Had our reception there June 8th 2019. It was affordable, amazing atmosphere, not an issue that it was at the mall or anything of the sort. We had a diverse guess range. They let us come early to decorate for our event! Everyone complimented the service, and the food. The food was incredible! I would highly recommend this place!!!!

Vin Rouge was a beautiful place to hold our reception. It was outdoors but covered (so we were taken care of in case it rained), and the setting was very simple but very elegant. The waitstaff were phenomenal and Michael was incredible. He was very helpful, not pushy at all and very willing to help us make our reception an amazing evening. The food and wine were wonderful. I can't say enough good things about this place, and the guests seemed to really enjoy themselves.

Vidrio is one of our favorite restaurants for the food, atmosphere, and service. We were thrilled to learn they had a wedding venue that is as beautiful as their restaurant and right in Glennwood Ave. We loved working with them, especially their events coordinator, Amelia. They lived up to our expectations and more, and were so helpful during the COVID-19 (wedding) crisis. I would 110%recommend them to anyone looking for a great wedding venue.

I spilled my drink and Merritt was fast to clean up. And quickly got me another drink. He was very accommodating and had a great attitude. We enjoy dining at The Porch.

I had my engagement party at Second Empire and they did a great job! It is my favorite restaurant in Raleigh, and they definitely delivered on a larger-scale event. The food was excellent and the service was un-paralleled. My guests were well cared for and enjoyed the experience. Even though we purchased flowers for the buffet tables, the coordinator offered to gather extra flowers from their own stock to make a larger arrangement for us. We were very pleased!

We had our rehersal dinner at Winston's Grille. The food was amazing and the event and wait staff were professional, just amazing! They have 3 separate rooms depending on your party size. They even designed a menu just for us. They were able to provide gluten free menu options for our guests too! Without a doubt a great place to have a rehersal or a small wedding reception. I hear they have great brunch too!

Vimala was very kind and personal through the whole process. She was highly enthusiastic, always eager to try new things, and put both Indian and Korean food on the table during the wedding. The food was fantastic, and our guests loved it. She made Indian Chai for the reception, and many of our guests chose to drink that over alcohol. The Cafe also handled our event rentals and we didn’t have to worry about it. Highly recommended, especially if you want to serve something out of ordinary!

Lynn assured me that my 50th Birthday party would be perfect, and it was the best ever! Atmosphere was perfect, food was great, and we had a cash bar that everyone loved.

The Catering manager, Liz was very responsive and easy to work with. We wanted a casual feel for our rehearsal dinner and authentic BBQ was totally the way to go. We did buffet style food with a cash bar which was easy to navigate with our small party of 30 people. The food was delicious and the wait staff was extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend The Pit Durham for a rehearsal dinner or any function in general!!
