Michele and Passion made everything PERFECT! Thank you! We had the ceremony out on the terrace, and a cocktail hour on the patio, and dinner and dancing upstairs in the bar room. It was perfect for 108 to 110 people. The hors d’oeuvres were a hit and the food stations were delicious! The service was A+!!!!

Food was great and it was a very cozy experience. The coordinators was super communicative and the entire process went so smoothly !

Our daughter was married at Thorndale Oats 10/8/2021 and it was beautiful. Jennifer & DL were the best to work with, they did everything to make the wedding and reception just the way we dreamed it would be. They made us feel so relaxed from day one to walking down the isle. The venue is beautiful and the food was delicious. Thank you Jennifer & DL, we really appreciated all you did for us. Cheyenne made our wedding planning experience so smooth! we so appreciate the staff for making this a fun and breezy experience. my dress wasn’t bustled correctly and cheyenne helped me fix it right before the reception! Everyone was so kind kind and just took care of us. Cole also did a great job with bartending our rehearsal dinner and wedding. He kept the lively energy and made our night lol. The whole staff took off so much stress during the planning process and rehearsal dinner/wedding night. We have been recommending this venue to newly engaged couples ever since we booked. beautiful venue, great service, amazing experience, and everything is fairly priced! Thank you 12 Oaks!

We held our wedding reception at Olde Beau Golf and Country Club. Tommy Maines and the staff at Olde Beau were fantastic. Tommy worked with us during the planning phase, making recommendations on timing, table layouts, dinner selections, vendors, etc. He was so helpful! He was very flexible with our schedule-- we were planning the wedding from a long distance, so we often were limited in the times that we could meet. The venue of the Olde Beau Golf course and clubhouse in Roaring Gap was absolutely gorgeous. The views of the mountains were stunning-- great for photos! The clubhouse was lovely and there was plenty of space for a seated dinner for 150 people and a full dance floor! The clubhouse and grounds were immaculately maintained, and so easy to decorate (only required very simple decorations because the venue was so beautiful). The food was fantastic. We were nervous about having a seated dinner with steak and fish as our options, but both were cooked perfectly! This was not typical wedding food! The food was delicious and served hot to everyone. We received so many compliments on the food from our guests. The staff was courteous and professional throughout the evening! Everything just seemed like it magically happened! Food appeared, drinks were always filled, and plates were cleared without anyone noticing! We had a delay in the start of dinner due to an emergency that occurred right after our wedding ceremony. Tommy was incredibly flexible, and there were no issues with the delay in serving the dinner. In fact, everything was so calm and fun that our guests didn't even realize that there was a delay at all! Olde Beau offers rentals of villas and cottages that are a short walk from the clubhouse. Many of our out of town family and friends stay there, and they all had rave reviews! We also stayed there on our wedding night. When we arrived, we had leftovers waiting for us in the fridge! We love Olde Beau!

Hands down the best decision we made was having Hope Valley Country Club as our wedding venue. Our coordinators Travis and Katie were AMAZING. Everyone was so impressed with how skilled they were at commanding a room, organized, and just lovely! They made sure we had everything we needed and they and the staff at HVCC made our wedding day PERFECT from the gorgeous backdrop to the food! We can never thank Travis, Katie, and HVCC enough for all they did for our wedding weekend. THE best!!!

The Birdie Ballroom was a fabulous venue for my Son and Daughter In Law's wedding. An outdoor ceremony was lovely overlooking the golf course. The Ballroom allowed for the Bridal Party to have hair/make up/dress on site. The room is gorgeous and the flowers and decorations were amazing. It was so easy to work with this vendor and they were so professional and courteous. I highly recommend a wedding at this venue.

We held our belated wedding reception at MacGregor Downs on 9/29. We just want to extend a huge thank you to Cheyenne Tatro & the MacGregor Downs team for facilitating every single detail to make our day special. Thank you for making our reception amazing! There were so many things to be figured out, logistics - everyone had so much fun and you helped us make such wonderful memories. You set stuff up for us as if you read my mind, which helped so much on the day of. I don’t know how to express how meaningful this was for us. Our hearts are so warm thinking about all you did to make our day special - thank you!!!

Our experience with Starmount Forest Country Club was excellent! We had our reception at Starmount, and it is a stunning place to have a wedding! The facilities are all so beautiful, and the chandeliers and mantle add such a beautiful touch to a wedding. Our food tasting with Chef Brian was very fun, and we loved how he created some customized dishes for our reception. Emily was responsive to email and went out of her way to help us with all of our questions. On the day before and day of the wedding, the staff were so helpful, answered all of our questions, and went above and beyond to make our reception beautiful and seamless. The way they put out some of our reception decor was more beautiful than I had envisioned, and all of the service was so kind and professional. We received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the reception was and how delicious the food was. We wouldn't change a thing about having our reception at Starmount.

From the very beginning, we loved working with the event staff and team at the Washington Duke. The venue is simply gorgeous and was the perfect size for our wedding. Bethany was so helpful and very responsive every time I had a question. Her patience with us was so great! The dinner reception the night of the wedding was just perfect and we got so many compliments on the food choices we had made. The staff were all great to work with and we had such a wonderful experience right from the very beginning all the way through. Thank you!
