't have pictures yet but here to say, had that been my childs wedding I would have cried my eyes out. The food was unbelievable. The staff professional. It's ALWAYS a perfect day when you have family & friends together to honor the bride & groom. However when parents are in Vermont & Georgia, there's 20+ kids & 80+ adults and every single person there has the best time of their lives, Ms. A is a KEEPER. Can I get a job & work with her?? Please. Anyone that is considering having a wedding here DO IT!! Yu our will not regret it!!

I want to say that we used the Hampton Inn & Suites Brier Creek for our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. We also blocked rooms for our out of town guests and bridal party. Caitlyn Derrico was amazing. She is professional, courteous and a joy to work with. I also had great interaction with all of the staff at the desk. Jacob was very helpful when we had to add more rooms at the last minute. If you need to block rooms for your wedding or need a place for your rehearsal dinner you cannot go wrong!

Hilton was a very reasonable venue that checked all our boxes for the things that we wanted. Wedding on the beach, cocktail hour on the pier, reception in the pier house. Miha, the wedding coordinator, was phenomenal. From the time we booked the venue at the wedding expo, to the food tasting, the emails asking questions, down to the rehearsal and wedding she answered every question and took care of business with ease. She was honest about which packages made the most sense for our wedding and helped us find some of the best venders for our wedding. We can not thank her enough. Totally recommended the Kitty Hawk Pier as your wedding destination for the best day ever!

Shell Island Resort was an absolute dream venue for our wedding in August 2025! From the very beginning, Meredith, the Director of Sales, was incredible to work with. She was helpful, communicative, accommodating, and truly made the entire year of planning feel smooth, organized, and even enjoyable. No detail was overlooked, and she made sure everything came together perfectly for our big day. We had our ceremony right on the beach, which was breathtaking, and our reception hosted 150 guests comfortably and beautifully. The team decorated both the outdoor ceremony space and the indoor reception beautifully. They offered so many décor options to choose from, which made it easy to bring our vision to life while still feeling personalized and unique to us. Everything was set up flawlessly, and the spaces looked absolutely stunning. The recommended vendors were also amazing—each one professional, reliable, and fantastic to work with. It was clear that Shell Island has strong partnerships with vendors who genuinely care about making weddings special. The bartenders deserve a special shoutout as well! They were incredibly friendly, fun, and kept the energy high all night. They made sure we, our family, and our friends were served quickly, and somehow they always remembered everyone’s drink orders—which honestly blew my mind, especially with 150 guests! They played a huge role in keeping the celebration flowing smoothly and making sure everyone had a great time. One thing we especially appreciated was the solid backup plan for inclement weather. Even though our day was beautiful, it gave us such peace of mind knowing the team had everything covered. Meredith and the entire Shell Island team maintained the most welcoming, positive, and relaxed attitudes throughout the entire process. Their calm confidence made all the difference and allowed us to truly enjoy both the planning and the wedding day itself. If you’re considering Shell Island Resort for your wedding, I cannot recommend it enough. They made our wedding day absolutely perfect, and we are so grateful for the unforgettable experience they created for us and our guests.

This is a magical venue. It used to be a golf course so there is plenty of land and hills to take beautiful photos. The inn has so much character from the history. The staff was more than accommodating. They provided all the decor, flowers, and catering. They even suggested a DJ. The town is like stepping back in time but still close enough to larger towns. I felt like a Disney princess.

I am SO happy that we decided on Hotel Ballast for our ceremony and reception venue. The wedding packages they provide, you cannot beat! Literally everything you need to make a ceremony and reception happen, is included in their packages. I can't even imagine having to find and hire each individual vendor ourselves; they do all that work for you, and that was a huge load off our shoulders. We went with the Amethyst package and had an open bar for 3 hours. We had so many of our guest come up to us and tell us how stunning the venue is, how amazing the food was, how beautiful the decor is, etc. Karen was our wedding coordinator and she was so helpful and kind during each and every step of our planning! Both the ceremony and reception were held indoors; she ensured that the chairs during the ceremony and the tables during the reception were socially distanced. Highly recommend this hotel as a venue, and ask for Karen!

We hosted our end of year party for Ever Be Floral at the Marriott and were completely blown away by all of their staff! We worked with Angie and Shayla, and both of them were incredible attentive to all of our questions! The catering was just outstanding - large portions and incredible food. We have nothing but amazing things to say about this venue and would recommend them to everyone!

We had our wedding reception at The Marriott Southpark on Saturday, July 15th 2023. The Staff and coordinator went above and beyond to make our wedding the best day ever. We had the Suite to get ready in and have for the night of the wedding. We had 150 people and the Morrison Ballroom was perfect. We also had an after party at the AC hotel rooftop bar. The food was plated and delicious along with two bars for 5 hours. Highly recommend to any bride!

We had our wedding at The Umstead Hotel and it was absolutely incredible. From the very beginning it was clear we were working with a team that truly knows how to take care of people. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but they made the entire process feel organized, calm, and easy every step of the way. The setting could not be more beautiful. The property feels peaceful and private, surrounded by trees and the lake, and it creates such a special atmosphere for a wedding. Everything about the space feels elegant without feeling over the top. Our guests kept commenting on how stunning the venue was and how much they loved being there. What really made the experience stand out was the staff. They operate at a completely different level. Every detail was handled with care and professionalism, and they made the entire day run smoothly from start to finish. We never felt rushed or stressed and were able to truly enjoy the day with our family and friends. The food was also outstanding. It was genuinely fantastic and far better than what most people expect from a large event. Several of our guests told us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. If you are considering getting married anywhere in the Triangle, The Umstead is hard to beat. The combination of the setting, the service, and the overall experience made it the perfect place for us to get married. We are incredibly grateful to their team for making the day so special.

The wedding turned out beautifully. The overall pricing was fair for the services , food and staff provided. Our coordinator Katelyn worked diligently to make our day memorable and met our requests and needs with professionalism and precision. Our matre de Vernita, banquet captain Gabby and banquet manager were very prompt , responsive and attentive to our every request.
