Grandville Lawn: A stunning setting, the Bermuda grass lawn with brick paver perimeter features two white gazebos with trailing vines. Your guests will enjoy the view of the East Golf Course and the lush garden area surrounding the venue.

Grassy Knoll: A more intimate venue, the Grassy Knoll is located near Cafe Expresso and looks out to the East Golf Course.

Griffin Room: Warm and welcoming, the Griffin Room boasts cathedral ceilings with timber beams, a floor to ceiling double sided stone fireplace, a wall of windows overlooking the golf area. There is a recessed entertainment area for a band or DJ and permanent dance floor.

Carlisle Ballroom: An intimate setting, the Carlisle Ballroom is accented with 12 foot ceilings, dark wood paneling, a parquet dance floor and mirror tiles with draperies to give the impression of windows.

Grandview Ballroom: Offering a view, the Grandview Ballroom features glass doors leading to a private second story terrace overlooking the lawn, gardens and golf course. Grandview has elegant decor, a permanent dance floor, as well as large prefunction area to host cocktails before dinner.

Grandville Ballroom: Traditional Grand Ballroom with soaring 16 foot ceilings. Grandville Ballroom is the perfect blank canvas for the event of your dreams. There is a large dance floor available and flexible staging for entertainment.

Accommodations

The newly renovated guest rooms are updated in neutral tones of beige and gray with streamlined yet comfortable furnishings including wingback chair with ottoman, and new custom Stearns & Foster mattresses designed exclusively for Grandover Resort. The spacious bathroom features a full shower with rain-showerhead and glass wall. Modern and custom artwork and accent pieces complete the transformation.

Each guest room features a wet bar with mini-refrigerator, bathrobes for guest use during their stay, in-room temperature controls, 42" flat panel television, and a safe for valuables.

This is your sign to just book it!

My husband and I had the absolute best time at our wedding at the Grandover Resort! We wanted something outside the norm with our wedding, incorporating our Chinese heritage, and Rebekah and her team were able to make those adjustments!

First, the venue is absolutely stunning. Our photos came out fantastic given the beautiful background and greenery!

Second, the staff is so wonderful to work with. Given our unique take on the wedding, Rebekah was more than flexible and willing to work with us ie providing our own Boba station, having lion dancers, doing a traditional Chinese tea ceremony etc.
Rebekah had also given us great recommendations to vendors who worked with them previously which made the whole day extremely streamlined!

Lastly, we loved how the staff were so loving and welcoming. The day before the wedding, we did a walkthrough with wedding party and family. Everyone on staff in the hotel were so friendly and treated us with such kindness.

Beautiful, helpful, and kind. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our big day! Thank you all so much for making our day all the more special!

Wedding weekend

I highly recommend The Grandover Resort for a night away or if you’re staying for a week. We had my son’s wedding there and it was absolutely perfect. The resort has so many amenities. Rebekah DeMarcantonio was simply amazing. She was so easy to work with and helped out tremendously on planning the perfect Rehearsal Dinner. Rebekah made the whole weekend the perfect Wedding weekend. We had our Rehearsal Dinner in The Griffin Room and I highly recommend it. It was absolutely stunning. Carolina was our bartender both nights and she was fantastic. She always had a smile on her face and was so fun to be around. The overall staff, at The Grandover Resort, was very impressive. They were all so kind and helpful. We had the best weekend ever at an amazing venue. We will definitely be going back for a weekend stay.

Our Wedding

We are beyond grateful for Rebekah DeMarcantonio, our incredible wedding coordinator, who made our special day absolutely seamless. From the moment we arrived, her attentiveness and calm presence set the tone for a stress-free celebration. Her eye for detail was impeccable—every element was perfectly in place, and not a single issue arose at the venue.

Thanks to Rebekah’s expert coordination, everything flowed effortlessly and all we had to do was soak in the joy of the day. Our guests had a fantastic time, and we received so many compliments on how smooth and beautiful the wedding was. Rebekah truly went above and beyond, and we can’t thank her enough for helping bring our vision to life.

Beautiful wedding venue

The Grandover Resort was a beautiful setting for our wedding, and our guests loved having everything in one place with the hotel, restaurants, and amenities on-site. The ballrooms and outdoor areas were stunning, and the food and service were excellent. Rebekah was helpful throughout the planning process and kept everything on track leading up to the big day. Overall, it was a great experience, and we are *so* glad we chose the Grandover for our wedding!

A Perfect Wedding Weekend at the Grandover Hotel

We recently had our son’s wedding weekend at the Grandover Hotel, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the resort's beautiful grounds and elegant atmosphere set the tone for an unforgettable celebration.
The staff went above and beyond in every way—pleasant, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire weekend. Whether it was assisting guests with check-in and luggage, coordinating details with our welcome reception and wedding plans, or simply offering a warm smile in the hallways, the team made us feel truly cared for. I’d like to personally thank Rebekah DeMarcantonio, Director of Weddings, for all her help in planning our events; Jim Nemeti, Head Gold Professional & Jonathan for coordinating our golfing event; Mille for overseeing our receptions and making sure things went well; Carolina & Terrance for their outstanding bar tending services; and Vinson the outstanding bellman.
Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was another highlight—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented at every meal. The Lobby Bar was a great place to hang out with our guests to relax and unwind in between events.
We couldn’t have asked for a better setting or experience for such a special occasion. Thank you to the entire Grandover team for helping make our son’s wedding weekend so memorable. We will cherish the memories forever and look forward to returning in the future!

Great Wedding Weekend

Our family and many friends stayed at the Grandover Resort during my daughter’s recent wedding at a nearby location. We had several events at the Grandover including a ladies luncheon around the pool and a Welcome Party in the 19 and Timber Bar. Rebekah DeMarcantonio helped organize all of the details of the two events and the room block and it turned out to be a fabulous weekend.

Wedding weekend

The staff and service at the Grandover Resort was professional, courteous & responsive. I highly recommend either hosting events there or staying if your wedding is at a different site. Rebekah Demarcantonio was very detailed, communicative and responsive at all time, a pleasure to work with. Zac, the bellman, was exceptional! He assisted our large party with a level of attentiveness that is unmatched and always with a smile. Christopher, front desk manager at night, was so helpful, professional and a great sense of humor. The Grandover is luxurious & the staff makes it stand out.

Mother of the Bride

After considering 5 other venues in Greensboro, we selected Grandover Resort for our daughter's wedding reception. We were extremely pleased with our decision. First of all, Grandover has a designated wedding coordinator, Rebekah, and she is fabulous. She worked with us for over a year and she is knowledgeable, friendly, organized and responsive. Everything went smoothly and even better than we had hoped.

Here are just a few of the perks of selecting Grandover:
1. There is an on-site spa so the bridal party can get treatments on-site. They can even hang out by one of the pools while treatments are going on and enjoy lunch poolside.
2. Your guests can stay at the hotel at a discounted rate so you do not have to worry about drinking and driving. At the end of the reception, guests only have to ride the elevator to their room. The hotel stays include breakfast and the food is wonderful.
3. The food at our cocktail hour and our dinner buffet was excellent. In addition, the service of waitstaff and bartenders was top notch.
4. Rebekah made sure that the wedding party (male and female) had nice big rooms to get ready for the wedding. There were mirrors, clothes racks for hanging dresses and high stools for putting on makeup. We even had a wonderful breakfast for the bridesmaids to enjoy while getting their hair and makeup done.
5. Our ballroom was beautiful and we also had access to a stone patio and many guests enjoyed sitting out their and talking throughout the night. We added fairly lights on the rails which made it even more magical.
6. One month prior to the wedding, we did a walkthrough with Rebekah and our wedding planner. All details were reviewed and I am sure that is why everything went so well.

If you are looking for a wedding venue, we recommend Grandover without reservation. We are convinced there is not better choice in the Triad. We had a truly memorable experience and our stress level was kept low by the excellent execution of Grandover Staff.

Black Rehearsal Dinner 5/22024

The dinner was perfect from the setup to the quality of the buffet. The entire staff John, Rebekah, Jhaya, Angel, Frantz-So, Damecha, and Terrance were wonderful and very accommodating. We had a lot of people from out of town and from Australia and everyone was impressed with the food, service and the entire event. Could not have had a better time. Thank you all so much for a wonderful evening
